Betrayal

He stood face to face with the man and in the next second they burst out laughing. I was confused so I looked over at Mom to see if she knew what was going on, to my surprise she was looking back at me equally confused.

Half an hour went by already and the men are still talking to each other. I decided to check the tusks to see if they were damaged in the car chase. Mr. Caron must have noticed me checking them because in the next moment he ended his conversation and came over to us.

Just when he was about to say something gunshots were heard and Mr. Caron fell over, the man he was talking to came over to us, " You trade me instead" I looked at Mr. Caron then back to the man.

He doesn't seem to have the intention to kill us but he will if he has too, we should just play it safe for now.

" What are you trading us for?" he went over to one of the cars, opened the trunk and got something out.
