Awakening Martial Soul Part 1

"Gu Tan, Ming Shen, Zhu Ping, Zhao Xin, Zhao Yin." Gu Chen stood in front of the huge crowd and spoke with a deep tone. This crowd was the villagers of Xuan Village.

From the crowd, five young boys and girls walked towards him. As they walked towards him, the crowd started discussing with each other.

"It's finally here. The five prodigies of our village."

"Do you think they can awaken high-ranking martial soul?"

"Pfft! Are you kidding me? They will surely awaken sixth or even seventh rank, martial soul."

"But, it would be more difficult, right? The news of Elemental Veins under our village has already been transmitted to everyone. This will definitely strike others' greed."

As Gu Tan walks nearby, he hears their conversation and sighs. Ten years, he has been lying for ten years because of this. Even though death was in front of them, they couldn't see it. Of course, he couldn't blame these people.

That's why Gu Tan doesn't want to reveal anything to them. After all, it was useless.

"Are you five ready to awaken your martial soul?" Looking at five youngsters, Gu Chen spoke with a slight smile on his lips.

Five youngsters nod their heads and sit down in front of him. They already know the method of awakening the martial soul. In fact, they could've awakened it alone but they were prodigy in the village. Thus, they were asked to awaken in the public.

Gu Tan was quite excited for this moment. He has trained Body Metamorphosis Technique and even gave them to his father. Later, his father gave it to these children. But, training the Body Metamorphosis Technique in itself was a hard thing.

In fact, to practice it, they need some level of talent which Gu Tan only possessed after awakening his Martial Soul in his previous life. But, in this life, he could skip it because of his comprehension of it.

Ming Shen was able to practice it because of his Atlas Bloodline. Nobody knew, not even Gu Tan before he checked Ming Shen's talent. But, he was slightly confused. Because Atlas was God of Titans. They were enormous and strong. Although Ming Shen was inherently strong, he wasn't small like a dwarf.

Unfortunately, he could only guess his bloodline based on some incantation he could perform without using qi.

Zhu Ping on other hand possessed Hell's Golden Crow Bloodline, possessing the fire element veins in his body. Unfortunately, he died even before he could reach fourteen. He didn't even get a chance to check his elemental talent.

Zhao Yin and Zhao Xin were weird. Because they possessed one of the strongest physiques that he has ever heard of. Both possess the same physique which was Twin Soul Physique. But, surprisingly, both of them had different elemental veins.

Zhao Yin possessed Ice Elemental Vein while Zhao Xin possessed Wood Elemental Vein. This discovery left Gu Tan speechless when he was just four years old. His friends possessed such a talent but they died even before getting a chance to shine.

Unfortunately, not everyone got such talent. But, Zhu Ping's talent didn't add up to his knowledge. Ming Shen was an orphan and that's why he could be the child of someone who had the Titan Bloodline. But, Zhu Ping's parents were completely ordinary.

That's why he was confused about Zhu Ping's talent.

But even so, he had high expectations from his friends. He hopes they could awaken a powerful martial soul, at least eighth rank martial soul. But, in fact, if it doesn't matter much if it is seventh or eighth rank.

The first rank martial soul can awaken one martial soul ability and rank third martial soul also awaken only one martial soul ability. The only fourth rank or above martial soul can awaken two. And, it needs to be the seventh rank to awaken three martial soul abilities.

Suddenly, a child sleeping in the bed started crying after hearing the loud voice. The woman next to the child hurriedly patted the child and grunted.
