220 Volume 3 Extra Part 8: The Hunt Prelude

" It seems it's time to act frontally, our devoted devotees... " said a person during an online personal communication conference, he talks in the meeting with some shadowed people, who show their faces on screen.

As they all do the meeting, the person who became the host then shares some screen, regarding the current result of the 'Abyss Tower' that landed in Trinia. Showing some results found on the site.

" Our agents had scoured many things left from that wreckage of a Tower... " a woman says in the communication conference.

" To think the disastrous Abyss Tower could be destroyed by only 'two people'... " the woman highlighted the fact as she shared the video regarding the evolved Adrian Waterson and the 'White Demon' or some people believed him to be the 'God of Abyss Tower'.

" 'People'....? " the other person in the conference says as he looks at the shared screen video.

" You called those two guys 'people', are you that insane...? "

" Hollow Witch! " the person calls the woman who talks earlier in the conference.

" Silence, Dark Sage! " 'Hollow Witch' says the 'Dark Sage'.

" I didn't care too much about what the people think of the two 'subjects', they're nothing to what I have! " Hollow Witch proudly claims.

" Oh my, the witch is being overconfident, hella funny! " another member of the conference laughs sarcastically for he reminds the 'Witch' to be not so full on herself.

" Remember that you failed to even be granted a 'Sin Core', 'Witch'... " he reminds her.

" Even with your 'worms', you still fail to make yourself be granted the Demon Monarchs' power. " he recounts which pisses the 'Hollow Witch' off as she can't take at him, hurting her ego.

" Watch your mouth, you Clownish Commoner! "

" How dare a lower caste person like you raise your mouth at me!? " she shouts to the person with her loud tone which made the host gets pissed off.

" SILENCE! " he shouted in the conference, he shouted to make the others at the conference behave for they had overstepped themselves in giving their own thoughts.

Using his power, he shows his aura, Live, in the online communication conference. Since that happened, the people in the conference began to cower as he overpressured them visually through the online meeting.

" We're sorry, Grand Demon Sect Leader... " the 'Hollow Witch' says, swallowing her great ego of a personality in the face of the Grand Demon Sect Leader, the primary ruler of every Demonic Sect on the Earth.

" You all better be... " he says as he turns off his powers, relieved that he still managed to deal with the hot-blooded younger demonic sect leaders.

* Grand Demon Sect Leader Coughs for a long duration, out loud, due to his great age. *

He coughs blood while sitting in his 'Support System Chair' filled with injections from many unidentified liquids.

"( Still managed to do this, am I? )"

"( It seems I need to be younger in order to continue... )" he says to himself, seeing his current fragile old condition.

" Listen all of you *coughs*... "

" You already know that things will never be the same again, did you all know this, right? " he states for he sees everything shared by the other demon sect leaders in the online conference.

" Just look at this... " he sees the screen, he then orders his assistant who helps him manage the conference screen. He told the assistant to focus on zooming at the evolved Adrian Waterson, zooming at his face.

" Adrian Waterson, the A-Rank Hunter and the current or... the last leader of the 'Dark Brotherhood Sect'. " the Grand leader says as he sees the record of Adrian.

" Look at him, in his young age, he managed to become a great vessel to our 'Great Masters' from the demonic realm, he completed the ritual inside the Tower, making him reborn, as the being you see him now... " he says for he asks the assistant to zoom the other subject fighting Adrian at that time.

" The 'White Demon', hmm... " the Grand leader rubs his beard after seeing this.

" I must say, in my whole life, I've never seen a being like this, even after decades serving the great lords of the Demonic Monarchs. "

" A white silvered albino being that has the power to kill a person who becomes half demon half god. " he views the 'White Demon' in the shared video.

" How unpredictable, to think something unexpected just came out from the Abyss Tower, even dare to hurt the Deviant Monarchs spiritually through the Crown. "

" I knew that I should've interfered with Waterson on doing 'that' ritual, but the Lords have made up their mind regarding his case. "

" So for his own wretched fate, is out of my concern, your concerns too even. " he says as he then tells that right now, the 'Dark Brotherhood Sect' is officially no more, thus deleting them from their ranks completely.

" Now it is time for us to act, to claim our rights in this world. "

" Even without the Deviant Monarch's permission, we must've done this or else we're the ones that will be destroyed first by the gods... "

" And also..., " the Grand Leader looks again to the shared screen that shows the 'White Demon'.

" I hereby order all of you, to hunt the 'White Demon' now! "

" This is an order! " he tells them all, making them bow for one by one of them leaves the conference.

" We will do as you command, Grand Demon Sect Leader... " the Hollow Witch leaves as the conference is over.

As it was over, the Grand Demon Leader begins to cough more blood even when his body is injected with many of his 'Support Cables' in his 'Support System Chair'.

" We must not spare more time, for things had gone bad for us since Waterson foolishly lost after revealing himself. " he coughs after saying it.

" Now because of this, the gods and their Inquisitors begin to slowly pinpoint our locations, thanks to them doing an intensive search on every of Waterson's assets. "

" Dammit Waterson, curse your greedy nature that costs us all...! " the Grand Demon Sect Leader curses the dead Adrian Waterson, he is such a predator and a parasite in whatever group he's in, either in the Hunter Association, his own 'Greater Ocean' Guild, the 'Dark Brotherhood Sect', and even to the whole 'Demon Sect' for he always think on his own above the sect's great plan.

" Well at least, the parasite is dead now..., that Demigod... " Grand Demon Sect Leader says as he coughs blood again.

" Time has been robbed from me too much and the Demonic Lords still keep me in my fragile age despite them could just return me to my peak... " he says while squeezing his hand.

" I can't wait any longer, I need to act now. "

" I don't know if the other Sect Leaders could succeed, but... " he looks at the paused video, showing the 'White Demon'.

" I need them to capture the 'White Demon'... "

" For 'he' could be my the cure for my eternal longing of youth... " Grand Demon Sect Leader says as he wanted the other Demon Sect Leaders to capture the 'White Demon' in order for him to extract his blood and return his youth.

" I'm coming, 'White Demon'... "

" I didn't know who you are, but I could tell the word 'Power' is written all over you... "

" The power that will be mine, for my eternal life...kukuku *coughs*," he says as he looks at the 'White Demon' on the paused video in his support chair, looking at him in awe while the injections still filled his body with many liquids as usual.

...

( Meanwhile. )

" Lord Loki, they are know gazing their eyes on the 'White Demon' as expected... "

" What are your orders? " the woman says to Loki as he communicates with her through her mind.

" Good, just as we planned... "

" It seems my efforts have served your tasks well, I'm proud of you. "

" 'Hollow Witch'... " Loki says as he currently talks with one of the Grand Demon Sect Leaders, the 'Hollow Witch' from the 'Hollow Witches Sect'.

" Thank you for your praise, Lord! " she says to him.

" Don't mention it, dear. "

" It's my job as a god to support you... "

" My dear Gifted Mortal... " Loki says to her as he smirks in his very Divine Allfather Throne.

" So sad that Artemis, the Hunting Goddess, is gone, but what could I say? "

" Time to begin the Hunt! " Loki says as he looks at the recording of the 'White Demon' during the 'Abyss Tower' battle with Adrian.

" I will come for you, 'White Demon'. "

" We all will... " Loki smirks as he can't wait to see the results.

As yes, Loki is finally doing his shit now.

I hope this is good for the end of the Extra Chapters of Volume 3, for things won't happen in one place again in such a massive way. In volume 4, I hope I could introduce you all to new places where the story could interchange with its characters, especially with the emergence of the Demonic Sects that I teased in Volume 2 (I remembered it, thank goodness).

This time, I would show them all, for each Demon Sect should've filled with great members that I could explain even more unlike the 'Dark Brotherhood Sect' that only becomes Adrian's prey for his own greed purposes.
