The Coffee

Khan got up from his seat walking to the door. Chairman and Leon were looking at him silently and didn't say a thing but watched. Khan walked silently however, in his mind he had the expectation of learning more from the two of them as to how they have known about him for the past two years. 

But it was not the right time to do so, he was exhausted from using too much power even before the chamber quest other things had caused him to be exhausted. 

In 2 years he got stronger and increased his level up to 46. It was required for him to do that. 

It was not just his level that had increased, more abilities were added to his collection. 

Khan held on to the handle of the door pulling the handle back which caused the door to move. He left the room without saying anything. 

"I would have never thought that he would have gotten this strong," the chairman said, smiling more like he was impressed by the growth of Khan. 

"Don't you find it suspicious chairman?" Leon questioned. 

Leon was the first one to sense Khan's energy from the time he saw his first state of the past. At that time khan was not that strong but currently, the level he was displaying only with the energy coming out of his body showed how powerful he had gotten.

"Everyone has their secrets, sir Leon. The secret he is hiding is something I'm curious about."

Chairman said in his mind. I believe you're special khan. I'm eager to see just how strong you really can get.

When leaving the building from afar Sung-woo noticed Khan leaving. "Looks like the meeting has ended, I better fetch coffee for the chairman."

When left the building, khan had to decide his next destination to where he wanted to head. He didn't have to think much he already had decided where to go.

"System, show me a nearby coffee shop location"

Delighted after knowing that the shop is nearby he grins and spoke in his mind. 

30 days is enough for me to be able to do what I can. There's nothing better to think about but coffee. 

Taking the steps, khan heads to the nearby coffee shop which the system had informed him. Coffee was now Khan's favorite on his first try he desired more of it, every day he went on to a coffee shop to drink 3 cups per day. 

His steps were fast not taking him much time to reach next to the coffee shop. Outdoor there were tables and chairs set for people to drink along with many set inside the shop. The tables had umbrellas set in the center to protect the customer from the sunlight. 

It was no simple decoration but a more eye-catching one, which was shown by how large quantity people were sitting and drinking coffee.

Khan was unable to locate any spot for himself, "what's a pain, do I have to wait for someone to leave?" 

A loud voice called, "White-haired Sir!!". It was a female voice, khan heard it and knew whom she was addressing. 

Turning to see who it was, on his first look his mind clicked the memory of the past seeing the girl from before when he was buying the three-piece suit. 

The girl was waving her hand at him. She remembered his look even after 2 years. She was giving a wide smile to Khan, who stood staring at her. 

In his mind he said. 

Isn't that girl from that time? It's not a good idea to head there i will wait for any other seat to be empty. 

Khan didn't want to sit with anyone but all by himself alone. That was peace for him as if someone were to be with him when drinking coffee this irritates him and disturbs his peace of mind. 

The girl's name was Nari and by the look, she was 23 years old. She didn't have any special abilities or she was a hunter but an average human being. 

Khan didn't respond to her hand wave and looked away in wait for any seat to get empty. Nari moved her hand down with a bit of awkward thinking. 

Ah? Why did he look away? Does he not like what I called him?

Nari didn't have any ill intentions like a person has when they see a handsome man. She just wanted to give him a seat because she had the idea that there was no other seat except for the one next to her. 

She was an overthinker due to which many weird thoughts came to her mind and of which she began to feel embarrassed.

What if that sir thinks I will ask for his number? Or maybe I'm after him? Etc 

On the other part, khan kept on waiting for a spot but no one was willing to leave. Everyone had their eyes on him looking at him like he was some sort of handsome hero who came out of a film and stood there. 

Khan finally gave up, not wanting to wait any longer. He took the seat which was next to Nari. Nari's weird thoughts were stuck in her mind, not vanishing. She was looking at the coffee inside the cup next to her. 

Nari rolled her iris to the left seeing Khan sitting next to her quietly and his stare to be on the table. Seeing how handsome Khan was her every thought disappeared.

What should I say?! Nari's mind got itself into a mess. Seeing the look of Khan not only made the thoughts disappear but the whole mind had become blank.

She was awkwardly silent but Khan remained silent because talking to her was not his business he came for the coffee and that was the only thing on his mind. 

So, where is this person who will bring me the coffee? "Waiter," Nari said. 

Instead of a waiter, a waitress came with a menu with different varieties of coffee listed on it. "What coffee would you like?" the waitress asked but when glared at Khan she blushed. 

Wow!! What a handsome! She said in amazement. 

Because the waitress's focus was on Khan she forgot to give them the menu. Nari had to take it. The Witress snapped out and spoke. "My apologies please see the menu and order whatever you like" 

Giving the menu to Khan since Nari already had her coffee. She lifted her cup to her mouth and swallowed a small amount of coffee then placed it back on the table. 

Khan then took the menu and read the whole list, when he did not respond after a couple of minutes the waitress asked him thinking he might not have liked any of it. "Is there something else you wish sir?"

"How do I choose there's lots of them on this list. I don't even know where that one is" he utters to himself in a quieter voice.

What Khan was trying to find on the list was a normal coffee but to him that coffee must have some name like there were names on this list. 

Seeing the face of a struggling Khan, Nari said to the waitress "Please bring a normal coffee" She was confident of what Khan was searching for. It was just a guess.

Khan gave her a gaze, that made Nari anxious over her action. Maybe I shouldn't have done that!! She said in her mind, regretful of what she had done.

Khan looked at the coffee in her cup which was normal coffee that Khan drinks. "Yes, bring me a normal coffee" Khan ordered the waitress.

Taking back the menu with a charming smile on her face "Yes, I will bring your order"

Oh, he wanted a normal coffee? Then why did it take so long like he was in search of something special? Phew… but I'm glad my guess was right if it wasn't I'm sure this man would have killed me.

Khan looked at her and she looked at him back, both made eye contact. She was charmed by his eyes but what next khan was about to say to her was something she didn't expect. 

"Become my servant" Khan offered.
