A Talking Monster!!

She ran and ran, despite running for so long her breath was out and her legs became heavy. On the other hand, the monster remained steady showing no sign of tiredness.

Her speed was slipping down. Unable to keep a distance between her and the monster.

"Pant… pant…"

Nari's mind became numb as she couldn't materialise a thought except for a safer escape.

Is there no place I can hide? At this rate, that monster will catch up to me in no time.

She wasn't able to stop and take a breath. With no plan to deceive the monster and hide behind a rock.

Nethertheless, running was the only helpful thing but for how long? At such a rate the monster was four big steps away before biting her head off.

Unfortunately for Nari, turning her head to look back caused her to trip and fall to the ground.

"Eik"

She was exhausted from all the running, nonetheless, she can't lay and relax. The monster was behind and her life was threatened.

Why me…

Rolling around, to view the distance. It was too late for her as the monster stared down at her. The chase of mouse and cat finally came to an end.

With her hands and legs, she crawled backwards. Using such a method caused the remaining strength to wipe out.

I don't want to die, I don't want to die.

Making some distance between her and the monster gave no benefit to Nari, which the monster covered up with only his two steps.

Horrified, she didn't dare to look straight at the face of the monster. She kept on hopeing that someone may comes to save her as she repeatedly uttered phrases.

Some please help me… someone please help me…

Nari tried to move back with hand placed on the ground, she felt something in her hand.

It was a rock, she clenched the rock and threw it at the monster. But to her surprise, the monster's reflexes were too fast and made it easy for the monster to dodge the coming rock.

The monster was furious at his prey. Coming too close to her and stretched his head near her face. He wanted to bite her head so badly.

In apprehension Nari squeezed her eyes closed and wished not to accept her death. Her hopes still were high.

Many seconds had passed, yet Nari felt no pain of any bite from the monster looking-like dinosaur. From her perspective she might have died a painless thing.

Am I dead? Why don't a feel any pain… maybe that monster bite off my head…

To verify that she is officially dead, she peeked through her one eye half open; with a hazy vision. She wasn't sure whether she died or not. Although a blue colour was somewhat in view.

Opening her eyes with full intent, she was taken a back, not dead but alive.

Why is he…?

Her eyes were fixed on the monster, who was halted but with occasional, slight movement.

The monster eyes were nightmare to her, unable to clarify such situation. She couldn't run off neither. The courage of inside vanished like dust.

Neoo… Nneooo…

Nari was stunned at first, trying to hear through her ears from where this voice came from.

Cun't, kall zuman.

Her ears were quite sensitive at such a tense time. the direction wasn't far but very close. It was coming from the mouth of the monster.

Did he just talk? Surprised, yet remained in fear.

She couldn't careless about being surprised by such a thing. However, that was something particular to notice about what the monster just said.

It again repeated itself rather sounding more clear.

Noo…

Taking steps back, the monster shook his head violently, uttering some words along.

Noo… killing… humans…

Nari could understand all three words the monster was uttering. Seeing how the monster was moving back and showing such behavior suddenly indicated that it was struggling to stop itself from eating Nari.

While stopping himself, his words were humanly even though the monster wasn't human, it knew human language.

This is my chance…

An opportunity to escape was given, all Nari had to do was to make a run for. But for her the luck had ran out too soon.

Her legs gave up.

D*mm*t it not now… you sh*t piece work….

She was frustrated, she had all rights to be after all, if she didn't ran who knows the only chance she got to survive maybe wouldn't be of any use.

With only her hands, struggling but making a progress, she crawled on the ground. It wasn't giving her a way to escape but with this she could hide somewhere close.

The monster had noticed her crawling away, "zuman… RUN…" it was a warning from the monster who didn't wanted to kill her.

Unable to hold himself back, the monster charged at Nari with his wide open mouth. What else she could do? She had done whatever she could do but in the end it came down to this…

A miracle happened, the monster close enough to Nari got struck by a fist from a red soul which appeared on side.

Bang…

"Gggrrrrraaaaahhh!!"

The monster fall to the ground at some distance. Seeing another monster Nari couldn't certify whether the one who just saved her is a good or a bad one.

Until she heard the voice…

"Can't believe you put yourself in such a mess that I had to save you. I'm disappointed in you"

"If cases like these happened in future, I will kill you myself instead of a monster"

The voice was clearly of khan's, who had his army of red souls behinds him walking along.

Seeing someone to rescue her, Nari took a sigh of relief and give a thanks to God for sending down someone to save her.

Thank God… God has listened to me…

Finally tears came in her eyes, made everything blurry. Unexpectedly, Nari fall to the ground and fade out.

"She really can't hold to much energy release from the surrounding"

The reason for her fading suddenly being the cause of release of heavy amount of energy.

She remained conscious most of the time was due to being unburdened by any sort of energy. What so ever, when the monster appeared. She was still able to endure the energy that was being emitted out by the monster.

But when khan arrived the energy he emitted was massive and much more vigorous causing her to fainted out.

"Take her out of this dungeon" commanding one of the red souls, who obediently followed.

"And for you…"

Giving a dead glare at the monster. "I will give you a painless death"

While the monster kept on muttering to himself same words. "Noo… killing… humans…"
