7. Aegis - 1

Axel tried to extract more information from William and Matthew but they were tight-lipped and didn't cooperate with him. They passed out in minutes from the pain, Axel just sighed inwardly and started to thinking about what to do with them.

(Should I kill them? But that would attarct the cops and the media. I don't want to be a killer.)

As he was considering his next course of action, a loud noise could be heard,

*Vroom*

(It's a car, are they already here? I have to hide now.)

Axe already prepared a container of his size in advance thinking of this possibility, he placed among many containers of the same parameters, he positioned it in such a way that he can hear and see everything happening out through a small hole.

(I have to be Quick)

According to the original plan, he hid in the container safely and quietly. After a while, he heard the sound of footsteps and an angry roar,

"What are you bloody fuckers doing? Do you know how serious young miss is, don't you? How can you leave him with those dogs of Macklin and Han-Gyeol? Pray that he's safe or else it will be the end of you."

"Yes, sir!"

"Please forgive us, sir"

There were three people, one seems to be in a higher position than the rest. His voice was loud and fierce like a lion and he was angry. But what caught Axel's attention the most was,

(Young miss? Who is this young miss? William and Matthew talked about her too. Apparently, she is the reason their boss wanted to kill me.)

Axel saw through the hole that these three people approached unconscious William and Matthew, two of the three were wearing the same clothes as William and Matthew indicating that they are employees of Blaze, but the last one was wearing a brown suit with the Blaze logo on it, he has a large, muscular body and distinctive brown hair, he had deep black eyes; he looked like a typical rich man, while his subordinates looked weak and skinny. One of the two subordinates approached William and Matthew to check their condition and the other one went into the car to check for clues,

"Ugh..what a mess"

One of the two people who came forward to look at the condition of the William and Matthew frowned looking at their injuries and was a bit disgusted by the way their appearance,

"Boss, they are badly injured it will take a lot of time for them to recover, it looks like the kid got some strength"

Hearing his subordinate's praise, the brown-haired man's mouth curved up a little bit, he laughed heartily; the subordinate who went to inspect the car came back and said with a smile,

"As expected of a man young miss chose, these two are not experienced in doing these things but thet are strong, they could have killed him easily but he used his wits and intellect to survive."

"Most of the IT guys are weak, but this kid is different"

The brown-haired man finally stopped laughing and he turned his head in the direction of Axel's container and smirked, he made a short bow and briefly introduced himself,

"Nice to meet you, young master Axel Belurian. My name is Havets Krigare, I am here to take you home."(Havets)

Axel was sweating bullets,

*gulp*

(Damn, they caught me!)

Axel took a deep breath and braced himself for the worst.

(Let's see, those two subordinates look weak. I can escape by taking one of them hostage but it is risky.)

Axel didn't dare to believing that those two guys are weak because of his intuition. Apart from the two guys in black, the brown haired guy has a intimidating presence despite his gentle smile, Axel could feel some invisible pressure out of him. His intuition is telling him to scram out of here as soon as possible but he knew that it wouldn't help,

(Fuck it, I am already gonw through so much in this day alone, life or death I will give my all!)

Axel gritted his teeth and moved forward, for every step he took the pressure increased but he didn't stop, when he was about 3 steps away from Havets , he started to feel pain in his knees, joints and in various places all over the body but it only fueled his determination,

(What the fuck!?

Why is this happening to me?

I just want to be a employee in the Blaze, why do I have to face these deadly situations?)

Seeing the determined Axel, Havets smiled even more but seeing his smile something snapped in Axel as his face grew ugly.

(This bastard....)

When Axel was just a few inches before Havets, he clenched his fist and punched Havets with all his strength but what triggered him was that Havets didn't even shook a little from his attack, rather he looked quite delighted.

Axel repeatedly punched Havets on the face but he didn't flinch, soon Axel grown irritated he tried to pick up something near by, to hit him but Havets stopped him saying,

"Let's stop here, young master"(Havets)

Havets grabbed his wrist, Axel tried to shook him off but he couldn't, so he growled angrily pointing fingers at William and Matthew,

"Bastard!, first these guys tried to kill me and now you popped out of nowhere and started calling me young master, I just want to be an employee. Why do I have to go through this?"(Axel)

Facing with Axel's outburst Havets smiled and spoke calmly,

"Young master normally our employees don't have much difficulties but you are different."(Havets)

Axel inquired,

"Different?"(Axel)

"Because our young miss took an interest in you."(Havets)

Hearing Havets explanation, Axel's face twitched as he tried to punch him again but Havets caught his fist, Axel then said,

"Do you know how stupid this sounds? Who is your young miss? A whore ? Does she want me as a gigolo?"(Axel)

Havets's smiling face finally broke has  waves of pressure pushed down upon Axel as he crouched down and fell on his knees,

"Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!"

Then he heard Havets's voice,

"It would be better if young master use polite language while addressing miss."(Havets)

"Yes, young master you have to learn to be polite."

"If not, we will teach you politeness."

After Havets' declaration, his subordinates also warned him with serious faces, hearing them Axel laughed out loudly as he tried to get up against the pressure, he bled all over his body but he bit his lips as he looked into Havets's deep black eyes and said,

"I don't who she is but she managed to get herself good dogs."(Axel)

Facing Axel's provocation Havets's subordinates became angry but Havets stopped them, then he looked back at Axel as he took back his pressure. Then Axel's body suddenly became light and powerless and he fell down on his butt. Then he heard Havets speak,

"She is not really interested in you but more in what lies inside you."(Havets)

Axel got confused but before he could ask or curse him, Havets spoke again,

"It's Aegis!"(Havets)
