"You did an outstanding job, Mr. Axel"(Derek)

Axel just finished his Viva round with Derek and passed it with flying colors. Matthew and William were happy for Axel too.

Axel met up with them and started talking about his performance.

While Axel was conversing with Matthew and William,

Derek received a phone call, seeing the caller's name Derek frowned his eyebrows.

(Why is this bastard calling me now?)

Many thoughts were racing in his head but Derek confidently answered the phone.

"Hello, Mr. Macklin"(Derek)

Derek's frown deepened when he heard his voice without any trace of politeness but Derek had so much experience with people like him, so he didn't bother to waste his time and directly went on to the crux of the topic,

" Mr. Macklin, forget about it this time"(Derek)

"Why? He isn't talented enough?"

"No, he is indeed qualified but she is being very prudent in this case"

Hearing Macklin's sudden outbrust, Derek had a neutral expression on his face as he thought,

After Macklin has calmed down, he uttered coldly,

"Keep an eye on him, if he ever opposes us, eradicate him."

Hearing him Derek gritted his teeth and cursed him from the depths of his heart,

(This son of a bitch !!! how many times does he want me to endure? Is he the offspring a sow rather than a human? How can these guys be so inhumane?)

Fighting the impulse to yell and beat the crap out of him, Derek replied to Macklin,

After his brief discussion with Macklin, Derek turned to look at the teens, Matthew, William, and finally Axel and thought,

(It is a sin to be born as a chess piece.)

Derek looked at Axel who was chatting merrily with Matthew, William, and sighed,

(There will be a day when you'll regret coming here, Axel)

Derek saw that Axel was coming towards him with a confident smile,

"Mr. Petville, What happened?"

Derek kept staring at him without responding,

(It's just a hunch but maybe you are the one to put a stop to this madness)

When he noticed that Derek was not responding to him, Axel waved his hand in front of Derek's face, then Derek finally broke out of his stupor and put a professional smile,

"Sorry Mr. Axel."(Derek)

"It's okay Mr. Petville and about my-"(Axel)

Mr. Axel, Congratulations for passing the interview; you have now been hired as an official employee of Blaze industries. You will report to Mr. Bruno of Technologies department's R/D division with your resume on 15th of this month.

"It looks like you have received the message"(Derek)

Alex nodded to Derek but before Axel could rejoice, Derek put his hand on Axel's shoulder, leaned closer to him and whispered in his ear,

"The depth of the darkness to which you can descend and still live is the exact measure of the height which you can aspire to reach. Move in silence, speak only to say checkmate"(Derek)

Derek said something along the lines of warning and advice, which made Axel puzzled, but before he could say anything Derek moved away simply moved aside and Axel noticed Matthew and William coming towards him,

"Congrats, Mr.Axel"(Matthew)

"Congratulations, Mr. Axel"(William)

Matthew and William applauded Axel happily for which Axel grinned and remarked,

"Thank you, but excuse me for a minute here."(Axel)

"Ok, please take your time, meet us after you're done."(Matthew)

Axel proceeded to washroom, as he opened the door he heard some moans!?

"Ah..Ah..Ahhhh...there..more...give it to me..Ah"

He saw two teens having sex, they were so immersed in the deed that they didn't even notice someone barging in.

Axel coughed with embarrassment,

*Cough*

"Heee ee"

The teens were panicked, but before they could scream or anything, Axel just shut the door and announced loudly,

"Put on your clothes and leave"

After 15 minutes, Axel met up with Matthew and William. Matthew informed Axel,

"I will drop you off at the purple street bus stop from where you may board the bus to Old gen circle "(Matthew)

(Purple street?) Axel never heard of it before but it's not like he know entire New Gen city either, so he didn't turned them down and Axel also has some other plans,

"Thank you"(Axel)

Derek was the first to leave with the teens, followed by Axel and co.

Axel, Matthew and William drove to the purple street, while they were at it William noticed that Axel had a complicated expression on his face and inquired him,

"What happened Mr. Axel?"(William)

"Nothing, I'm tired"(Axel)

Matthew abruptly interjected saying,

"Oh, it has been a big day for you, we'd love to accompany you to your home but we have work to do.."(Matthew)

Matthew spoke sounding apologetic, for which Axel just shook his head and said,

"You guys are too nice to me, I am fortunate to meet to you"(Axel)

"No, it is our responsibility"(Matthew)

After that Axel stretched his hands and yawned, he rubbed his eyes saying,

"I want to sleep, can you wake me up after we've arrived?"(Axel)

"Of course"(William)

Axel noticed that, they seemed strangely happy when they heard that Axel wanted to sleep and thus Alex started his plan.
