Looking at the space gate, Nathan was genuinely astonished. Previously, he, at most, felt surprised at the luxury of the ancestor of the Hale family.

Nathan quickly recalled the information he knew about the Hale family but still found no indication of anything exceptional related to this family.

He helplessly signed as he gave up thinking.

It was not just Nathan who was deep in thought; Theodore also pondered seriously ever since he saw the space gate.

Theodore, who had recollected himself, looked at his teacher and the box. He pretended to be confused and asked, "Teacher, what is that?"

Nathan faintly stared at Theodore quietly before he replied, "This box is an exploration pack for checking and analyzing the situation beyond the space gate."

"A qualified explorer will not risk their life mindlessly by going into the unknown artificial realm without analyzing the dangers beforehand. The exploration pack can help with the basic inspection." Nathan added.

Theodore sweated slightly at Natahn's gaze but insisted on acting ignorant. He worriedly thought, 'Teacher will not notice anything about my behavior, will he?'

Seeing Theodore's performance, Nathan returned his gaze and looked at the space gate. As he prepared to demonstrate, he explained, "The exploration pack is easy to use; you can just lightly push it into the space gate."

Nathan used little force to shove the box part into the space gate gently and hold the connecting thread in his other hand.

He waited about five minutes before pulling the box out using the thread.

When the box came out of the space gate, Nathan did not touch it immediately. He used his sense to scrutinize and examine it carefully before touching it.

Nathan did not hold the box directly; he carried it using mana covering his hand.

Although encountering the opening of a space gate and an artificial realm was rare, he also discovered it occasionally during his travel throughout the continent.

He faced many unexpected situations with his experience of exploring the artificial realms. A slight carelessness could cause a person's life.

There were many cases of explorers dying right after entering an artificial realm for various reasons: poisonous air, triggering vicious attacks after getting in, or arriving at an extreme environment that was hard to survive.

If he were alone, Nathan would not have much concern; however, he was being extra careful with Theodore entering the artificial realm with him.

Theodore looked at his teacher's cautiousness, feeling speechless. At the same time, he felt his recklessness when he entered this realm without any preparation.

'Fortunately, the artificial realm of this mansion is not dangerous.' Theodore felt secretly relieved at his luck in the past; his exploration at that time was truly hasty compared with his teacher's operations.

Nathan sensed Theodore's gaze lingering on him, so he explained. "The exploration pack can show if there is a danger at the entrance of the artificial realm."

Nathan then described the information he got from the box one by one.

Theodore listened carefully beside his teacher. He thought, 'It was quite handy.'

There were many things that Nathan could find out from his exploration pack in a short time. One example was getting the box out of the space gate meant a person could enter and exit it freely.

Nathan also showed Theodore other details from the small devices in the pack and their response to the physical environment in the artificial realm.

Overall, this artificial realm was safe at the entrance; the environment was livable, and no traps were nearby. Moreover, if there were dangers later, they could safely retreat to the mansion via the space gate.

After explaining, Nathan kindly asked Theodore if his disciple had any questions, "Is there anything you don't understand?"

Theodore shook his head in response.

Assessing the risk of entering the artificial realm in his heart, Nathan asked, "In that case, how about we going in now? Are you ready?"

"I'm ready, teacher," Theodore replied. He had gone in before and knew there was no danger, so he was not worried.

The two weapons, the Impending Doom and the Misty Blade, also excitedly hummed as if they were shouting Go-Go-Go to encourage the exploration.

Seeing that everyone was ready, Nathan guided Theodore and the two weapons as they stepped into the space gate together.
