The World's Prejudice

'Whoosh'

The wind rushed over the tall blades of grass that covered a sparsely populated patch of land. The red ants, worked hard to pile more dirt atop their impossibly huge mound nearby.

The creaking of old oak trees could be heard from over yonder, the slender limbs straining to stay upright.

A cacophony of noises sounded from those limbs, whether it be from the birds, or the bugs inside. Inside a small hole in one of the trees, a mouse laid, slaughtered by a python that lived in the trees.

'Chirrup'

The sudden cry of a cricket sounded loudly, causing the land to silence instantly.

The sound of thunder could be heard coming from afar, dark clouds calling attention to the calamitous storm to come. However, there wasn't any lightning, causing a few of the animals to be confused.

Some others, with the knowledge of their ancestors, cowered in fear, terrified of the known phenomenon.

Had any other species seen such a sight, it'd be unknown how many would drop to their knees and pray. Yet strangely, despite the galactic storm, few noticed...

Senior Galactic Private Anderson : Daily Journal 340

Today was as usual, with the goods coming in and out. A few merchants of no merit came by with the intent to bribe. I put them into jail cell 2, under orders of captain. We don't accept bribes for smuggling. What we do accept is well known, and unfortunately they didn't realize that.

Anyways, upon distress signal on Barren Planet 340, Captain and others departed for said planet with intent to see what was going on. No one has gone to that planet since Baron was the only one of the crew to survive. According to Major Baron, there was a malfunction in the pod, which left signal B unusable. Signal B has been shown to be problematic, and so the government recalled all Space pod GDC series A.

Upon return, captain held a child covered in blood. The child looked to be weak, but cried as loud as a Manticore.

The child is now in IC, being checked out. Captain said Lieutenant Commander has rights to deal with the child.

I think something is up with Baron... He's been a little too quiet with the return of captain.

All of us think something is up...

Maybe things aren't so black and white as Baron thinks...

"The child is healthy as ever Cap." said the doctor smiling widely, "Bit cute innit?"

"Rather he..." Said Captain Xero, he frowned a bit,"You know that activists would have your head if they heard that."

"Meh, if they can kill me here, I'll have no regrets. What kinda civilian can even get in here? Haha!" The doctor then leaned in closely, a gossipy smirk formed, "So cap," he whispered, "Where did it come from? Eh?"

"HE came from a dead body." Xero replied softly, "He was born from a carcass... It also looked like the body was..." Xero trailed off, "I can't say."

"Oooh! Gossip abound!" Doc cried out folding his hands and twiddling his thumbs, "Tell me! I won't tell a soul I swear!" He blinked his eyes coyly, "Pretty please?"

"Ugh, fine," Xero sighed, his eyes lowering, trying to hide his embarrassment, "It looked like Nasaki." Xero added hastily, "But I could be wrong."

"Oh damn..." Doc flinched becoming serious, "Yeah, that's big news..."

"..."

"Anyways, wanna fuck?" Doc asked, reverting, "I know you wanna..."

"Shut up."

2 Hours Later

Commander Solomon came into the IC unit where the child was. He tapped the counter of the western style room, impatiently waiting for Doc to finish with his business...

'Ding'

The light went on, allowing Solomon to hurry inside the nursery. There, the boy could be seen with a wet nurse...

"Yeah, he needs milk." Solomon thought to himself, "Thus he's human..."

"So Commander," A voice from the side called, "Whatcha gonna name the kid? Also what will we do with him?"

"Ah Grundy, you always have a habit of popping up out of nowhere." Solomon sighed as he saw the blue haired loli nearby, "I don't really care to name him, but I'll name him soon. Rather, why are you here?"

"Ah, avoiding the question Commander... Skillfully done." Grundy said, twirling her hair, her blue eyes stared at Solomon, "Well... I was thinking I could take him to-"

"No. He's a human." Solomon interrupted, his eyes hardened, "We don't need the GALPOL on our tails for no reason."

"Aww come on Solly! It'll be fun!" Grundy cried, "I wanna-"

"No." Solomon cut, "No means no."

"Aww okay." Grundy said grumpily, "Well I guess we should give him to a human family then. Maybe a strong family so we can see how strong he can become."

Grundy's eyes lit up at the thought, she started shivering in excitement, "Then when he grows up I can fight him!" Her legs squirmed at the thought.

"Fine." Solomon said sharply, "His name is Prost in that case. Give him a family with the last name Copil. Do make sure that Baron doesn't find out. Or else he may do something he'll regret..."

"Aww commander!" Grundy whined, "I wanna take care of him! Don't be so mean to him either!"

"I'm not dealing with an angry Baron. You can choose to leave..."

"FINE." Grundy shouted, "Bully!"

Solomon sighed, "Okay, I'll start the process. You can leave with him."

"Humph."
