"It's simple, I'll make it rain in this mutt village."

Ryusuke spoke with an arrogant and confident smile.

"But how do you intend to do that? No, before that..." Yae Sakura spoke with some caution as she placed her little sister behind her back.

*sigh* "Sakura-san are you really going to ask me to spare these mongrel? Those same mongrel that tried to kill your sister just now?" Ryusuke asked with dissatisfaction and contempt to Yae Sakura.

Yae Sakura was silent for a few seconds before speaking hesitantly.

"Please...spare them your wrath." Yae Sakura spoke as she looked away as if she had done something wrong. She hates them herself and wants them to suffer in hell, but she doesn't want to give in to the hatred and give herself to Herrscher. She doesn't want to disappoint Kallen and Rin.

Ryusuke let out a sigh upon hearing Yae Sakura's reply. Although he already expected this kind of response from her, he was still a little displeased by her response.

Ryusuke snapped his fingers and stopped using his Herrscher of Binding powers. The village adults no longer felt the weakening of energy in them.

Ryusuke used the Herrscher of Binding's powers as little as possible for two reasons. The first reason is because whenever he uses his powers it will increase the weakening of the black cube seal. As for the second reason, it's that besides Yae Sakura, all the other people there were NPCs created from Honkai energy based on Yae Sakura's memories, if Ryusuke increased the power of the energy weakening just a little more then those villagers would have been disintegrated, and if that happened then it would be very difficult to get a cooperation with Yae Sakura.

The villagers breathe a sigh of relief that the choking sensation has disappeared and rise from the ground. Some of them I'm looking at Ryusuke with fear.

"Bunch of mongrel... do you know why you received such a tiny punishment?" Ryusuke turned his face towards the villagers and asked. His eyes still had the red glow, Ryusuke didn't hide his contempt and arrogance in his gaze, there was also a bit of annoyance.

"What do you mean by that?" The village chief asked a little hesitantly as he gulped.

"My name is Aikawa Ryusuke. I was sent to this pigsty you call a village just to carry out the orders I received from my God, which is to end the drought that is ravaging this region. But what I heard when I went saving them was something that touched my heart deeply..." Ryusuke spoke without an ounce of emotion, but his shoulders were shaking.

Ryusuke turned to face the villagers, he had a completely enraged expression.

""YOU FILTHY MONGREL WERE TRYING TO OFFER ME IN AN IMPORTANT SACRIFICE RITUAL, IE, YOU WERE TRYING TO KILL ME... I WHO AM A MESSENGER OF GOD. YOU TEMPT TO BLASPHEM AGAINST GOD!!!"

Ryusuke let out a furious scream towards the villagers. He didn't use any supernatural power in his voice but even so it put a huge strain on them.

"Please forgive us..."

"Have mercy on us..."

"This...this was all the village chief's idea. I wasn't involved in it..."

The villagers immediately took a dogeza pose when they realized their crimes. They were totally convinced that Ryusuke was a messenger from God. The villagers started to apologize and ask for mercy without a shred of shame, there were some who put all the blame on the village head to try to escape any possible punishment.

'Hehe, my acting skills are really Oscar-worthy.' Ryusuke thought triumphantly as he saw that everything was going as planned.

'What are you going to do next?' Ryusuke thought as he looked at Yae Sakura who was gaping at all the happenings now.

For all these centuries she's never been able to get these damn villagers to change their minds about sacrifice, and now they're kneeling pathetically before a child who never appeared in previous cycles.

"Sakura-san, what do you have to say? What do you want me to do with these mongrel?" Ryusuke asked Yae Sakura.
