Hiccup

"I am from a small town," he said. "I discovered I was talented in Aura so I went to Eldridge. From there, I found out about the Phoenix Trials. And I met you on the way there."

His smile concealed all the details of his life that he omitted. The story he told seemed so simple, downplaying how bizarre it was.

"You are indeed, very talented in Aura. I hope you win the trials," Mira said.

The minute she said that Leo heard a snicker from one of the tables close to them. He looked up to see a group of 5 teenagers. The person snickering was a girl who seemed to be eavesdropping on their conversation. The rest of the group, two girls and two boys, were looking at her with a confused expression.

The rest of the teenagers didn't know that their companion was eavesdropping on Leo and Mira's conversation. 

"What's so funny, Sia?" The boy sitting next to her asked.
