Guess Who's Back

Fred Clover is standing before a bus, contemplating his life choices right now. He really doesn't like these air polluting vehicles, but right now he doesn't have much of a choice.

Fred Clover: I really hate this... But I still have to do it. (Fred says as he nervously enters the bus, taking an empty seat)... (Sighs) If only I still had my bike, I wouldn't have to ride in this godforsaken contraption. (Fred said in sadness)

Just then the teacher's phone begins to ring, so he quickly picks up the call.

Fred Clover: Hello Principal Walters... Yes I'm on my way now... I won't be late I promise. (Fred tells her over the phone)

"Don't disappoint me, Fred. You're one of our best hires, but I won't hesitate to get you fired if you ever step out of line... Do I make myself clear? (Susie Walters asks him, making this call from her office)

Fred Clover: Crystal. (Fred said before he hung up the phone)... I can't lose this job. I have to make this right. (Fred thought determinately, the bus begining to move)

Meanwhile at Pride High School, Toby Robinson is staring at the system's screen, disappointed with the slow progress of the upgrade.

Toby Robinson: How long is this stupid thing going to take?! (Toby thought in anger, standing before his locker)

Todd Forager: Earth to, Toby! Earth to, Toby! (Todd calls out to his friend, waving a hand to get his attention)

Toby Robinson: Huh, what is it?! (Toby asks in surprise, snapping back to reality)

Todd Forager: You're too distracted lately, Toby. Is something wrong? You know you can tell me, right? (Todd sincerely asks him)

Toby thinks about this for a moment, contemplating if he was going to tell Todd the truth, or make up a lie.

Toby Robinson: (Sighs) Okay, I'll tell you the truth... I have superpowers, I can enter the land of dreams, and tame the beings that dwell in them. This power was granted to me by the Dream System, a mysterious AI thing that gives me all kinds of skills and abilities. That's the real truth. (Toby confesses)

Todd Forager: Wow, just, wow. If you didn't want to tell me, then you should have just said so! Instead of making up all this garbage about a system and dream powers! (Todd said in anger)

Toby Robinson: I'm not making this up, it's all true! (Toby insisted)

Todd Forager: You're a liar, Toby Robinson! And a bad one at that! (Todd yells at him, getting the attention of several passerbys)

Toby Robinson: Nah, that wouldn't happen. Todd would never do something like that, but I still can't tell him the truth. He really might not get it. (Toby thought to himself, a little sad about that)... I'm fine, Todd. You don't have to worry about me, I'm just thinking about all the comics and novels I'm gonna buy at lenny's! (Toby said excitedly, trying to divert the conversation)

Todd Forager: Oh, Okay. You just seem different, that's why I was starting to get worried about you. (Todd explains)

Toby Robinson: You worry too much, Todd. I'm perfectly fine... Wait a minute, I completely forgot! How are things going with Darasimi? (Toby whispered that last part)

Todd Forager: (Sighs) Same old, same old. I think she only sees me as a friend, she has no romantic feelings towards me at all. (Todd sadly admits)

Toby Robinson: You giving up on her, Bro? Because it sounds like you're throwing in the towel. (Toby asks him)

Todd Forager: Heck no! I will only give her some space, but I'll never stop trying to win her heart. (Todd said with conviction in his words)

Toby Robinson: Good man, now let's get to class. (Toby says before he and Todd head towards their classroom, responding to the ringing of the bell)

Now in class, Toby is waiting for the teacher to arrive, just like everyone else. The next subject is biology, so naturally everyone is in a bad mood.

Lerange Smith: Wake me when the class is over. (Lerange says as he rests his head on his desk, getting ready to take a nap)

Tiffany Hathaway: Ugh, I really hate Mr Buscemi's classes, when is Mr Clover coming back! (Tiffany complains)

Lerange Smith: Maybe we should all go check on him after school. (Lerange suggested)

"That won't be necessary." (A voice said from outside the classroom)... I'm back everyone. (Fred says as he enters the classroom, smiling at all of his students)

"Mr Clover!" (Everyone yells as they all rush to welcome their teacher, everyone, except one)

Toby Robinson: What the heck... (Toby says in fear, his glowing blue eyes catching a glimpse of a shadowy figure)... Is that? (Toby mutters as he stares in horror at the monster that has his favourite teacher in it's grasp)
