New Project

Roy was totally scared to his core right now.

If the two God-like beings what said was true then Nethan's end is going be pitiful and Earth is gonna get destroyed as well. Just thinking about what would happen in the future was sending shivers down his spine.

"Nethan did you really have to be so impertinent with them?!

You do realize that if what they said is true then don't you know it's gonna be worse for you then the other people. They are just gonna die but you have to be tortured for eternity, I don't want to believe what they had said but the proof is in front of us.

Now we can't do anything to appease them by any means."

Hearing Roy's logical words Nethan nodded.

"What you said is true. If they regain their said strength back, they will destroy earth and torture me for eternity. I don't believe they can't do that.

But don't you think we also have the power to suppress them?! You alone have managed to restrain what they called a supreme artifact.

Then don't you think if you have the support of all of humankind and assist of many geniuses,

we can suppress them completely!!"

"Yes, we can but we need to go through countless researches which will take decades if not centuries. which is way beyond the human lifespan and do you think the letter generation will bear with it as much as we will, they might just sold you out for the sake of their survival which is absolutely logical."

" I understand but we can discuss more about it later. First I will make a project regarding this which will have the highest tier confidentiality and make sure that nothing regarding it gets leaked.

You get some rest and try to process everything that happened in the chamber. I will contact you later and also you should try to act normal!"

Saying that Nethan left. After a while Roy also went to his room and began to think about his future course of action.

Nethan went directly to Nill's office where he was surprised to see Moon. Moon was not wearing her regular Office suit instead wore a red dress.

Nethan didn't think much about it and went directly to talk with Nill, completely ignoring Moon.

Although a bit hurt by Nethan's action, Moon couldn't say anything.

As Nethan entered the room, Nill offered a seat to Nethan after which they started their conversation.

" I am here to confirm the creation of a project

Me and Mr Roy has created. The projects name and all its objectives will be classified.

I want it to have the highest tier of confidentiality."

Nill was taken aback by Nethan's sudden creation of a project which requires such confidentiality.

Although he wanted to know more about this project, he knew Nethan wouldn't tell him anything.

As if Nethan could read his mind,

he gave a answer to Nill's unspoken questions.

"Don't worry. Although I can't tell you much about it, I can at least confirm that this project is for the survival of the humankind."

Hearing it Nill didn't say anything much and worked with Nethan for the next hour to do paperwork about the project and some other minuscule things.

As Nethan was about to leave after finishing all his work with Nill, Moon called out to him.

" I would like to with you alone for a minute if you have some free time."

Hearing Moon's request, Nethan nodded.

"Come to my room after half an hour."

Saying that to Moon, Nethan left and Moon was also happy to know that there may still be some chance to restore their relationship.

Half an hour later Moon came in front of Nethan's room and knocked on his door.

The next moment Nethan's voice came out.

"Come in."

Moon entered Nethan's room and saw Nethan writing something on his study table.

People still used paper because it can't be hacked unlike other digital options. So big organisations still used paper to store important informations.

Nethan still kept working as he said to Moon to take a seat.

After Moon sat down she hesitatingly started the conversation.

" I want to say many things but first I would like to apologize to you. Please forgive me for keeping you in the dark about all of this!"

Moon earnestly asked for forgiveness from Nethan.

But hearing her apology, Nethan coldly snorted.

"Why are you putting it like that??!! You didn't just keep me in the dark! You deceived me. When I was traumatized by my parents death I worked hard to find the cause and when I find out about all of this I was afraid that my loved ones may also get killed.

Do you know how much I cared for you?! I was thinking everyday and every moment if they had found out about me. I was thinking will they only kill me or kill my friends and my remaining family as well. After I got into a relationship with you I was still thinking about how to avert the situation if they come to you!! Even when you learned about my parents death and my state you didn't even mention it. You kept shut about all of this even after learning about my mental state!!

Don't you think I at least have the right to hold a grudge a against you??"

"You have every right to hold grudge against me!

But I was compelled by the situation. If my father or the guards of mine came to know that, you knew about 'Anthropos' or about anything related to 'Anthropos' your life could be in danger and I couldn't risk it. So whenever I saw your depressed face I wanted to tell you all about it but I still couldn't.

Do you know how much it pained me to see you like that!! I had to spent a great amount of my will power just to restrain myself from telling you all about it. I really am sorry for this and I am confessing that I also hold responsibilities but

will you please forgive me??!! I really didn't do this on purpose!!"

Hearing Moon's explanation Nethan understood what happened but there was still a question he had.

"Then why did you acted like you didn't knew me when I was abducted here?"

Moon was embarrassed after listening to that question. Her voice was so weak that it seemed like she was just moving her lips.

" I thought you will not recognise me if I change my outfit and getup."

"What are you saying so meekly?! Speak louder.

Gosh you weren't this meek even after our first night!"

Moon was more embarrassed now. And with her nervousness and embarrassment she started stuttering.

" I- I thought you wouldn't rec- recognise me if I cha- changed my getup and out- outfit."

After comprehending what she said just now Nethan was speechless for a moment and looked at Moon as if he was looking at the greatest idiot of all time.

"How dumb do you think I am??!! I know your body like the back of my hand, how stupid were you when you were thinking about doing that??!"

Moon was so embarrassed now that her face was more red than a tomato. Still she mustered up her courage against that to ask a single question.

"So will you forgive US?"

Nethan was about to say he needed some time, but when he noticed the problem within that question his first thought was if Moon was saying it because of her nervousness but when another thought occurred to him he almost fainted.

"Wh - what do mean 'US' ."

"It means what it means. I am pregnant." Moon said why her face was still red from shyness and embarrassment.

When Nethan heard it, he was so surprised and happy that he fell on his bum.

"You are not deceiving me right now, are you?"

What Nethan meant was if she was lying about her pregnancy but Moon took this question another way as if asking her if this was his child.

So when Moon guessed the wrong meaning, she was fuming with anger discontentment.

She was about to help Nethan stand up instead she slapped him hard and started going for the door.

Although first puzzled it didn't take long for Nethan to understand that Moon must have guessed the question wrong.

As Moon was about to leave Nethan hugged Moon from behind.

"Unhand me, you shitting asshole. I know it was my fault for not telling you about all this but you didn't had to suspect me of such a despicable thing."

" You took the question in the wrong direction.

I obviously didn't think of such a think. What I asked was if you really were pregnant!!"

"Why I shouldn't be pregnant??!!

You had done it with me at least two times almost everyday without protection. Even if I was infertile I would still get pregnant from that amount

You beast!!"

"Okay okay I accept my wrong doing just now.

So please forgive me and I will forgive you!!

please honey!!"

Hearing it Moon finally calmed down and sat in front of Nethan. And again asked for forgiveness.

"I am sorry. I really am but I didn't had any choice.

So please don't hold any grudge against me anymore. PLEASE!!"

" I am sorry too. I was just overtaken by my sorrow because of how you deceived me. But let's put that behind and start planning our family shall we?!"

"Okay honey!"

Nethan's biggest obsession was knowledge and after that was his love for his family. Which is why he took so much effort to unravel his parents murder. And now that He got to have his own family, he was determined to protect it no matter how.

"Moon do you want our marriage to be here in 'Anthropos' or do you want it to be outside with all our friends?"

"Why not both? We will have our marriage outside and a small ceremony here!"

"Great idea. Then you can ask you father to make the preparations and I will invite all our friends."

"Okay I will get to it now."

After moon left the room after kissing Nethan passionately, Nethan again sat on his study table and wrote down one sentence and closed the file.
