Black Vice
As Jin-Ho froze for a second to take in what just happened, he began to feel lightheaded. He stepped back only to hit his back against the concrete wall that worked as a railing to eventually falling down in a sitting position while leaning against the wall. Jin-Ho’s vision began to get hazy as a burning sensation covered the area of the stab wound and his breathing began to get more and more ragged with every breath. He looked up at Sang-Kyu as he focused on his vision enough to get rid of some of the haziness and clearly see Sang-Kyu's solemn expression. "...So, they did offer you something else?"
Sang-Kyu nodded his head. "Yeah...They did." Jin-Ho scoffed as he titled his head upwards to gaze up at the sky. "So what is it? Clearly it has to be big for you to betray me. Perhaps a position?" Jin-Ho could see his fists clenched tightly. "Maybe, maybe not. You will know in due time because from this point forward...We are enemies."

Kim Jin-Ho unexpectedly becomes the Mafia Boss not long after his return to Korea, which leaves him in a bind. He must now maintain his composure as the new Boss whilst dealing with the scheming Yakuza, the masked Sorcom Syndicate, the corrupt Italian Mob, and more threats to his Organization that are to come. But that’s not all, his morals are put to the test as he must deal with betrayal, friends, foes, and others with underlying intentions.

This part is basically to let you know of things you should expect and should probably know before reading Black Vice.
1: At the top of some chapters you will see lines that have *1:, *2:,*3:, etc. These are what you would call the "Key Word List." When you read a chapter and you come across a word that has "*" next to it then that word will be in the Key Word List. The words that appear on this list will usually be words that a lot of people might not exactly be familiar with and might need a short explanation/context on it. The way words are listed will also be in order so the first word and second word that have "*" next to it will be in order so there's no need to take a guess at which one it is.
2: This book will contain Italian. When Italian does appear, the translation will either be right above or below it in parentheses.
