The banquet

"How dare he?" both Nivia and Rebecca shouted simultaneously watching the scene, where Prince June warned them. Looking at this, he could only sigh, and said, "Calm down ladies. We must not…." but before he could even complete his sentence, Rebecca started shaking him, and said, "and why don't you do anything about that? You could have yelled at him, or something?"

He don't know what to say, so the only thing he could do is wait. After everyone calmed down, Nivia said, "We must have our revenge."

"Yeah, but how?" Rebecca said, when she suddenly clapped her hand and said, "Oh, soon the banquet of Elite section will be commenced right?"

Hearing her, other two nodded, she said, "That's great. We just have to polish some of his skills like dancing, etiquettes…." she explained all the plans.

About two day later, at night, Richard walked out of his apartment, only to saw a lady waiting in red gown which complements her blonde hair, and crimson eyes. He said, "Lady Erza, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I was waiting for you, can't it be more clear than this, isn't it", she asked the warden, who was beside them. After greetings they left for the banquet.

"Richard, please ignore Prince June and his co as much as possible, even though academy tells that there aren't nobility in the academy, they just don't wanna adapt the new environment they have. They have superiority complex, so…." Erza tried to explain. Hearing all these, he asked, "Why are talking for them, Erza?"

Hearing his question, she failed embarrassed, and chose to be quiet. Soon they entered the ballroom, which is already very lively. Looking around, Erza introduced him to the several classmates, as well as some 'nobility', like Princess Elizabeth, Princess Charlotte, Prince Huge, etc.

After looking around, he decided to walk out. In the garden, when he was looking at the moon, a voice come from behind, "Oh, isn't it the our Hero Richard." He looked at the source of voice, who is another boy of same age as him, with blue eyes, and a little taller and burly.

"Annoying", he muttered, and left the garden. When he entered the hall, he tilted his head, and a stone passed through him, hitting the pillar beside him. He looked at the stone, but still chose to ignore it, when a voice rang in the hall, "Student Richard, I Brian O'Vaicel is inviting you for a duel."

Hearing this, Richard turned around, looked at the boy in front of him, and said, "I refuse."

"Huh", everyone in the hall exclaimed. Hearing his answer, however, Brian said, "Why are you afraid?"

But instead of looking at him, he walked towards the food corner, and said, "Because I am hungry", and took the food. Hearing his answer, silence engulfed the hall. After picking vegetables, he walked to next stall, but the previous one is shattered, by the sword strike. Richard casually walked towards the next stall, but Brian sweep his sword, after dodging it, Richard kicked Brian and took food from next stall.

After a series of similar events, when Richard took food from last stop, Brian reinforce himself with aura, and chose to attack, but before he could do anything he felt a little breeze near his neck, which swept away all the aura, he saw a small fork in the pillar, and cold eyes of Richard, gulping down, he fall. His legs become soft.

"That was uh something" one of the students said, followed by a series of clap. Looking at the stalls, everyone sighed, soon the caterer appeared and restored everything, while guards dragged Brian away.

In the hall, some where looking at Richard with anger, some with admiration, and some were gauzing his power.

On the second floors, Warden of all the residential buildings of different sections enjoyed the show. One of them said, "He have good foundation, it look like he is trained from childhood, William, are you sure he is an orphan?"

"Hey William, why don't you send him to Warrior academy, you have seen his performance right?"

However William remained quiet and looked at Richard, with a smile. He become famous, and several students approached him, while Erza was along with him. Looking at them, he could only sigh.

At the banquet of Mage academy,

Outside the ballroom, Erza said, "Remember, what I told you; this time they may tried to trouble you once again, so be cautious."

"Why are you so good to me, Erza?" Richard asked, but before he could get answer, the door opened, and they walked inside. Several students flocked towards them, some where from the last banquet, while some are from other sections.

While walking, he spotted Jeanne among her friends who is enjoying her dishes. The banquet goes by smoothly, when a student with blue hair approached the center, and suggested a competition in several fields like poetry, wine tasting etc. for the students of elite section.

Most of the students are resistant to it, but Prince June along with his friends manage to convince everyone. Soon the competition started, with the chess. But rule is changes slightly to make it end in an hour.

Richard is appointed to fight against a student in Red hair, named Nicholas, who always lives along with Prince June.

On the seat, while making his move, Nicholas said, "It seems you have some talent, otherwise…"

"Will you stop these silly actions of yours because of an imaginary sense of superiority you have", Richard asked, while eliminating the piece. "'Imaginary sense of superiority', its not something an orphan like you could think about. Do you know the difference between us…"

However Richard remains silent and after few minutes, he said, "Checkmate."

Looking at the board, Nicholas shouted, "You must have cheated."

"And how did I do that?" Richard asked emotionlessly, hearing this, Nicholas tried to slap him, out of his habit.

*Crack* "I am not some kind of slave under you, if you tried to attack me once again, then the hand will not be on your body", Richard warned, before leaving, the ballroom in anger, while his cold eyes scanned the people around him, and stopped at Prince June, who took a step back when there eyes met.

June looked at his leg in confusion, 'Did I just felt terrified? It seems I have an interesting classmate', he thought and looked amused by all this.
