1 A simple man, an idiot, and a Goddess

"My name is Author just Author, I live a simple but schedule life, I get up early in the morning, every four-o-clock to do daily exercised till five, take a shower at six, get ready for work at six thirty, eat breakfast at seven, leave my simple but humble apartment complex at seven thirty, and reach St. Cathrines academy high which is an all-girl school, you see I work as the head security for that school of delinquent girls."

Spoke a rather tall man who was at least 6'5, he wore a standard security guard uniform, the only difference was the fact that upon his head was a brown paper bag that covered his entire face, with only a single hole which reveal an intimating purple eye.

This man was of course the main character Author, who was walking the same route he takes for work every single day, he had his lunch kit in his left hand and small book in his right, which was title "One hundred ways to discipline the undiscipline" Author was reading a book on how he can discipline unruly individuals.

He works at school that was filled with delinquent girls, and as the head security and also the leader of the discipline community, it was his job to not only protect the school but also knock some sense into these undiscipline and unruly delinquent girls.

He was fairly muscular but his strength could only be considered abnormal, Author was walking while keeping a serious look on everything around him.

He almost reaches his work, but he has developed a habit to never let his guard down, proof of this was when he heard the quiet foot step of someone crawling behind him, preparing to attack him from behind.

But as the attacker did that, he dodge and gave the person a strong drop kick to the skull, all that was heard was a horrendous sound of bones hitting each other and a pain filled scream of a girl.

"Ouch! ouch! ouch! were you trying to kill me?" Shouted a girl who was dress in a full white school uniform, that was short, if anything it was too short, she had grey hair that was really straight and reach her neck, her eyes were emerald green, and she had an x-shape scar one her forehead, her skin was tan and she had a black jacket tied around her waist.

This girl name was Jada, she was a student at the academy, and the person who annoys him the most, he doesn't know why but the woman constantly pesters him while he working.

Jada looks at author as she said with clear anger in her voice.

"Your merciless as always don't you have any consideration for a student much less a delicate flower such as myself you big meani."

Author look towards Jada for a split second as he looks back to his book and spoke.

"For one that was clear self-defense, for two your more poisonous than delicate, and lastly I am a firm believer of gender equality."

"Agh! your so mean I just want to embrace you from behind."

"Embrace your school work, trust me you need it."

"Are you implying that I'm dumb."

"No... you are dumb, no one is capable of repeating thrice and do worser every year on your final year, I'm just helping you by stating the obvious fact that you should seek help, instead of always pestering me when I'm working, as a matter of fact, you have two hours detention after classes this evening."

"Eghhhh! for what reason!?"

Shouted Jada with eminent frustration to Author sudden statement.

"Firstly, you attack me from behind, secondly, you're violating the dress code for the umpteen time already even after I warned you so many times, thirdly you ran off from detention yesterday as soon as I went to the bank to collect my pay."

"Honestly, you're on detention every day, it amazes me that you been on it for 135 days straight."

"Because you keep putting me on it every single day."

"I wouldn't have to do that if you aren't misbehaving every step of the way each and every day."

"Egh... but I just want to be close to you... come on men cut some slack here."

"I see... how foolish of me."

Said Author as he closed his book, meanwhile Jada was actually smiling since Author was actually listening to her for once, but the next word he said break her.

"Two hours isn't enough, so make it four."

--Drop--

The sound of someone dropping to the floor in despair could be heard as Jada said with slight tears in her eyes.

"Why are so mean, you know just as much as me that my curfew is six."

"Not my problem."

"Ha... augh... I don't get why your so mean, well whatever I guess, sigh moms going to kill me."

"Great now that's over with, you should probably hurry up, the bell is about to ring you don't want me to extend your detention hours right."

Upon those word Jada looks at her phone and saw that it was 7:55, she looks back at Author as she bows and apologized while saying.

"I didn't even realize it was this late, I will talk to you later Author I have to go."

Jada then began to run cross the street, as the school gate was literally right cross the street, but she suddenly felt a pushing sensation, and when she fell to the ground and saw Author who was moments away from been run over by a speeding truck.

Her face had a clear horror, shocked, and surprised on it, as the last words she heard him say was.

"Stupid girl, who the hell run cross the street without looking left or right, honestly seek help."

--Bam--

The sound of a speeding truck could be heard as it completely destroys Author instantly killing him on the spot blood was everywhere.

Somewhere far, far away from Earth, the sound a someone snoring could be heard till a popping sound went off

--pop--

The sound of someone snoring bubble could be heard popping which instantly made the person who was sleeping to rise up as he instantly looks around him.

Of course, this person was no other than Author who suddenly wake up in a mysterious place and when he began to look around, he was slightly shocked, because as far as the eyes can see there was nothing but black roses in every direction.

The sky was red while the clouds where black, there was a rather ominous looking crescent moon with a rather creepy face on it, as it was surrounded with many eyes that were all yellow and draconic in nature.

Author then get up from his current position and began walking, as he asks himself.

"Is this the underworld, I know I was going to hell, but this place lack suffering, their no demons, nor are there any reapers much less judges, and why the hell would the underworld have any form of flower in it honestly I'm disappointed."

But just as I began speaking to myself, I heard the voice of a rather Melancholic woman, I paused in fear simply because the voice alone gives one the feeling of been watch by death itself, as the voice said to me.

"Of course, this isn't hell, but I find it awfully disturbing that you even acknowledge the fact that the first places you were going to end up after your death was hell, much less the fact that you're taking your death as nothing more than a meh! how interesting."

I paused at those words, normally I am simple existence, I don't lament on the past, what happen earlier just happen, it cannot be reverse nor erase, what done was done, it's better to focus on what lies ahead instead of the things that are left behind.

I couldn't do anything about my previous actions that cause my death and lead me to my inventible end, after all, before I even notice what I had done it was already too late, my body move on its own, the kid was annoying to the bitter end.

But to die at such a young age would be such a waste, I have lived a decent and simple forty years of my life anyways.

"That was indeed very noble of you, because of you that girl lived a decent life, although plagued by guilt most of her life, she was able to move on, settled down got married and have 4 children, and 8 grandchildren, she died a peaceful death with her family by her side at the age 73, so yeah! your sacrifice wasn't in vain Author."

Her word rang in my head as clear as day, I try to look around to see where it was coming from, but to no avail I couldn't find a definite source if anything the voice was coming from everywhere instead of single location.

I might be dead, but I am still a cautious person, I haven't said nor have I spoken to anyone in this place, yet this mysterious woman was invading my thoughts, so I did what anyone would do in a situation like this, as I ask a question that I had on my mind.

"Who?... no what the hell are you, how are you reading my mind?"

"Mhm... straight to the point I see, very well then let me introduce myself, my name Shalvaveesha Primordial Goddess of death, rank 8th of 20th empyrean power that govern this world, and you Author is the person I have chosen to be my right hand."
