41 Awakening

Dan chomped down on another piece of leaf and gulped it down after chewing for a few seconds.

"Mana gained. Which attributes would you like to enhance? "Lang asked the same question that Dan had heard multiple times in the last few hours.

It was deep in the night and almost pitch-black in the tree hollow that Dan was sitting inside. It was an ominous time and place to be.

Howls and growls of different beasts reverberated in the dark forest. But Dan wasn't affected by it. He was hyper-focused on the task that he was doing at the moment. Eating leaf.

"Put it in strength. "Dan said and that feeling returned. But it wasn't as strong as it used to be.

"Ding, Your strength has increased by 0.1"

The usual notification came and Dan paused his eating. He had already lost count of how many pieces of leaf that he had eaten.

The full-sized leaf beside him was not even ten per cent of its original size now. Dan had nearly finished a whole leaf.
