Chapter 3
Nakano bows before lady tamayo, she slightly bends her knees and bows her head lady tamayo.
" I greet my lady." nakano says her voice filled with respect. Lady tamayo nods back.
" How is he?." Lady tamayo asks her.
She straigthens her leg and raises her head, swiftly folding her fan with a flick.
" He has completely recovered, there isn't a single trace of the grim left in his body any longer it's like it just vanished into thin air." Nakano replies.
" That should've been impossible, even powerful cultivators would lose to the grim without assistance, but to survive without ki and assistance is simply unheard of." Lady tamayo responds.
" You really shouldn't be surprised, he is his fathers son afterall." Nakano calmy replies.
" Sometimes i feel like this is all just all just a dream, a sick joke destiny is playing waiting to snatch him if i get to happy." Lady tamayo absentmindedly says, getting lost in her thoughts her face looking distant.
The lady has really lost alot of weight, this pass years hasn't been good to her. First she loses her companion for life and then she immediately gets forced to watch her son fight for his life. A battle that was as good as lost, with no way to assist him she watched him slowly suffer his condition worsening yet he still stubbornly clinged to life even when all hope was lost.
His perseverance was what gave her hope and helped her endure through all her pains, she never showed her weak side before the adversities facing them with a brave face. Only i could see through all her disguise, deep down i knew how exhausted she felt how she wished it could end quickly.
" I'm afraid he can no longer cultivate any longer, the grim has destroyed his dantian and they would be back to finish what they started." Nakano says watching as the lady squeezes her her first till it is as white as snow.
" Why won't they just let him be, there is nothing left to take." lady nakano says, anger filling her voice. her voice showing visible rage.
" His life, there still have his to reap. They are scared of his potential not his condition, a son of a monster is bound to be one-" Nakano pauses. gazes out the window.
" Especially after today's event." She continues before returning her gaze back to the lady.
" They've taken everything i ever held precious, i won't let them have their way a second time." She replies with conviction.
Nakano smiles a mother's love can't be caged even by the heavens, then prostrates on the floor.
" We shall fight with you till the very end." Nakano responds.
He makes it to the dining hall. Everyone is already present, his mother comfortably seated at the edge of the dining table. Nakano pulls out the other chair at the head for him and he immediately sits down.
Ayama, aki, anzu and akane, with two others are all standing side by side in a straight line by the left side of the dining table. One has brown eyes and brown coffee brown hair tied in a huge bun at the back, she is endowed and very curvaceous. while the other has pink straw hair with green eyes and freckles on her cheeks she's slim. They all equal in height and equally beautiful.
Another group of men, women and children all dressed in gray are standing by the left side
Nakano claps her hands and a group of maids dressed in gray yukata kimono start bringing food out in different bowls and trays immediately filling up the table. A delightful aroma instantly fills the room as he unknowingly starts salivating as he digs in.
Grabs a piece of temura prawn and dips it in tsuyu, swiftly places it in his mouth but chews it really slowly. savoring the scrumptious taste, as it bathes tastebuds with it's delicious juices. His eyes glow with greed as he starts eating with no reserves stuffing his face with food.
" Young master should slow down before he chokes on a meat ball." Aki says whilst raising her head.
Ayama swiftly pulls her ear, forcing aki to scream in pain.
He pauses and rubs his neck, he didn't think he'll be this hungry to begin with.
" Sorry." He replies awkwardly smiling.
Lady tamayo starts laughing, her burst out taken everyone by suprise filling the room with an unknown warmth.
The mistress hasn't laughed since the accident. All their faces brightening up the pink haired girl even chuckling.
" You shouldn't speak that way to the young master." Nakano strictly reprimands aki.
What did i do, i only said the truth. Aki sobs internally. As she rubs her aching ear
" So-."
" It's okay really." Takeo cuts aki off mid sentence.
" matter of fact." He pushes his chair back.
" I'll like to thank all of you for taking care of me when i was, it wouldn't have been easy on any of you. you might not show it but i can feel it." He say.
He walks up to nakano and takes her hands.
" Thank you miss nakano, please continue looking after me." He says warmly.
" It's my pleasure serving the young master." she replies her cheeks getting a little rosy.
He walks up to ayama then takes her hand.
" Thank you for taking care of me ayama." He says warmly
" It's always a pleasure young master." She replies whilst bowing her head.
He moves on to aki then takes her hand.
" Thank you taking care of me aki." He says warmly.
She gets flustered her whole face turning as red as a tomatoe.
" It's not a problem really." She replies keeping her gaze on the floor.
He moves on to anzu and repeats the same action.
Her eyes turn blank as she hurriedly bows down.
" It's a pleasure young master." her face getting red also.
He moves on to the brown haired girl and also takes her hands.
" Thank you for taking care of me Asa." He warmly says.
" I'm glad the master is back." She bows her head and replies. Her cheeks getting rosy.
He moves on to the pink haired girl and also takes her hands.
" Thank you for taking care of me Asuka." He warmly says.
" It's always a pleasure your highness." she replies and starts tearing up.
