10 Chapter 10: The Spotted Girl

Chiba Sobu High School.

It was a high deviation grade high school in Chiba City.

Kitahara Hakushu and Yotsuya Miko are Sobu High School students.

On top of that, she is also a classmate of Class A's first year of Sobu High School.

"Hey, Mieruko, did you go to confess your love to Kitahara's classmate yesterday?"

At this time, the two girls were also on their way to school.

Among them, the short orange-haired beauty curiously asked the long, straight-haired black-haired beauty.

"What? Confess? How is that possible!"

Yotsuya Miko was surprised when she heard Yurikawa Hana's words, and replied with a blush on her face.

"Hey? No? No matter how you looked at it yesterday, Mieruko seemed to have confessed, right? Everyone thought so."

Yurikawa Hana was slightly surprised when she heard those words, placed her finger to her lips, and said in a slightly depressed manner:

"By the way, when I was in class, I remember Kitahara always coming to talk to you, right? I thought Kitahara was the one chasing you, but I didn't expect you to confess first."

Yotsuya Miko heard Yurikawa Hana's words, her face stiffened, and she blushed and replied,

"Ahhh, this isn't a confession, Hana, don't think about it, yesterday... I had a special problem with Kitahara-kun!"

While speaking, the Yotsuya Miko was still wailing inside.

Had the matter of her searching for Kitahara spread across the class yesterday? And it has become such a rumor.

She mustered up the courage to look for Kitahara-kun because she had serious problems related to her life.

As for Kitahara, she always came to talk to her.

It's all because he's being haunted by a ghost, and Kitahara-kun has come to help her!

But then again.

Kitahara-kun, do you really believe that there are evil spirits and supernatural beings in this world?

"I believe... right?"

Remembering Kitahara Hakushu's ambiguous answer yesterday, Yotsuya Miko fidgeted as she reminded him again.

She really wanted to ask Kitahara Hakushu whether he believed it or not!

Mieruko struggled with this problem yesterday and didn't sleep the whole night.

But Mieruko was afraid that Kitahara Hakushu actually didn't believe her in him heart, and the reason why she said this was to cheer her up.

After all, no matter what, the chances of him comforting her were very high, right?

I don't know if Kitahara-kun thinks I'm weird.

Thinking of this, Yotsuya Miko slightly covered her face.

" Mieruko, Mieruko, do you hear me?"

Yurikawa Hana saw Yotsuya Miko ignoring her, and there was a hint of emotion on her face, and she turned around and asked dissatisfiedly.

"I heard it, I heard it..."

Yotsuya Miko answered nonchalantly, but when she regained her senses, she looked at Yurikawa Hana again.

The expression on his face suddenly froze.

Because she saw an extremely frightening and distorted gray-black face that appeared beside Yurikawa Hana at this time.

The owner of the huge face was more than two meters tall, and his dark eyes stared straight at the two of them, as if he was constantly observing something.

"Can you see it?"

"Can you see it?"

"Can you see it?"

Ghost, ghost!

Yotsuya Miko was so scared she almost screamed, but she held it in suddenly.

No, you can't scream, you can't expose yourself.

Even so, the fear in Mieruko's heart still spread.

Yotsuya Miko stood with a stiff expression, her small hands clutching her short skirt tightly, her legs shaking uncontrollably, with tears in her eyes, she kept silently praying for this ghost to go away soon.

But things backfired.

The ghost didn't just go away, but he might have noticed something odd about the Yotsuya Miko.

He gave up on Yurikawa Hana head on, and came to Mieruko to look for her curiously.

"Can you see? Can you see?"

Please, Kitahara-kun...

Yotsuya Miko shed tears.

At this moment, I can't help but think of the man who saved himself so many times from fire and water.

"Huh? Yotsuya-san, Yurikawa-san, why are you standing in the corridor instead of going to the classroom?"

And at this time, a voice suddenly sounded, which made the evil ghost and Yotsuya Miko startled.

"I don't know either. Mieruko suddenly stood here and didn't move. Kitahara-kun, good morning, hehe."

Soon after, Yurikawa Hana's grinning voice was heard, answering the question from the previous voice.

That's right, the one who came was Kitahara Hakushu.

The ghost stopped whispering and looked at Kitahara Hakushu.

Upon seeing Kitahara Hakushu, her pupils shrank, and it took her two or three steps to distance herself from Kitahara Hakushu.

Seeing the evil spirit's actions, Yotsuya Miko was stunned for a moment, not knowing why.

She seemed to see fear in the evil spirit's eyes.

But... it's a ghost, why be afraid? Obviously not like this before? What scared him into running away?

Before Yotsuya Miko could react, she heard her friend Yurikawa Hana continue talking.

"I was wondering why Mieruko stopped, but I wasn't surprised when I saw Kitahara-san. Mieruko must have seen you just now, so you prepare to wait for Kitahara-san!"

Hi?!

When the Yotsugu Miko heard those words, her face immediately turned red.

In the meantime, how are you still thinking about what just happened? What is the importance of ghosts now?

"That... this... I..."

Seeing the panicked Yotsuya Miko, Kitahara Hakushu smiled and said,

"Good morning, Yotsuya-san."

"Morning, good morning."

Yotsuya Miko's head was spinning, and she blushed to answer hesitantly.

Kitahara Hakushu saw that Yotsuya Miko was still panicking, so he just said,

"Then I'll go to class first, you two."

After saying that, Kitahara Hakushu left here.

While walking, I still think.

I have to say, Mieruko is really cute.

After learning the magic to get rid of ghosts and evil spirits, let's save the beautiful Mieruko who lives in trouble, shall we?

Thinking of this, Kitahara Hakushu's face filled with smiles.

How did he know that after being strengthened once by the simulator, his current life energy was much stronger than before.

Just like Yurikawa Hana in the original book, because of the strong life energy, ordinary ghosts absolutely don't dare to get close to Yurikawa Hana's body, only powerful ghosts can entangle Yurikawa Hana.

But now Kitahara Hakushu's life energy was stronger than Yurikawa Hana's.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that most ghosts in this world wouldn't dare to enter Kitahara Hakushu's body.

After all, the ghosts in "The Girl Who Can See It" aren't actually that strong.

They're just ghosts, nothing more or less, though there are some special ones but it's not much.

Kitahara Hakushu's only weakness is that he can't see ghosts. If he could, he might have chased the ghost to help Yotsuya Miko.

at the same time.

Yotsuya Miko looked behind Kitahara Hakushu's departure.

The mood is also slightly calm.

She remembered that Kitahara Hakushu had accidentally saved her again just now, and how the evil spirit had run away in fear.

There was warmth in Yotsuya Miko's chest.

It's just… before, Kitahara-kun completely lacked the ability to scare away evil spirits, why is it like this now? Has something changed?

Yotsuya Miko was a little confused, and subconsciously asked Yurikawa Hana who was beside her:

"Well, Hana, do you feel that Kitahara-kun looks any different?"

"Yes!"

Yurikawa Hana gave a firm answer.

When Yotsuya heard those words, her eyes immediately lit up, and she looked at Yurikawa Hana expectantly.

Yurikawa Hana was full of momentum, and said:

"Kitahara-kun looks more handsome today than before!"

Yotsuya Miko: "..."

A/N:

when Hana calls Miko, in the raw she uses the word Jian zi which means see child, if in Japanese it becomes Mieruko, but in my opinion it's more comfortable to just use Miko.

Which do you think is better, Mieruko or Miko, please answer in the comments.
