As Ace was enjoying his time quietly sleeping, it seemed as though his system had a different plan.

Ace heard this notification but since he was still half-asleep and very relaxed, he didn't bother reading it immediately using the classic 'just five more minutes' as he switched sleeping positions.

"ALRIGHT FINE I'LL WATCH THE STUPID VIDEO!!!"
Ace yelled annoyed at the system for ruining his perfectly good nap time. He clicked the button to start the video and as soon as he did, his screen shut off, and suddenly standing in front of him was a blue hologram of a person. A person was a weird word to use in this situation as the hologram looked more like a store mannequin with no hair and empty eyes. The only way Ace could tell its gender was female is when it began to talk.
"Greetings Ace and once again welcome to the world of Obisos. My creator apologizes for the error in your transport to One Piece. Unfortunately, because of the amount of power used by my creator, they are unable to transport you to your intended destination until they fully recover their power. "
"How long until they fully recover?"
Ace asked hoping he would only have to stay here a week or two before he could live his dream.
"As my creator is a very powerful being it will not take too long to recover…"
As Ace heard this, he could feel his hopes rapidly rising thinking that his wait time would be even shorter than he thought.
"You only need to wait for a mere 711,910,327 eons before they are fully recovered."
Just like that everything came crashing down as Ace understood that he would not be able to live his dream in One Piece even if he managed to somehow live past a hundred. However, what the hologram said next was able to cheer him up slightly.
"Do not fear Ace! As my creator feels guilty for your current situation, they have decided to award you with the ONE PIECE SYSTEM. Originally, you were intended to live in One Piece with a standard anime system. Seeing as things have changed, my creator has used what little power they had left to create this new system for you. Please watch this video of my creator as they explain the system.
The hologram woman then proceeded to double-tap the side of her head causing her to disappear and in her place was a bright white ball. Ace for some reason couldn't help but be enchanted by this light as it provided a warmth he never knew existed. Then the light began to talk in a voice that somehow sounded neutral not giving any hints as to gender or age of the light.
"Hello, Ace. I know you've been hearing it a lot, but I am truly sorry for the events that have transpired. Anyway, I hope I can make it up to you by giving you this system. The system has three main functions:

Ace took his time analyzing his status. He couldn't help but grin when he noticed he had the "Will of D" in his name. Just before he could ask questions regarding the status, the light continued speaking.
"I understand that you have questions regarding your status, but please wait. All your questions will be answered after this video ends. To continue, MISSIONS refer to tasks assigned to you, and completing them will grant you system points which you can use to access the SHOP. Inside the SHOP are a variety of skills and items from the world of One Piece that will help you along your journey."
The ball of light gave some time to Ace for him to digest everything. For a couple of minutes Ace had a pondering expression but soon looked back at the ball of light and nodded indicating he was ready to continue.
"Well, that covers the basic functions of the system. Regarding other important things to note, I have prepared for you a magic bag. Although it looks small, simply put your hand inside and you will be able to access an endless inventory. Don't worry this kind of item is common here, although the other magic bags of this world pale in comparison to yours.
I have also decided to give you a head start as an additional gift. All I can say to you about this gift is that I wish you the best of luck. Finally, please remember this system will certainly be helpful in your journey, but it is not a replacement for hard work. Don't let yourself constantly rely on the systems help and remember that you are in control of the system, not the other way around.

Before the ball of light disappeared, it gave one final sentence that would stick with Ace for the rest of his life.
