Very fast paced, good MC, world building is decent. Story doesn't leave way too many plot holds but there are certainly some of them. Slow down a little!

So far it is not terrible, one of the better ones to come from the last few batches. But man it needs someone to go over it with a comb, or a broom, to fix a lot of the little errors. the main being the knife/blade/sword translation like just pick one and stick with it. and I think at one time they called a spear a gun, I know the word translates the same but I feel like its pretty easy to pickup from context clues which to choose.

Honestly a fairly decent book. Translation quality is decent as well as the Character and story development. My only gripe is that the last 20 chapters feel very rushed. Other than that a great read.

I mean, the novel's not bad. It's just that the writing kinda doesn't hold up for me. The pacing is too inconsistent in the first 20 chapters and hence characters don't have any depth to them, feels rushed.

It has cliche plot points, for example him getting randomly kidnapped. Usually I hate this kind of bad-luck that forces tension like in Renegade Immortal and ISSTH, but here the plot's not effected negatively too much. Actually it's more like the main character has really good luck (which I am positive/neutral about). Also the characters and the story are not particularly memorable, and the MC is not particularly cautious or intelligent. If this was a much more serious novel and there was actually impact-fully negative consequence for this then I would be annoyed but this isn't that kind of novel. However, overall its just an enjoyable read and I'm just a fan of these kind of quick levelling up systems, they're very satisfying.

An overall interesting book with good world development. however the ending was a bit rushed and it has potential for further development....

Honestly this novel looks really promising. It reminds me of the world of "The Nine Cauldrons", with an mc that while having a cheat isn't instantly extremely OP. The relationship he has with his family and friends is also a nice thing to see. His cheat also gives him a reason to push himself and put himself in harms way, which is a great thing for the story's immersion. Hope it gets selected!

This is my first review and the first book I read (here) which was completed, didn’t drag on until the story was ridden to death and wasn’t ended hastily and abruptly. All in all it is a very nice and well written example of an “overpowered“ MC with a cheat. What sets it apart from other similar stories is the captivating plot. The author is even able to write a “typical“ story of above mentioned genre without falling too deeply in the trap of all the different cliches. I liked it very much and can only recommend reading it.

I don't know but after reading 66 feels like the story is dull and boring. Mc call every one master like slave and have no ambition to grow stronger, don't know how to make use of opportunities. The novel is only some 300+ chapters so don't know how author is gonna fit all these. It feels like possibility for love and romance bis also zero. I'm dropping anyway.

Just finished reading the raws. Was a good book with sensible characters and a smart protagonist. A couple of arcs might seem annoying but gets better. ending was rushed but then again….it seemed like all the potential was exhausted by then. so it’s good that the author ended it without dragging it a lot. there isn’t any major tragedy here. its a fun read. And yeah….one SPOILER is that there is no romance here. So a tough journey for those who want harem or a waifu😬

overall this is good novel. it falls short in some places, but it is far from being cheap power fantasy system story, like many novels on this site. plot isnt relying only on mc getting stronger, which is nice.

Definitely following this story. Probably the most likeable protagonist I’ve ever seen in a Chinese novel. Fun plot that is well-thought-out and respects the reader.

It's not a bad story - 1 star on stability of updates and a bit low on everything else. It's not bad - but, maybe 3.5 stars at best. I stopped at chapter 29 . Seeing the MC get a Cyan plate just gave me enough reason to not consider paying for chapters; something pointless added in for the reason of worsening the feeling of the story is nothing more than baffling. Good potential, but lacking in many aspects.

A decent xianxia+transmigration novel. I place xianxia first because the only purpose of the transmigration is to get the system and the MC completely falls into the role of a native. To the point that transmigration has literally zero effect on his thoughts or mindset, and it would make more sense that a native picked up a system somehow, since the MC doesn't consider any tests or applications outside of his first use. System: The system is a watered-down version of the basic. Absorb energy from spirit plant-> spend energy to upgrade skills-> gain knowledge(more so experience) -> repeat. When I say spirit plant, I mean that and only that, at least up to chapter 59. MC: Clever but not thorough. He avoids doing dumb stuff, which makes him seem like a genius relative to other xianxia MCs, but is entirely reliant on the system for any advancements and hasn't tried any other methods. E.g. He has a cultivation technique manual, but hasn't tried to actually use the technique whatsoever. Not to test for another form of energy gathering, not to test/feel it's normal effects, not to stack it's effects with the systems. Secondary example, it costs 12 energy to upgrade the technique through the system, but he hasn't tried to use the technique to see if the energy cost could be reduced over time or more energy could be gathered with it. Overall not annoying, but quite boring. Side characters: Avoids the tropes, so an amazing start here. Kind family, supportive village and friends, no idiot young masters. World: Not much to it yet, but it will be expanded as the MC gets stronger. The problem here is that it provides nothing interesting to look forward to. Issues: 1) It's a bit boring. 2) The MC can gain mastery over skills or advance his cultivation with the system, that's fine. However, it doesn't explain why he goes from a recently transmigrated, regular citizen/untalented, poor, and inexperienced young native to pretty much an experienced soldier in a few months. 3) The transmigration is pointless beyond the system, it brings more issues than it solves.
