I have a Mansion in the Post-apocalyptic World

At first i found the terms in the translation a little odd. USA had turned into UA, FBI turned into FBA, China had turned into Han, yet KGB, IS (ISIS), Iraq, etc were left unchanged. Took me a moment to look up the reason why, but eventually i found it. The translator has taken it upon himself/herself to censor, change, and even remove chunks of information from the novel (im talking entire paragraphs here) that they feel is 'sensitive' and may 'offend' people. Ironically, it feels like the only one offended by it is the translator themselves, since im not sure who would be offended by the terms USA, FBI, China etc. Yet, leaves things like IS as is. Cause you know, no ones offended by terrorist organizations, but god forbid if its the US or China. For the record, The novel already went through censorship before it was fully published and released, making the additional censorship done by the translator redundant and unnecessary. A translator's job is to translate an authors work as accurate and true to the original's contents as possible, while also making it smooth and easy to read in the other language. Anything beyond that is also beyond a translators purpose. If it was possible to give translation quality 0 stars, i would. In regards to the story itself, it is decent, though predictable, the post apoc world is basically the fallout setting to the T. In the end, ill be dropping the story. Maybe it will be retranslated without missing information or excessive censorship (which is, ironically enough, the only thing about it i find offensive).

Great novel i thought it was **** but the interesting parts start appearing about 30-40 chapter in the novel i really don't know but this novel got me really hooked into it that this rarely happen after all im kinda bored of novels .-. especially the modern genre ones .This novel is kinda like fallout but it's million times better fallout was really bad i don't know what people like about it maybe it is the world exploring and building but it is still single player which makes it really boring and you can't have real "*******" , this novel in exchange makes it feel more real and there is 18+ content but not something which affects the series i could mostly say it semi -romance/sexual content XD.The mc tries to solve the mystery behind time travel and in the process of that he gets himself a kingdom ,a company like microsoft (but bigger) and pretty much dominates the world in 2 dimensions :D

Great Speculation about the post-apocalyptic world and future technologies, enjoyed it even though it is mainly a harem novel. Sad to see it end so soon, could've gone further.

this novel is about to come to an end soon as there a lot old novel that have come to end I quite sad as the quality of most new novel lacking compared to the old ones

After following this for so long I realized I have never left a review. Give this story a shot is all I can say, you wont be disappointed. One of the best novels on WN.

Russian translator here, I've read the novel for over 3 years already, and translating for over 5 months(Nothing compared to _Min_'s 4 years, I am seriously in awe), I have translated every chapter since 1125(Started because the original Rulate translator hasn't released a chapter in a month), up to 1547. I love this novel and I'm just thankful to _Min_ for translating it, to Morning Star LL for writing it, and even though it has many references to other pieces of media, only he could get them all to work together creating a masterpiece.

I didn't read it yet, but the racism tag got me. I must say I'm a big fan. . . . 👍nice

Ok, first this story starts off kind of weird and disgusting, but eventually, it gets kind of sad and pathetic. I get the author writing himself into a harem power fantasy, but the rape, racism and poor understanding of the world outside China eventually pull the story waaayyy down. By the time he's writing about how big the MC dick is and how long he lasts in bed compared to other asians, I was genuinely feeling sorry for the author. Definitely a heavy incel vibe. I didn't mind the heavy dislike for everything western/capitalism given that the author seems to dislike china just as much, but most of it really came off as envious more than anything. The best way to read this in my opinion is; Don't But barring that, just skip any paragraph or chapter where the MC is in throwing distance of any female, you lose nothing plotwise, and it genuinely improves the story by a lot.

Great story, but translator is just a step above machine translation, there are a lot of very simple errors that could be fixed by simple proofreading. The translation schedule is also all over the place without any consistency.

It's one of my favorite novel here, too bad the chapter update is too slow, I believe that if this novel update faster it will be in the top ten if not in top three. 😄😎😄😎

The story is really great and I love it. Great characters, Great World Building and Great plot. But the biggest problem is the translator. 5 chapters per week? Stop bull****ing. Inconsistant updates is all we got. Please pick up the pace

Entertaining time travel + Fallout ripoff, but the rampant censorship by the translator is extremely irritating. Nobody will be offended if you use "US" instead of "UA" for example. "Veit" instead of "Ukraine" also is extremely confusing. "Xiangjang" instead of "Hong Kong". Unnecessary and insulting. Censoring sex scenes so they only appear on their Patreon is also extremely irritating behaviour by the translator. Doesn't quite ruin the story but I would hesitate to use spirit stones to support such a ****ty practice. Read the story for free on another platform - MTL for the sex scenes if you, like me aren't willing to go to the TL's Patreon.
