Feared tier

In the midst of the dark forest, cruel and vicious monsters roam the area. Monsters that rely on strength to live and conquer. Demons.

Demons are monsters, they have beastlike personalities that exist within their nature. Beasts are known to follow the strongest, and like beasts, demons do also...

The feared tier is a tier that exists between the high and disaster tiers. This tier exists, to separate the weak and the strong. Those who belong in this tier are known to be the warriors who can almost touch the light.

In this tier, there exist monsters that are a step closer to being strong and monsters that can no longer gather strength to grow.

"This was not what we negotiated, all of your current actions are not what we have talked about." Zhang Xiu, who was now inside a metal cage, tied up and couldn't move was frustrated.

Just a while ago she went and negotiated with the demons so that she could have Zhang Qi'er back, Now she was hopeless and couldn't move a single inch of her muscle.

"Just endure. Your negotiations will be continued when we return to our world."

In front of Zhang Xiu was a demon. Not just any demon, a feared tier demon. Like the one Mary fought, he is a demon with goat-like horns on its head, a face that resembles that of a cow, and a half-body like a human.

"Is that so... Then, would you kindly remove your spell from me? I would want to be able to move you know?"

"That could not happen. Until my son returns, you would be put under my spell to not hinder any more progress on our negotiations."

"That would be impossible, in your group only YOU are high tier and is strong enough to battle my son. Plus, there is no way the people from this world could ever fight my son, they do not possess mana."

Hearing the demon say this Zhang Xiu could not hold back her laugh and let it off a little. Thanks to a little self-control, she managed to not laugh hard.

"What's so funny."

"Nothing really, you are just in for a massive surprise."

The demon was confused.

This confusion led to a surprise as the surrounding forest suddenly erupted into fire.

A wall of burning trees covered the demons and beyond those fire. Are people that are lurking.

"WHAT?!"

Appearing before the fire were silhouettes clad in black which slowly took away the demons that were alive thought the wall of forest fire.

The demon who saw all of this was no longer idling by. With a stump of his feet in the ground, a massive barrier suddenly appeared which protected the demons that were left.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHOOOOOOOO" the feared tier demon screamed loudly from his lungs.

All of the remaining demons who heared the scream grew into large proportions as if they grew a meter or two.

Buffing is the skill of the demon. Not only did they grow their strength, power, and capabilities to kill also grew larger.

"BEASTLY DEMONS!!! Hunt those imbeciles"

with a word of order. The demons moved through the forest fire as if they were not fazed by the heat at all.

The demons moved through the forest with an intention to kill.

The feared tier, however, remained behind to protect their hostages.

"You're not going to go with them?" Zhang Xiu asked the demon. Behind the cage she was in, she was smiling and grinning. As if knowing that something might happen.

The demon, on the other hand, knew what was going on.

"You really think I'm going to fall for such an obvious bait?" The demon looked down at Zhang Xiu.

"Since you ordered all of your demons to rush through the fire. Didn't you already fall for it?"

"Hmph, I just wanted to kill the remaining humans that you have by myself. I can't give that satisfaction to other demons."

"I see. Then, you're prepared, right? To fight another high tier?"

"What do you mean, you are the only high tie-" BAM!

Something exploded into a mostly-like smoke which covered the surroundings. The feared tier demon was caught by surprise and couldn't react fast enough to notice that the cage in front of him was gone.

Someone on the other hand used this chance to take advantage and fight the demon.

Zhang Xiu and Shea are inside a cage. Near that cage, from the feel of its aura, is probably the feared tier that everyone was talking about. Beyond the feared tier, demons are scattered around to form a defensive wall. 

If we take down everyone one by one, then one demon might react then the others would immediately know and assist the demons. The feared tier is the one in the middle, meaning he could react to any disturbance. They have a system-like defense with the feared tier as the main component.

That could lead to us being wiped out, worst-case scenario, I might use my permission to unlock a primordial skill early, and I don't like that.

What we need is a distraction. A distraction big enough to make the demons's system break down. What we need is something bright, something glowing.

I scrambled my mind, searching deep within the neurons of my brain. With the amount of mana I have left, a massive distraction won't happen and I would lose all of it... That's why I need to think! What could I do to save Shea and Xiu?!

With all the thinking happening, I soon began to notice the members of the group. Everyone had their unique weapons and way to fight. Surely I could find a way to use them.

So, I began observing everyone as they are preparing to fight. One had two swords, a dark and sinister black one while the other is shining blue like a diamond, One uses his fist and fights with powerups and energy blasts, And the last one is using paper as a way to fight while also supporting her teammates.

Wait a minute... Paper? Could they be talishmans?

"Hey you, girl with the ponytail. Tell me your name."

"Huh? Me??? Uh... My name, is... Liesha. How could I help you sir?"

After hearing my voice the girl acted scared. Even the other members of the group went towards the girl trying to protect her. Not going to lie, I feel hurt.

"You don't need to be scared like that... I just wanna ask if the paper you have right now are talishmans?"

"This sir?" Liesha slowly rose the paper she was holding "They are talishmans sir."

"You also don't need to call me sir... Do you perhaps have any talishmans related to fire? And also, did you make those talishmans yourself."

"If I could make them, I wouldn't be low tier... Sir?... And yes! I do have talishmans that are related to fire! Do you want them!"

The girl hastenly reach towards her pouch and revealed tons and tons of paper. I examined them using analysis and discovered that all of the papers she showed are all fire related talishmans.

"... That's quite a lot..."

"No way they are a lot sir! For me, I think even they are only little! There are a lot of ways to use fire related talishmans sir! Even my brother is very proud of the way he created this talishmans!!!"

"Is that so?" Again with the sir, but nevermind that. With all the talishmans right now, the plan is under way. I must thank Liesha's brother in the future, and if I can't I will thank him in spirit.
