36 Chapter 35 - I Would Attack You, But It Is Unmanly To Strike A Woman

"Aww, such a cutie. He he is actually this brilliant at this age!"

"You tall monkey- get away from my son! Can't you see it? He's going to be a telepath like I am!"

Felix who was still in Heroism and had searched for if vampires where real on the Heroic Dark Net, began to have flashbacks of the past... The time before the death of his parents.

"Little brother, your big sister has acquired dual abilities! She's going to out match you if you keep slacking off."

Although the images flashing in his head were only faint and blurry silhouettes of the real people in Felix's distant memories, it still brought an indescribable pain to Felix's human heart.

It all happened like scenes of a movie- the death of his parents.

One moment they were vibrant and full of energy, unprecedented anomalies - and in a blink they become cold lifeless bodies.

"Father- Mother!"

A faint explosion of cosmic energy went off as the screaming Felix was blown away. Suddenly, the blurry scene turned clear.

Ding!

Felix stared at this part of the transparent blue screens for a couple of seconds before scrolling up telepathically with a 'Meh', and a disdainful sneer.

Felix only took one glance before scrolling up and skipping the fantasy like page. Did the writer think that people would actually buy that stuff? It was an open scam!

Felix's eyes settled here for a second. As he was about to scroll up, he noticed that the search results ended here. Only three results...

Felix opened the last one, and a new book filled with information was opened unto him. The series of information broadened Felix's view upon the universe.

Magic... is probably real!

----

Thundra who had just taken a shower and wore some loose-fitting clothes was shocked to see Felix appear right in the middle of the room.

Felix who had appeared right in the spot before his log out ignored the level up notifications and lowered his head in thoughts... gods... demons... magic.

Felix dropped down to the bed, his entire state of mind in turmoil. His view over the world had been overturned after reading the contents of that page, and the timely lectures from Cyprus and Thundra.

He was totally oblivious of the fact that Thundra was in the room as he was still immersed in his thoughts.

"Heya Thundra, I've finally gotten some information on the creature guarding the gate to the Dark Phoenix." Flaming Maiden hopped into the room and began to speak with a smile on her face. She wasn't wearing her glasses today, greatly portraying her fiery and beautiful features.

"Hi guys- what the?" Demon Hunter who walked out of the bathroom after Thundra also froze at the sight of the 'stranger' in the room. Although she was dripping wet, Demon Hunter was too shocked to bother about the cold now.

"Heroism is not a game but a parallel world connected to all the alternates of earth- the playground of the highest order of supreme beings. Am I right, Thundra." Felix said as he lifted his head to gaze into Thundra's eyes. He didn't have to say much, his silence now spoke volumes.

"Who told you... don't lie to me." Thundra growled as her eyes turned completely red. She had already taken a step forward, and the power building up within her was immense.

"You ask me if I believed in magic... I have seen something I shouldn't have seen. I know what others try to escape from." Felix didn't flinch as Thundra released her aura, instead his gaze sharpened as a suffocating aura surged out of his soul. His voice seemed to be slightly monotonous as he added with a cold expression, "Gods... Demons..."

Demon Hunter and Flaming Maiden subconsciously took a step back, only Thundra could confront Felix's wild and overbearing aura.

"Who talked to you? What did you see!" Thundra had gone impatient now. If only Felix knew the truth it was fine, but if the second party isn't know to her then she'll cut down the amount of big-mouths in Heroism.

"Someone retarded show me a vision- A vision of earth as it grew from the era of premonition and paranormal to an era of facts and technology." Felix felt his power surge, nothing existed in this world except Thundra before him. Everything else grayed out in his sight.

"Who?" Thundra was getting weaker by the second, but wasn't willing to admit defeat. Fools must be-

"Cyprus. You want to kill him? Go and try. I'll make sure to tell your family their daughter died pursuing a fantasy." Felix muttered as his silver eyes began to glow, and silver hair began to sway softly. "I don't know why I'm asking this, but what are you?"

Thundra who had almost lashed out due to impatience froze with a dark face. Should she talk or kill? No! I must see if he has the strength to keep my secret, if not...

"Die!" Thundra lashed out with her right hand, aiming to tear Felix's skin off his face. Her blood red eyes flashed as all the veins in her body began pulsating with power.

Felix sighed. Before he had begun his speech, he had activated Overload and shut down his emotions so that the innate feeling of friendship won't hinder his battle judgement.

No need to be very high and mighty. Felix knew he'd do the same if he was in Thundra's shoes... to protect his race- he must be vigilant! He would be worried if she didn't strike now.

Felix who was in his newly acquired digital body was unable to be damaged when stabbed by a thick knife not to talk of a wild punch of a strange humanoid... mosquito.

Thundra who seemed to sense Felix's provocative thoughts added more power to her punch, wanting to shatter a few of Felix's bones.

Boom~~~

"I would have really attacked you by now, but don't you know... it's unmanly to attack women." Felix said arrogantly as he took on Thundra's weak blow with a cold smirk. The faint shock wave which rang out told others the punch was serious, but...

Thundra stared at Felix as if she was staring at a monster. She had used her full power in the punch, but during contact it wasn't skin she felt her fist connecting to, but steel!

This... this was impossible! Thundra's eyes flared as she stomped down, drew back her fist, then, punched again with an even more fierce and straightforward manner.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Thundra's lips parted to reveal her pointed and elongated canines. Her eyes were filled with shock and disbelief.

Three punches, none avoided, none effective. Felix just stood as if he was letting a deranged kid have a go at him. The situation was akin to a lioness want to bring down a dragon with brute strength.

"This is impossible... your evolution road is of a human! Why are you so strong?" Thundra said with despair written all over her face.

"You see in my world, they call me an Anomaly." Felix's smirk turned into a sneer as his gaze sharpened. He couldn't bring himself to hit a 'weak' and 'helpless' lady, but that didn't mean he would stand still for the rest of the day. "You have two options."

The three women were shocked beyond words. Even Demon Hunter had forgotten she was still partially naked, and was extremely immersed in the battle.

When they heard "options", they're faces turned pale as they all had one thought.

'What is this guy thinking?'
