Chapter 255- Zain's worry

Zain could not hold back and immediately dialed her number.

As soon as she answered, the first thing Zain spoke in his deep voice was, "I am not old!"

Rizelle laughed out loud at the other end as she felt his annoyance, "so gullible! I was kidding!"

Her laugh warmed his heart and he couldn't help but say, "I know!"

"Ok, quickly open your bedside drawer. There's a small birthday gift."

Zain heart did summersault inside as he opened the drawer and saw a single dessert box. He opened the box and beautiful cupcake with a happy birthday tag.  He could help but smile as warmth flowed in his heart. 

"I didn't have time, so just baked it quickly with whatever was possible. Thanks to Ethan for delivering it." Rizi spoke on the other end.

Zain carefully picked out the cupcake and a took a big bite as the flavors burst into his mouth.
