10 Storm Uprising

Jack bounced into his mansion with his guards and Rylex tailing him closely. He greeted some maids with smiles as he walked forward, then, up the stairs and finally arrived at the first floor.

"How many floors does this mansion have?" Rylex asked out of curiosity as she obediently followed Jack as she knew nothing about the house. She was too lazy to investigate.

"About fifteen floors on the surface and five more floors underground. The mansion has over a hundred rooms, excluding those underground." Jack spoke cooly was he walked up to the elevator on the second floor and stepped inside. Rylex and only a few guards followed.

The others took the second elevator out of the four available.

"Why didn't you just use the elevator downstairs?" Rylex asked in confusion, she face tilted slightly to the side.

She simply couldn't understand Jack's thought process. He acts unpredictably at times.

"Because I wouldn't be able to see all those beautiful maids- ouch!" Jack spoke cooly, but was interrupted by a sharp pain from his arm. Rylex pinched him!

Jack rubbed his throbbing arm with tears in his eyes, he had subconsciously began to blurt out random things to Rylex as he wasn't focused. He was thinking about something else…

The bodyguards only gave Rylex a stern glare before placing their hands behind their backs and averting their gazes. Their uniform actions and fierce aura made them look like the powerful militants they were.

"You pervert! You head is only filled with beautiful women!" Rylex cursed, swallowing back the urge to punch him! She just hoped he got stronger in a hurry so that he'll be able to take all her beatings without dying from one punch.

"And I was wondering why I can only keep thinking of you… Hah, it seems I have become your pervert…" Jack grinned broadly as he spoke, ignoring his pain and shifting to his side to avoid a painful attack.

Rylex blushed fiercely at Jack's words. The b*stard was flirting with her!

"I thought you had a girlfriend?" Rylex asked calmly, feeling the ride in the elevator was taken longer than normal. She simply shrugged it off.

"Haven't you heard of harem? Or isn't there a harem god? I'm keeping you both to myself, and it's not debatable." Jack spoke without any break or hesitation, he seemed to have ignited the powerful negotiation skills of many noble businessmen.

"What if I want you all to myself?" Rylex took her stand, and stood firmly. She didn't waver understand Jack's ferocious gaze.

"I'm not attracted to selfish women, and my internal instincts aren't wrong." Jack fought back fiercely, his eyes flaring as he spoke in a soft voice. He smirked as he spoke, "Besides, there's no bad blood between you two… You'll get along just fine."

The guards seemed to have gone deaf, unable to hear nor comprehend anything Jack and Rylex was saying. The had deep frowns on their faces with their arms simply crossed behind they're back.

"Isn't having more than one women as your wife illegal in the Central Confederate?" Rylex asked as a sly grin appeared on her face, she had finally got him!

"I'm rich, so I can simply move to either the Eastern or Southern Confederates. Don't worry, they accept people who have more than one woman as a wife." Jack just raised a brow and spoke, slapping Rylex with the truth. He was so rich he could buy half of the confederate, if his money wasn't enough his dad might lend support to buy the entire confederate!

What was having two or three wives? If he wanted to, he could have more than a hundred wives! Heck, he could marry almost every girl he liked if he wanted to.

"What the hell do YOU do for a living? I can understand your parents being rich as they are major players in the Neo-nuclear Technology business, but what are you doing?" Rylex was stumped wishing she hadn't been so rash and left heaven without properly researching Jack and his family.

"Hehe," Jack simply chuckled, but didn't reply. The strange glint in his eyes brightened for a bit before dying out as he cooly crossed his arms and kept staring at Rylex's ethereal face.

Now that he had calmed down and stared closely at Rylex, he was unable to take his eyes off her face. Her face was the true definition of near perfection.

All her facial features were slender, delicate, and beautiful. Her pale face, cherry red lips, completely silver eyes, and heart palpitating smile made her look more appealing and radiant.

10 Seconds, 30 Seconds… The elevator had arrived at it's destination, but he remained frozen in place still staring at her. Time was passing as he was unable to avert his gaze.

Rylex didn't notice this as she was busy thinking about something, and the guards didn't interrupt as they waited for their boss to gather himself.

"Uh, Jack…" Rylex broke out of her thoughts and glanced at Jack, suddenly her heart skipped beats and all the colour drained from her face.

"Dammit, I lost focus!"

Suddenly, Rylex took a deep breath and gave Jack a tight slap. The slap was sufficient to wake him up from his strange state.

When he was woken up, Jack tools staggering step back in shock. Dammit! Gods were too frightening! How was he supposed to fight them?

Only one look, and his soul was trapped! If Rylex had bad intentions, wouldn't it be easier to just leave him there without doing anything to help?

"What was that?" Jack asked Rylex through their mental link as he staggered his way out of the elevator, like a drunk. He was unable to keep his footing.

"Sorry… I-I'm really sorry. I just lost focus for a second and my suppressed charm was instantly released! It won't happen again." Rylex spoke back in a flustered voice, like a child who had done something wrong and was caught red handed. She could only lower head head and apologize.

Jack simply smiled and dragged her to his side. It was partially his fault. Who told him to stare at Rylex? He should have just kept to himself.

"Father, that mischievous brat has already formed a strong bond with the Atypical Hero. It seems your choice of standing idly in the sidelines had taught her to toughen up and fight for herself."

The melodious feminine voice rang out as a lady walked up in a certain direction with swaying hips, and a breathtaking smile on her ethereal face. Her long gold locks swerved in the wind, giving her an elegant and majestic appearance.

Before her was a huge golden throne, glowing in a strange lustre and reaching about 2 metres in height. Ten men donned in gold attires stood around the throne with their hands behind their backs and golden eyes scanning around the area.

On the throne was an aged man wearing a long white robe. With his silky white hair, vibrant face, and robust figure- he looked a lot younger than be actually was.

He was sitting in the meditative pose with his eyes closed and chest rhythmically heaving up and down in perfect sync with his breathing.

When he heard the words of the newcomer, He slowly opened his eyes, and a bright light shot out of them. His gaze was filled with boundless wisdom and intelligence.

After letting out a barely audible sigh, everything in motion around him suddenly slowed down to a snail's crawl. Time seemed to have been put into slow motion.

After letting out another sigh, deeper and longer than the last, time returned to normal in an instant as if nothing happened in the first place.

"Young one, have any of those stupid and pathetic gods began to make their moves yet?" His voice was loud and powerful, like the sound of thunder. When he spoke he had an indescribable grace entitled to his manner of speaking.

"Except for the deceiver, and a few lone gods, no one is foolish enough to outright attack someone blessed by the Superior Creator."

The lady replied with her head lowered as she came to a halt before the old man and his guards. It was an unspoken rule that no low or mid god could look upon an elder, and only a few who didn't value Thier lives went against it.

Looking at an Elder God without permission meant immediate death! A merciless and heartless slaughter of the god who dared to break the simple rule.

"Don't be so formal with me, you can look upon your father can you not?"The old man waved his hand and spoke out in an overly lazy and tired voice.

"Thank you, father!" The lady smiled, then, took a graceful bow before slowly raising her head. Her smile grew upon seeing her father's appearance, and she spoke softly, like someone who wanted to curry favours,

"Father you haven't changed in the slightest even after a thousand years. You still remain as vibrant and handsome as the Elder God Of Light I was birthed to thousands of years ago."

"Little Goddess, Shivera, you flatter this old man." The old man smiled sheepishly before slowly regaining his earlier demeanor. In face of family, his mask of boundless power and tyranny always falls.

"Heh heh. Father, I have something to tell you." Shivera smiled before suddenly wearing an absolutely serious expression with a grave gleam in her eyes. She seemed ready to discuss something very important.

"The Nirvana Shadow Belle has reincarnated again, and it appeared in the Mortal Hub!" She spoke in a soft voice, the grave look in her eyes grew as she added, "It still has the Supreme Shadow Amphiptere as it's symbiotic soul beast, although the creature in still in a deep slumber after The Ultimate Armageddon."

The narrowed eyes of the old man widened at those words, and the air around him began to stir violently.

"Our creator! That thing is very dangerous even in it's preliminary youth stage! Didn't that cocky brat that challenged the creator possess one when he invaded heaven?"

The Elder God Of Light spoke in a deep voice as he slammed his hand against the armrest of his throne. The loud explosion of sound that rang out throughout the place made his guards frown deeply.

"That's not the problem… The problem is that she's being chased by the Death God who is in need of a god-level shadow core… and, is heading towards the Atypical Hero."

Shivera paused for dramatic effect, and also to let the information sink into her father's mind.

"I believe the Death God would attempt 'killing two birds with one stone…' since he is also one of those bold gods in great need of the resurrection ability.'

"Darn it!" Jah roared as he slammed his fist against his armrest again. This time he used just enough force to force the sturdy looking armrest to shudder violently.

It's nothing short of a miracle the throne hadn't came apart by now.

"Rylex would be able to handle that useless bastard, besides that, I heard another Supremacy Awakening was rising… It's time for me to leave… A major battle is about to start across all the Celestial Realities."
