Chapter 74. Magic Sword

"Don't be so angry, Rengoku. You should understand that I also have some problems in life. At least, don't you think that it would be better if you adjust for me?"

Arthur with no much choice started to lie. Before he used to lie and trick her, so there is no reason it shouldn't work again.

"Hmph! Don't think of me as an idiot. I have grown up enough to understand the difference between truth and lie."

Suddenly, Arthur felt some sort of distortion from beside him. He turned his head down a bit, only to see his katana - Rengoku coming out of space.

'She is coming out from another dimension? But how?'

Then he remembered that even though he stores her in another dimension, it is still categorized as magic. And as long it's magic, it can be slashed by Rengoku.

"R-Rengoku, calm down!"

"No! I won't be swayed by Master's lies anymore. Being me out or else I will annoy shouting inside Master's head all the time!"

While he was dealing his problems, up on the table August and Maria both of them are respectively teasing Shin and Cecily.

"Get me out!"

Arthur just massaged his head after hearing his sword ranting him continuously.

'If I don't take her now, she will definitely continuously shout inside my head. I thought that storage magic would be enough to keep our connection off, but my growth has strengthen her as well. With my rate of improvement, I won't be surprised if she can completely move out from storage on her own will.'

It was started to become a pain in his head. Rengoku is so childish that she won't stop ranting about coming out. How can he can summon her out in front of everyone?

And specially his sword is not any normal one. Katana normally doesn't even exist in this world.

'Should I summon her out or not?'

Before he could decide anything, Violet sitting beside him noticed Rengoku's tip struggling to come out from the fabric of space.

"Oh! It's Rengoku!"

All of his worries went to drain. What option he has now other than to summon it out?

"What did you said now, Violet?"

And the inquiry about Rengoku started. Violet is also innocent enough to not lie to anyone.

"It's Rengoku. It's the name of Arthur-sama's sword."

"Arthur's sword?!!"

All the classmates were very surprised by the sudden exposé.

"Arthur, did you were also a swordsman?!"

Shin looked at him and asked him. He opened his mouth to tell something, but Yuri interrupted and started to tell his tale.

"It seems you all don't know, but Arthur has been a swordsman from the begin. He is excellent swordsman, same as his magic skills."

"Amazing!"

"Hehe..."

He just smiled wryly noticing all the classmates shining eyes towards him. August beside noticed his troubled face and smiled emitting full darkness from it.

"Arthur-kun, how about showing your sword?"

'You...'

He gritted his teeth and turned his head like a robot towards August who just smiled at his angry face.

Arthur knows that once he summon it out, Rengoku probably wouldn't stay in storage again at any cost.

During his time as hunter, he used to frequently go into quests and missions making use of Rengoku periodically.

But after becoming a student, he didn't have any need for his sword yet. He might require it in future but that's about the future.

He has no reason to bring it out now. But he couldn't ignore the gazes of his classmates looking at him like a prey.

If there is something boys like universally, then that would be robots and swords.

"Alright. I am summoning it out."

He putted his hand into storage and grabbed Rengoku's hilt and pulled it out in one swing.

'Wow! Fresh air at last!'

The black katana was exposed in front of others, which shined red in front of them.

"Such a long sword!"

"It's quite strange."

"It shined, right?"

"That's right! I saw it!"

The boys and even the girls were attracted by the katana's beauty. Specially, Julius being a former knight. Tony also liked the sword, though rather than its power he wanted it since it would make is easier to play with more girls.

'What a strange sword!'

And the mastermind to force Arthur to take out his sword, August looked at it with curiosity.

"It's a Katana!"

And Shin, he shouted as soon he realised that Arthur was holding a Katana in his hands.

"Katana? Do you know about this type of sword, Shin?"

August asked Shin who was flustered realising that he spoke a bit loud.

"I-It's a sword I saw once. That's right, it is a sword I saw once when the merchant uncle to came to house."

'You are obviously lying.' x2

Both Arthur and August looked at him with deadpan expression.

Shin found himself looked by two pair of eyes, but still he insisted in his claim. He can't just expose himself being from different world.

"Aside beauty remarks, this sword is quite different. It's single edged sword with a curve at top. And it quite slim and probably light as well. Is it strong?"

The swords in this world is very common fantasy swords, a sword with edges at both sides and it big and heavy from its durability.

And that's why it is heavy and people needs to train before able to lift it. While it needs high skills to use katana, but if just want to swing it then it is easy for untrained person.

The lightness that comes with extreme durability. This is the best advantage of a katana.

'How dare this guy underestimate me!'

Rengoku who heard August doubting her made her fill with rage.

"Oh! It just vibrated! Why it is happening?"

August being more curious asked Arthur. He was about to say, but instead of Yuri, Violet interrupted him.

"It's because Rengoku has its own consciousness. After all, Rengoku is a magic sword."
