"Shin, let me ask you. What are you going to do now?"

All of them sat down, and Melinda after a couple of sips asked Shin who was in front of her.

"I thought of writing the same enchantment on her uniform as mine. Since I can't be with her all the time, I thought about it. What do you think, grandma?"

"You want to overwrite this girl's uniform like yours?!"

"Overwriting enchantment?"

"What is that?"

Both August and Maria were a bit confused and shocked to listen something out of their knowledge.

'That uniform... No wonder the Guru became a big shocked.'

Arthur looked at the uniform and easily identified the enchantments placed on it. No, better to say the overwritten enchantments.

Over writing enchantment is a way of deleting an enchantment on an existing object, and then enchanting according to the magician's wish.

It is not known because it is quite dangerous and very difficult task to do.

Though it is a child's play for Arthur, it seems Shin can do it easily as well.

The uniform Shin was wearing now has enchantments, powerful ones which can make this uniform a national grade treasure easily.

Shock absorption, absolute magic defence, auto healing.

This uniform is now in the realm of artifact.

But still Arthur isn't worried about it. Every artifact, magic tool has its limits. Even though the uniform has the enchantment of absolute magic defense, it can only endure to a limit.

If someone exceeds that, it will break down. And Arthur can that.

'But still it seems that Shin gasps the main root of the enchantment.'

In this fantasy world, everything seems to pretty backward. And it was ofcourse because of the nobles who reigned over the people.

Magic is power. And nobles were the ones with high talent for it. How can they not monopolize it?

Because of these conservative methods, the clashes and improvement of magic didn't happened making it very stagnant.

Enchantment is a magic that mostly relies on to be specific it is better to say language.

Like the words that have great meaning which can be engraved in objects. Being from a civilized world, language was the last thing Arthur needed to learn and improve.

And that is why his enchantment is very strong.

People here don't have proper words for sophisticated features and because of that it is difficult to give proper enchantment to objects.

But Shin was able to give the properties which can easily make the uniform a national treasure.

'It is either he is too talented. Or he is...'

At that moment, Arthur was having doubts whether Shin is also a reincarnator, same as him. But thinking that past should left behind, he withdrew the suspicion and only thought of his current life and future.

"Hmm... I will ask you a question. Your name is Cecily, right?"

Melinda who heard Shin's determination looked at Cecily who nervously clutched her fists.

"Y-Yes."

"Overwriting enchantment is a hard task. And yet Shin intends to do it for you. It means he is determined to protect you. What I want to ask is are you worthy of his protection?"

"Worthy, you say..."

Cecily wasn't able to understand what Melinda wanted to ask of her.

"Grandma, this is something I want to do. I really don't need somthing exaggerated like qualification."

"You be quiet and listen."

Shin stopped and sulked a bit.

"Young lady, do you understand what will happen if Shin applies the same enchantment to your uniform? That uniform is already powerful enough to be considered as a protective armor of national treasure grade."

"National treasure grade?!!"

All of them were shocked, even the king stood up in shock. A national treasure grade, it means the uniform is now as important as the nation.

Having one is already too much, and if Shin just gives it to anyone as he wished there is no doubt it would make chaos all around.

"That's right. Shock absorption, absolute magic defense, auto healing. There are some high grade enchantments in this uniform."

Arthur who was silent all the time told them the chants engraved in the uniform.

'This guy is indeed not normal.'

Melinda was a bit shocked and looked at him who was able to identify each traits of th uniform in a sort span of time.

She then turned and continued her talk.

"Again Shin has done something that is out of our common sense. It is unbecoming that I can't even what kind of high value this uniform would fetch as a protective armor. But still..."

Melinda looked at Cecily sharply under her glasses trying to pressure her.

"... Still he wants to impart that enchantment on your uniform. Do you have the resolution and qualification to accept it?"

Only at this moment, Cecily's eyes flicked and she realizes her mistake.

Maybe she took everything for granted, and despite not knowing she was using Shin, taking advantage of his position of being the grandson of the Sage and Guru.

But... It is true that she loves him.

'I am taking advantage of him.'

But now after this talk she realizes her mistake. After all she is indeed innocent, but she is a noble. How could she not understand after a big lecture?

"I... I am not qualified."

Arthur finally stepped up and looked at Cecily who in started to give out tears.

Shin panicked since he never expected Cecily to reject him. And looking at her crying, somehow he was more worried about her.

"So, what do you mean by being not qualified?"

Melinda also looked at her, seeing judging her if she could say the truth in front of everyone.

In truth, Melinda doesn't harbour any bad intentions about the girl in front of her.

But she still wanted her to know what she was doing is wrong. Her grandson loved her, so she just wanted to test him and see whether Cecily liked just Shin or liked Shin Wolford.
