August grabbed Shin's shoulder and was about to tease him, but stopped as soon he saw the two girls in front of him.

Knowing them wasn't a hard thing for him. After all, he is the prince. And during the noble gatherings, he has seen these two girls who were nobles as well.

"You are…"

"It's been quite some time since we last met, prince August. I'm from Earl Messina's family. My name is Maria."

The tomboyish girl looked at August and bowed a bit, in noble manner and introduced herself.

And the pure cute girl beside her, she also bowed and gave her name to him.

"I am from Viscount Claude's family. My name is Cecily."

While Arthur and August both were looking and calculating the girls, Shin was shocked to know that the girls he saved before were nobles.

"You are both nobles?! Well, I can see Cecily being one, but even Maria…"

"What are you trying to imply, Shin?!"

Maria flared up while Cecily giggled looking at them.

"But why didn't you tell me?"

"Well, it is because people tend to act different after knowing we're nobility."

"Really can't say I feel your sentiment…"

"It's because you are a special case."

Arthur came in and said to him. Even he was baffled after looking at Shin's common sense.

"My name is Arthur Pendragon. And by the way I am not a noble."

Maria bowed but her eyes were glued to Arthur's face. She looked at him and couldn't believe in her fate to meet with a handsome boy in the first day of the academy.

"Hello?"

Arthur looked at her and then called her to come out of her mind.

"Y-Yes. Sorry. Hahaha! I am Maria. Nice you meet you, Arthur-san."

"Nice to meet you as well. She is Violet Evergarden."

"Hello, Maria-san."

Violet bowed a bit to greet her. And as always it happens, Maria was shocked inside looking at Violet. She never saw such a temperament in any other noble lady.

"Woah! Violet-san, you are so beautiful!"

"Thank you."

While she was busy admiring her, Cecily on the other hand looked at her and inside was a bit envy of Violet. Cecily having a low self-confidence, looked at Violet and could see her as a perfect noble lady.

'Does Shin-kun also like girl like her?'

"Now, let's not waste time and go to the seats."

Arthur smiled a bit, and then with the rest sat up in the ten seats for the top ten rankers. He looked down and saw many students sitting and looking at them.

Then with a corner of his eyes, he saw Yuri waving her hand smiling at him. All the students were clapping for the newcomer rankers.

Arthur smiled at her and then changed his gaze to look at the other high-profile guests. King Disuem, he could recognize the king having huge resemblance to August.

And he also saw both Merlin and Melinda. From the time he saw both of them, he was indeed impressed.

Both of them were strong, not as him both on their own league. The magic power inside them was indeed a lot.

'As expected of Sage. If they weren't this strong, I would have died laughing.'

Arthur coughed a bit to stop his laugh. but as soon he calmed himself, something clicked to him.

'This…'

Suddenly, Arthur realized something. he didn't expect himself to joke. He didn't find his cold and rational personality any more. If it was the Arthur before then he wouldn't even introduce himself to those noble girls.

Arthur was very surprised to found himself as his previous personality he had. But it was also obvious that he has matured.

Even though he doesn't have lofty ideal like becoming a hero, he indeed wants and still thrive to help as much people he wants under him.

And then he glanced at Violet and Yuri. Looking at both of them, he found the answer for his change.

Now, he could even think of jokes in his head. Before all he had was his thirst for power. And now his views have been widened.

Now, Arthur was not lost. Before he was saved by Violet but still had injuries. But now, he is cured.

Suddenly, something cleared inside him. And he felt a sudden surge of power inside him. Before his magic power was more like a fire burning with great power, but now it was calm like an ocean.

Arthur smiled a bit listening to the system's notification. Arthur's demeanor which was giving out a bit cold and indifferent look, was now changed into a bit soft and kind one.

Violet who was sitting beside him quickly noticed his change and looked at him. And her eyes widened with joy, but she kept her cool.

Now all of them are sitting in the sight of all, and it would be bad to grab extra attention.

She was stunned after hearing a sudden voice in her head. With no doubt, she knew that Arthur was talking to her.

{Violet. Thank you for devoting yourself to me.}

{N-No. I am just doing my duty.}

Violet was about to shed the tears of joy, but knowing that it would be a problem, she took out her handkerchief and hid her eyes before tears come out.

And she quickly wiped her eyes and smiled and looked flawless and lovable just like before.

Just like her, Yuri also noticed Arthur's change. And Arthur who is also in debt of her for her help, thanked her with telepathy.

And after listening to his heartfelt thanks, she also smiled more happily than ever.
