After sitting on my bed for a while I hear some people coming to my room again. And I get ready to run away again if it's the boy from earlier but once the door opens it is Josh.
'Oh it's just Josh, what does he want.'<Lucy>
"Get ready we are leaving in a few minutes."<Josh>
'What! I don't want to into public like this.'<Lucy>
Josh then closes the door and walks away.
'I guess I don't really have a choice though.'<Lucy>
I walk over and grab a jacket and put it on.
'Hopefully, the hood can hide my ears but I don't know what to do about the tail.'<Lucy>
After getting the jacket on I go out of my room and follow josh through the house and to his car.
"Umm, where are we going?"<Lucy>
"I was told to take you to get checked out by some doctors so that's where we are going."<Josh>
'The doctors? Well of course they want to check me out.'<Lucy>
After a few minutes of driving, we eventually reach our destination. And I get out of the car and try to hide my tail better. I got it hidden under my jacket but it still pokes out a little. And we make our way into the building and Josh walks up to the receptionist.
"You must be Josh Walker, we already have someone ready."<Receptionist>
She then gets up and looks at me while I try to hide in my jacket.
"Right this way."<Receptionist>
She leads us down a hallway and we wind up in front of a door.
"You can stay outside Mr. Walker while she goes in."<Receptionist>
Josh nods and takes a seat in a chair that by the door and I get directed inside.
And once inside I see a middle-aged man preparing stuff. And once the door shut he looks my way and notices me.
"You must be Lucy, right."<Doctor Miller>
"Y-yes."<Lucy>
'I hate going out like this, I hope this is quick.'<Lucy>
He leads me over to an examination chair and I struggle to get up on it.
"Ok, now I am going to listen to your heartbeat."<Doctor Miller>
"Ok."<Lucy>
I take off my jacket and he puts the stethoscope under my shirt snd moves it around to feel my heartbeat.
'So I guess it will be like a normal check-up.'<Lucy>
After he checks my heartbeat he looks at my eyes and blood pressure.
"Ok, now I am going to feel your tail."<Doctor Miller>
"Ok."<Lucy>
'Great not this again.'<Lucy>
He then starts to feel my tail and I tense up a little.
'Hmm, so from her reaction it must be sensitive.'<Doctor Miller>
After feeling my tail a little bit he moves to my ears and whenever he touched them they would make little movements.
"Ok now open your mouth."<Doctor Miller>
I open up my mouth and he looks inside a little.
He then walks off to a table and grabs something.
"Ok now for the last part."<Doctor Miller>
He starts to walk back to me and I look at what he has in his hand.
'U-Uh needle, no no I hate needles.'<Lucy>
The doctor notices my sudden change of expression.
"Don't worry it won't hurt. I just need to take a little blood."<Doctor>
He walks closer to me and comes right next to me.
"Ready?"<Doctor Miller>
I nod my head and clench my eyes shut while I feel the needle come into me.
"Ok done."<Doctor Miller>
He then puts a little smiley face sticker on the spot where he drew blood.
"Ok your all set to leave."<Doctor Miller>
"Ok."<Lucy>
I hop off the examination chair and walk towards the door and wave goodbye to the Doctor.
'At least he was nice to me.'<Lucy>
I walk out the door and meet back up with Josh.
Doctor Miller POV
'Finally, that damn monster is gone.'<Doctor>
I take out my phone and look at the picture on the lock screen.
'Those beasts killed Sophie and tons of others. They should all be just killed.'<Doctor Miller>
Lucy POV
'I am glad I didn't have to do anything too extreme at the check-up, but I still wish I didn't have to get my blood drawn. But the doctor seemed nice.'<Lucy>
After the check-up, Josh and I went back to the fostor home and I rushed back to my room but to my surprise, I find a teddy bear on the bed.
'Where did this come from? Did someone here give it to me?'<Lucy>
I look at the teddy bear for a little bit and after I take a shower and when I come out of the bathroom I find a plate of food in my room and I eat it and go to sleep.
