My name is Motegi Sekino. I'm 24 years old, and I'm currently living in the magical world of Acrusse.

But before the story continues, let me tell you how I got transported here.

I was in my apartment after I finished my three days of overtime work at a black company. After I finished eating my cup ramen for dinner, I drank a canned beer while I was looking at my phone. Then suddenly, an advertisement popped up on my phone.

Well, it definitely looks like a fishy real estate advertisement, right? You can judge it by the way they offered something nearly impossible with those generic words. And it made me frustrated because that advertisement just kept popping up on my phone every day for almost a week.

I decided to open that advertisement and fill out the form inside it. I was surprised that I only had to put my name and my age on that form. After I finished writing that form, I immediately finished my drink and went to sleep.

While I was sleeping, I felt like I was lying on the grass, and I also felt breathing air through my body, so I opened my eyes slowly. The first thing that I saw were tree boughs and leaves above me.

I turned my head to the left, and I saw my body lying on the grass, just like what I felt. When I looked around, I was surrounded by a big shadow that protected me from the sunlight.

"Wait...why am I here?"

I definitely remembered that I slept on my bed, so when I was awakened in a different place, I was confused. After I got up, a notification screen with the word "congratulations" popped up in front of me, and then I heard a male voice.

"Congratulations on your move to Acrusse!!! We already expected you to come here, and as we promised, we'll give you some benefits that will help you to live here. We give you four skills: [Appraisal], [Language Comprehension], [Temporary Boost], and [Storage] with something helpful inside it. You can check your own status by simply saying "Status Open." We also give you some money to live your first days here. So, enjoy your new life, and we wish you the best of luck, Motegi-san."

That man's voice spoke too fast, so I couldn't even ask him. And after I tried to remember what he said, I noticed a familiar word.

"Did he say Acrusse?"

That was the name of a place that was written in the fishy advertisement. Then, I saw a walled city far away from where I was standing. From what I saw, it looked like a medieval European city. At that moment, I just realized that I was really transported to Acrusse.

"So...it seems like I'm in another world, huh? Okay, I get it. Now, let's remember what he said again. If I'm not mistaken, he said something like "Status Open.""

I looked at the screen, and I clicked on a weapon inside my storage. The weapon, which was a silver longsword, fell to the ground, and I took it. Then I used [Appraisal] to check the sword.

I was surprised when I saw the sword's ability. That Ladron sword can absorb HP and MP, so I thought that I'd got a powerful weapon. Then, I wondered if I used that sword and [Temporary Boost], maybe I could easily level up.
