13 Trouble (3)

Max rushed towards him with a war cry, the wolf didn't react as if it would hurt his pride if he made the first move.

BANG!

Max thrust the spear to the wolf's feet making a loud sound, since Max didn't have much time to relax before this wolf pounced at them, he wasn't able to allocate the WP points.

He hurriedly put all the points in strength which made him feel refreshed and strong as if he was the hulk right now. It was the adrenaline thinking. The new strength helped a little as he was able to place a little scratch on the wolf's paw.

The wolf furrowed his brows but didn't mind the scratch. It used one of its skills that made his paws blazing red as if the iron was left on fire and it made it red from immense heat.

It tried to scratch Max but to its dismay, Max stepped back. Kyle and Maria came toward the wolf, Maria fearlessly went to the wolf and attacked it with her agility.

While they were keeping the wolf busy, Joey and his group made a plan, he jumped on the wolf's unmoving tail while he was fighting the others, he climbed it and was on the wolf's back.

The wolf knew what was happening but couldn't do anything but move around hoping he would fall off if he tried to go for the human on its back, he would get injured by 3 in the front.

Joey stabilized himself and took a few steps to reach its neck. He used the spear and went for the neck, his strength was even more than Max's as he was putting his points since level 1 on his strength.

The spearhead went inside the neck, surprising the wolf and making him whimper a little. He sort of galloped like a horse with his front.

"Fuck" Joey jumped reluctantly.

Meanwhile Richard and Rose were trying to cut the wolf's skin to help the others but to their dismay, they didn't have the strength required for the job.

"We can't fucking do anything right now, Richard..!" Rose shouted while continuously moving so as to not get hit.

Richard thought for a while,he looked at the wolf and his eyes shone as he saw a light wound on the wolf's front paw, a small amount of blood dripping from it.

"We've got to hit where there is already a wound, that way we can bleed it out quickly." RIchard said in a hurry. He continued " This is our only chance to prove our worth to the group. LETS GO...!"

Everyone under Richard and Rose became encouraged at a dangerous level as they started making reckless moves here and there. Like one of the girls were sent flying by the wolf's tail which did not damage much but made her more cautious.

All this time, Max and Joey were the main attackers as they were the only ones who could even put a scratch on the wolf's skin.

The fight went on for quite some time, Kyle with Maria were assisting Max who was getting small injuries. Max's hands were all bloody due to the skin again and again getting rubbed by the spear due to the strong colission between him and the wolf.

At this point, the wolf was panting. It was higher level than all of them but fighting 10 evolved humans who were vigilant of it's attacks and were even able to attack him made it more vary. It tried many times to use his fire ball skill but to it's dismay, Max stopped it each time by trying to attack it's neck as an opportunity.

The wolf had started making wrong decisions, blood flowing from many places especially the paws, legs and the neck wound.

"Everyone, the end has come, just push forward a little more...!! We're gonna win!!." Max shouted with a wide grin, he had taken his revenge from the wolf who had belittled him before. When the wolf was fighting and snarling at Joey, he went for the final move, Making a last thrust with all his might with the spear horizontally at the left front leg.

It went right through the skin, the bone decapitating the leg itself. The fire element in the decapitated leg's paw extinguished. The wolf whimpered while making a howling face, blood came spurting out of the leg joint. It started hoping with 3 legs.

Joey was also not behind, as if getting inspired from the move made by Max, he went for the leg behind. This was a chance he got due to grouped achivements of all,the blood loss and too much to count wounds on it's huge body, the fatigue,the mental breakdown of loosing a leg. It all came as an advantage.

With both the decapitated legs the wolf fell down, it looked pitiable but all had grown accostomed to the situation, it was kill or be killed. Max and Joey had too much fatigue to even lift a finger,so Kyle and the others started stabbing at the neck. The wolf couldn't do anything but be unconcious at this point. The world was really a cruel place to live in.

Aftersome very serious stabs from the grou, they were taking by surprise by the message that popped in front of everyone.

[level up]

Kyle didn't know what to say. He got a whopping 180 EXP!. He saw everyone and saw them all wide eyed.

From the wolf,

Max got 300 EXP

Joey got 280

Maria and Kyle 180

Rose and Richard 120

And the others got above hundred EXP just enough to reach level 3.

"I got the class options" Max said with wide eyes and hoarse voice.

Everyone shuddered at the comment and looked at him with different emotions.

"Me too" Joey said with obvious exhauston all over the face.

"What do you mean by 'options'" Kyle asked with excited voice. This made all the attention to Max leaving Joey to himself.

"I got a panel showing me 5 options to choose for my class" Kyle said with exhausted voice.

"WHat are they...????"

Everyone literally asked at the same time.

"We will tell you but not now, It's not safe here." Max said while eyeing Joey who nodded with eyes closed.

They understood the point and gave him and Joey a hand to reach the hideout as quickly as possible. They were too excited for the information about the class.

But not everything goes how we want it to go, right..?
