2 Somewhere New

When Kyle, Mathew, and Maria were trying for the exit. Something very strange happened as white sparkles were coming out of everyone's body.

"Oh, shit...!!Kyle, your hand!"

When Kyle saw his hand, his mind froze, he couldn't think about anything and sweat could be seen on his head.

Kyle's hand was starting to disappear while white sparkles could be seen coming out. When he saw Matt and Maria, he could see Mat's left year disappearing and Maria's ponytail. Sparkles were coming out from everyone as they kept disappearing.

"We're all gonna die!!!"

"KYAA!!Something is wrong with my legs!" a girl said while sitting on the ground as there was no foot through which she could walk.

Everyone was shouting and crying and some kids even fainted. Coincidentally there was no teacher in the hallway, either way, it would have not made much difference.

In the end, Kyle couldn't do anything other than be despaired. Slowly his whole body turned into sparkles and he disappeared with many others.

Unknown days later....

Everything on earth seemed to change as all the things that were once there had turned into ruins...Kyle's university could not be seen as a normal university but thousand year old ruin with nothing broken as if it had been standing for many years without any hindrances.

But it was not so dissolute anymore as the same sparkles illuminated again making every person who disappeared appear again at their respective places.

Kyle, Mathew and Maria and many others just appeared within a second again. They did not know what happened as what happened to them was for only a matter of seconds than what actually happened.

"What the actual fuck..." Kyle said with a dumbfounded expression while looking everywhere. The hallway of the university they were in looked like a ghost house with cracks here and there, dust everywhere and....ahead them a bunch of rats as big as a cat.

When everyone were reacting in their own way they got a message in front of their eyes in a rather blue screen. No one did anything but observe and heard it as they didn't know how to react.

[SYSTEM INITIATING....]

A robotic feminine voice resounded in every person's mind. Some had there head tilted, some exited as if they knew where this was going and some felt they have gone senile.

Kyle didn't like this was all going. He had read too many novel like this that it would be idiotic to know about it. He had got a damn system.

'It would have been good if I would be the only one who got the system....sigh' Kyle thought while sighing.

"Hey Kyle, this is not the time to daze off!" Maxwell said while pulling Kyle a little closer while saying "Look at the end of the hallway!!"

When Kyle looked at the end of the hallway, he noticed that the rat like creatures were coming towards them at great speed.

These rats were about as big as a cat with grey skin, two yellow teeth coming out of the mouth. They looked rather creepy with screeching sound every second.

"OOOH.....a little feisty...haha~" Maria said while running with the two boys. You see, Maria was a little unique, as unlike as it seems, she was never scared of anything, which becomes her greatest asset in the future.

"Drop the jokes.....we can't really keep running in a same line with all the people around us." Kyle said while keep muttering something.

"What is he doing?" said Maria said with a curious glint in her eyes.

"It's a creepy habit of his....he thinks loudly" Matt sighed while running "But these rats are not that fast. We can outrun them if not for all these people ahead us."

"Wait, I got a plan....if the structure of the university is the same as before. you see, at the end of the hallway there are two routes. One moves towards the dormitory and the other the exit. We can't go exit as we don't know what's outside, so we will go to our room. If i am right we can hide for some time." Kyle said while looking at both his friends.

Maria was not very sure and had a concerned look but then Matt hold her hand and " Don't worry, I know he seems unreliable but trust him for me....I know him." Matt said to Maria to which she first thought but in the end nodded.

"AAAAHH....HELPP!!"

When they saw behind, one of the student's leg was grabbed by a rat and in a matter of seconds, around 10 rats were fawning all over him. It was very horrifying scene which scarred many as they stopped running.

Kyle saw this and immediately steeled his heart to leave behind those fucking rats. But all plans never go successful...
