11 Camping, Adventure, And Shopping

The rain fell from the sky but a group of people never need to hide. They were camping while it was raining in the open.

" I can't believe that I would ever camp out when it's raining like this," Roy commented.

" Isn't it amazing? I have never seen a skill like this." Conan also commented and then added, " It must be a very rare skill."

After leaving the capital and crossing three towns, there have been no troubles so far. Dave enjoyed it very much, he was relieved that those people didn't come after them for revenge.

" Mr. Jin, eat more, you are so skinny, shouldn't you eat more." Max offered more food to him, he was in charge of cooking, and Dave had to agree that Max was very good at this.

" Thank you but I have had enough." He refused because unlike these people he didn't have such a habit. Instead, he enjoyed talking with them and learning more about this world.

He also found out one interesting fact about ' Stats', One can increase the stats without leveling up. It was possible with training, for example, if someone has strong muscles then he would have a higher start compared to others. He also found out that many people have 0.5 stat at level one.

' I should finally start working out after I reach Luxor.' Dave thought as he touched his hands, they didn't feel as strong as others. The people he had met like Oscar, Bushche, and these adventurers, all of them had strong muscles.

" I think we should buy supplies when we reach the next town. We have barely any food left," Max spoke. " And, it's because of our gluttonous leader."

" I didn't even eat that much," Conan tried to protest but everyone knew that it was true.

The atmosphere was very lively in front of the bonfire, Dave didn't remember when's last he had such a time. He hoped for the future to be the same as well and looked at the sky filled with dark clouds.

His eyes caught a glimpse of something flying in the air, it was the airship of this world. Something he had never seen but knew that they looked like that.

" That's an airship right?" Dave spoke and others also looked at the sky.

" You are right, I wonder who is traveling in that, can they see us?" Roy spoke up.

" It looks fun!" Max spoke enthusiastically.

" To me, it looks dangerous but yeah it also looks fun traveling in that," Dave replied and thought after seeing the design ' How is that thing even flying in such bad weather?'

After that their camping continued like normal as they enjoyed their food and set up tents under the invisible barrier created by Dave. So far Invisible barrier was the most useful skill Dave had.

He kept on thinking about how he only had one slot left, he wanted a powerful skill to fill that slot and he was being very picky about it. Maybe after some time, he would look for a way to fulfill those difficult conditions to gain one good skill.

Before reaching the town they stopped to see an amazing view of the grassland. They were at a higher ground from where a slope of grassland started and since it was the time for sunrise it was a very beautiful view. The air was very pleasant to breathe and made Dave and others feel relaxed. They could see several people who were feeding the grass to their cattle.

The grass was a little wet so walking over it felt like waking over a sponge. Because of the rain, the weather wasn't too hot or too cold, it was...Perfect.

" This is what I like about being an adventurer!" Conan exclaimed, the others were also enjoying the weather and the scenery.

" That's the next town, right?" Dave asked looking at the entrance to a human settlement.

" Yes, it's our next destination. According to the map, it's called Lieven town." Max answered. " It's one of the smaller towns on our way to Luxor but We can probably get everything we need here."

Even though everyone enjoyed the weather and the scenery. They still need proper rest so after looking for a few more minutes they were on their way to the town.

There were different varieties of fruits in this world, and some of the fruits that Dave was easily able to recognize were grapes, apples, and peaches. This world also had fruits that were not found back on earth or were very rare.

He came across one such fruit that had a green layer, and its inside had juicy red flesh. At first, Dave thought that it was a mini watermelon but it tasted more like litchi. Curiously he appraised the fruit to find out what exactly was this.

His appraisal skill was useful but it didn't give as much information as he needed. He can not complain since it was just a level 1 skill and had to be satisfied with these brief descriptions.

He didn't waste his mana on appraising the other fruits, instead asked the vendors who even laughed at him for not knowing the names of the fruit. Dave wasn't offended by them as they spoke in a friendly manner and even bought some.

Thanks to Roy and Max also being there, he was able to negotiate at the right price. These fruits were not cheap, but still Dave bought a lot. This was the first town where he had seen such a market.

He wasn't worried about them going bad as he planned to share them with others and he knew that these guys had a very big appetite.

Even after buying enough supplies, they decided to stay in this town for three more days because the town folk informed them about an upcoming festival. Dave wanted to enjoy more and so did the others, a festival was the perfect opportunity for them.
