1 Chapter 1: Even the strongest fighters get old, don’t they?

Somewhere, in a clearing hidden deep in a gigantic forest, a small house was built out of wood in front of a small and clean lake shimmering in bluish and greenish colors reflecting parts of the sky and the trees around.

Together with the wooden house, it created a very peaceful atmosphere in the clearing, that was able to completely calm someone's mind if he or she were to see this scene.

"Hihahahahahha!!"

The quietness was only disturbed by loud laughter that came from the inside of the house. In there, sitting on a chair was an old man who, judging by the wrinkles on his face and his gray and long hair and beard, looked to be around 70 years old. But what was a bit strange about the old mans looks were his thick arms with bulging muscles covered with deep scars, that are revealed since the man is simply wearing old jeans and a black sleeveless shirt.

"Hihahah hihahaha! God Luffy makes me laugh so hard every fcking time during banquet scenes! Sights... Sometimes I wish that I could be part of his crew."

Yells old man Ray Convellt to no one in particular. Right now he was reading one of his favorite mangas online about a youth with a straw hat that wants to find the One Piece. It is one of his favorites besides the fate series.

"Ok Ok enough for now it's getting late and I should go and catch something to eat."

Speaks Ray to no one particular. It's just that he lived in this house by himself for more than 20 years so at some point he started to talk to himself. After putting his phone away he stood up and grabbed something that looks like a spear which is basically just a long pointy and sharp stone put on a wooden staff and bound together.

With his 'weapon' in hand and a wide smile on his wrinkled and scarred face the old man stepped out of his house then closed the door and was about to go hunt, but suddenly he turned sharply to the side and saw a abnormally big grizzly a few meters away from him. The grizzly looked at the old man but strangely Ray still had a smile on his face. He spoke out again

"To think that the 'food' would come to me by itself, I got lucky today again! Hihahaha!"

As if he understood what Ray said the grizzly roared at him first before charging with full force in his direction but the old man didn't get scarred nor did he panic like most would do. He strengthened his grip on his spear and started to take long and deep breaths. He took his second breath when the bear was already about to hit him and tear him apart but still the old man didn't feel fear. He felt an inner strength awakening inside of him after he started to breath and he perfectly controlled this power and willed it into his legs, feet and waist so he took a step to the side and turned is upper body just when the bear jumped him. After successfully dodging the man turned to the bear again, spread his legs a bit from each other and lowered his center of gravity while gripping the spear with both hands and brought it near his body.

Ray again took deep breaths and ignited some kind of power source inside him but this time he did it faster. He willed his 'inner strength' into his legs waist and arms before pulling the spear back a little and looking at the bear, who stood on his two legs with a towering height of 4.30m. It tried to smash the old man with his weight since it was bigger and taller than Ray.

"Sights... to think this teddy thinks it can beat me, do I look that weak to you?"

Actually to humans Ray would look quite terrifying with his 2.10m height and his wide shoulders with his thick muscles together with scars on his arms and face but the bear doesn't give a shit about his looks or height since it sees itself as the predator.

Ray let the power in his arms and waist explode and thrust the spear swiftly towards the bears head, with such high strength and speed that in less than a second the spear pierced through the bears skull and brain stopping the bear in its motion.

"Ray: 13, Bears, that somehow always find their ways to my house and attack me: 0"

Said Rai while a wide grin crept up his face. But just when he was about to pull his spear back and skin the bear he suddenly felt a strange pain in his chest. His view got blurry and he couldn't identify anything he saw. Breathing was suddenly difficult. Shock and panic invaded Rays mind and disturbed his thoughts so he could only lift one hand and put it on his chest where he felt the pain. That's when he understood. He couldn't feel his heart beat. Ray instinctively knew his time has come and he too would die today, just that he was not killed by a gigantic beast or strong opponent but instead from old age after he killed a freaking over 4m tall bear with a self made spear.

His life started to resurface in his mind making him remember the time when he was bullied as a kid, which is why he begun to seek strength. The time he grew up training his body until he started to learn martial arts. During his youth he even traveled the world learning from various masters various techniques until he was called the strongest martial artist at the age of 40. Without suffering as much as a scratch he beat up a group of 80 armed men. At some point he thought about creating his own martial arts so he retreated into the forest he was living in till now and combined all he knew about techniques and martial arts and created his own. He also found his love for Animes and Mangas around that time.

He let a self mocking smile form on his face as he realized that, no matter what he did how strong he was or how many titles he was given, he would still end up in this situation facing his past before letting it all fade. And so he did while welcoming the overtaking darkness with an open mind and burden free soul.

Like that the strongest martial artist on earth died standing strong with a spear in his hands impaling a huge bear and a smile on his face.

At least that's what should be happening by the looks of it. Who knows where his soul went off to
