Ch 4.5 Uncle

I left Yuki at home after breakfast like I do every morning, but today was different. Today, not only do I have the mysterious voucher in my pocket, but now I have to contemplate the box from Xpedion.

"This makes no sense, no sense at all," I said out loud where anyone could hear me as I paced back and forth. Maybe I've been talking too loud lately? Maybe I need to rethink how I work and do my job?

For the last 10 years, I've taken care of Yuki, sent him to school, and given him everything he needs. Provided for him!! Besides some family and people around town, who else knows where Yuki lives? Why would someone send him this stuff...I know I keep my life with Yuki separate from my "work" life!!!

After pacing back and forth for what seemed an eternity, which I know it couldn't be! I took some deep deep breaths and went to do what I always do when I leave Yuki during the day…

Except today I can't concentrate on anything else but that voucher and box.

I started to pace back and forth and back and forth. Probably was causing a permanent mark where I paced but I didn't care Since I was in the air anyways. As I looked behind me, I noticed a white cloud following me.

"Why did I leave the box with Yuki!"

I thought that was really not smart of me and I'm usually a couple hundred steps ahead of everyone else in the Brain department!

He's currently a 10-year-old boy with all the curiosity in this world. If he opens it what will he find inside? Will the truth come out or stay locked in the box! Only time will tell… I should try to look ahead to help calm me down, but am unable to for some odd reason.

As I paced continuously I realized it was morning for Yuki again.

I was getting ready to head back to the house as I sensed someone approaching, but when I looked behind me I froze when I saw Xpedion…
