47 Movie Theater Event

The arrow whistles with a fairly low sound. But somehow Barry's ears could hear it.

*CRACK!*

It stuck into the Corrupted Bronze Statue's head. The statue then let out a growling sound like a monster in pain from its throat.

From here Barry can't see its stats. But he is sure that his Life has decreased a lot. Maybe, he didn't need to do anything and let Danny kill it with the power of his new bow.

So, Barry and Elaine just waited while watching white silvery arrows rain down on the Corrupted Bronze Statue.

Finally, its Life fell to 0 and it lay dead on top of the tower with its body impaled.

"I leveled up three times! HAHAHA" Danny shouted with a delightful tone and laugh.

It must have felt amazing for him to finally be able to kill a monster with his hand.

Barry and Elaine smiled seeing that. That means now the strength of your group friends has increased significantly.

And it turns out that the Cursed Bronze Statue gives a lot of experience points.

"Is that the Destruction Creature that we have to kill?" Elaine asked something important.

Barry frowned and thought for a moment. Then he said. "But, we haven't received a text saying that our Quest is complete."

"So that means it's not a creature we have to kill," Elaine said with a disappointed sigh.

Barry shook his head. "It's not. Let's keep looking."

After the Corrupted Bronze Statue died they summoned Anna and Victoria.

It turns out that Anna has killed 5 zombies with her Fortification skill. The zombies in this place were so aggressive that they immediately charged at those who were hiding in a ticket booth.

Then Anna's Fortification immediately blew them away. However, those zombies are persistent and continue to attack.

In the end, they died with broken bodies after being repeatedly hit by Anna's Fortification.

Because of that, Anna managed to rise to Level 5 and once again used her free Attribute points to her Magic Power.

'If we can find a way to upgrade that skill, then it will be a very useful skill. Maybe it can fortify a whole base.'

Barry thought then nodded to himself.

"The big statue that Danny killed was not the Destruction Creature. So, our Quest is not finished yet," Barry said.

His words immediately awakened them from their brief happiness.

"Alright. Let's find that creature," Danny said with a grin on his face.

"You seem happy with your new bow. Is it really that great?" Anna asked her brother with a faint smile.

"Oh, you have no idea," Danny said with a smile. 

Anna snorted. "That's good if you're happy with your toy."

Afterward, they venture back into the cursed amusement park to look for another clue.

[ Objective 2: Go to The City's cursed movie theater! ]

The text appeared in their vision. Without thinking about wasting any more time, they immediately moved to look for the movie theater.

Of course, finding the right movie theater is not an easy matter. There are many movie theaters in this city and they still haven't found the one that seems cursed.

After several hours of wandering around, they finally found it.

A movie theater covered in a dark purple mist-like aura. Viewed from anywhere, that's the cursed movie theater they have to visit.

"Finally, we found it," Barry said while looking at the cinema building.

"Doesn't look like a place you could use for a date, huh?" Danny said.

"Let's get in."

Before they entered, Barry didn't forget to ask for the Strength Enhancement potions that Victoria had concocted.

She distributed a bottle of Strength Enhancement and Magic potion to each of them.

And they entered the building.

They all entered with full alert because they knew this place was not a place that would welcome them with hospitality.

A few minutes passed after they entered the building. Zombies were coming towards them from various directions. Apart from that, mutated rats, which are pests, also appear.

For survivors who are already at a fairly high level, those monsters are not a problem. They could kill them easily even if they were fighting in a fairly tight space.

Barry finally rises to Level 10 after killing several zombies.

Beyond his expectations, he found something in his vision instantly after he leveled up.

Barry stopped in his tracks, staring at the red text in his vision with wide eyes.

He focused on the text and opened it.

"Barry, what's wrong?" Elaine asked.

"Wait." Barry raised his hand without looking at Elaine.

Barry immediately chose his most powerful skill to see how he could upgrade it.

[Kill 150 normal-grade mutated creatures with Gravity Manipulation to upgrade this skill to Level 2.]

A wide grin appeared on Barry's face. 'Finally!'

For him, the Level 1 Gravity Manipulation was already strong enough. Now that he found a way to upgrade it, he was sure that his strength would increase several times more.

"You will get a way to upgrade your skills at Level 10." Barry immediately conveyed the information to the others.

Hearing what he said, they looked at each other. A glint of excitement and optimism appeared in their eyes.

"That's amazing!" Elaince claimed. "A lot more motivation to gain experience."

"Yes. "But we have to focus on completing this movie theater building first," Barry said.

Elaine and the others nodded.

After a few minutes of walking in the building, suddenly a screen in one of the theaters lit up.

Realizing that it was no coincidence, they went inside and were immediately greeted by text filling the screen.

[ Before the city turned into a cursed ruin. It was a beautiful and prosperous city. And then…]

"I guess we have to watch the movie first," Barry said.

He was sure that they would get clues in the film playing on the screen

So, they decided to sit and watch. Without relaxing their vigilance on their surroundings.
