10 Have No Choice But To Fight

Elaine was almost paralyzed with fear. She had never felt something like this before, even when she massacred several of her classmates snd people who had turned into zombies.

But what's actually happening right now? Why suddenly her legs can't move to let her escape?

"Grrrr..."

Meanwhile the giant zombies are getting closer. He was emitting blackish steam from his nose and mouth that smelled very foul. Elaine, who smelled the aroma, felt her stomach twist.

"What are you doing?!"

Barry's voice from behind startled her. Elaine immediately gasped.

But it was too late...

The zombie already swinging his bulky hand to her head.

Seeing that, Barry immediately activated his Gravity Manipulation. His body suddenly turned lighter, and he kicked the wall behind him.

Barry's body shot out at incredible speed. Until finally he arrived in front of Elaine just in time before the arm landed on Elaine's face.

And then, he manipulated gravity again to press his body down.

*DANG!*

The attack should be able to throw Barry back. But he just stayed in his place.

"Go!" Barry shouted at Elaine. "Look for a chance to attack while I distract him!"

Elaine, who had recovered from her fear, blinked several times. Then dashed to get away.

Barry manipulated gravity again, making his body become a lighter and kicking the floor.

He shot up until he almost hit the ceiling, then stabbed his dagger into one of the giant zombie's eyes.

The zombie let out a cry of pain. But because it was only a small dagger, the attack didn't seem enough to do any significant damage to him and only made him angrier.

Barry cursed under his breath. The giant zombie swung his arm again, this time with a force that seemed stronger.

But Barry turned his body upside down and swiftly kicked the ceiling to return to the ground.

He didn't know how he was able to use this gravity manipulation well enough even though it was his first time using it. But Barry got an idea, most likely it was because of his Martial Arts passive skill.

Barry then slide passes the giant zombie. Even though the zombies are big and his strength is extraordinary, there is still a setback from that strength. He's not that fast.

Barry looked at Elaine who was hiding, conveying through his gaze that he had to help her when she saw the opportunity coming.

Then, he lightened the gravitational field around his body again and shot away in another direction. There is a little park at the back there. That should be enough space for him to face the zombie.

In the midst of his fear, Barry realized that the zombie would definitely give him a lot of rewards.

The giant zombie who had targeted Barry as his target immediately ran after him. His footsteps made the walls shake.

Elaine swallowed hard, calming herself. She then stood up from where she was about to follow Barry. 

But, a hand that she didn't know was there grabbed her arms. Elaine turned her head and saw Ryan's frightened face.

"Let's go! The gate is near!" Ryan said.

"What do you mean? We have to help him!" Elaine replied.

"Are you crazy? This is our chance to escape from here!" Ryan still persisted and grabbed Elaine's arm harder.

Elaine shook off Ryan's arm and said. "We have to help him or we will leave you!"

"We can die, just leave him. At least this way it's just him who will dies!" Ryan said.

"Just him?!" Elaine stared at Ryan in disbelief. Then, not wanting to waste any time on him, she stood up. "I'll go. Run if that's what you want, coward!"

Elaine prepared to run towards Barry. However, a strong blow hits her nape, making her fall to the floor, unconscious.

Behind her, Ryan was panting while looking at her with a cold gaze. "You should have listened to me. I saved you from death just now."

Meanwhile, in the small park, Barry was thrown for the umpteenth time by the giant zombie's attack. He can block it with his dagger but the force behind the attack is too strong.

He scanned around, but still couldn't see Elaine or Ryan. 

'Don't tell me they ran away!'

Barry jumped again to avoid the zombie's attack. 

If indeed Elaine and Ryan ran away, then it can't be helped. In the end, they only think about their own safety.

"Well, fuck me. It looks like I have to take care of it myself."

Barry has used his Stealth but it has no effect on the zombie. So the zombie turned out to be higher than Level 10.

Its not good. So, Barry must utilize his Gravity Manipulation and Martial Arts to the fullest.

He looked at his dagger. There's only a little left of the weapons' durability. In a moment it looked like that dagger would be destroyed. But Barry hopes that at least the dagger is destroyed after he kills that big zombie.

The zombie let out a growl and stared at him with a blood frenzy gaze. He dashed, his footsteps made everything around him shake.

Barry, instead of retreating, also dashed towards him with his dagger ready in hand. No more retreating even though Barry only relies on his guts as a fighting tool.

His attributes are weak. But, he believes in his mental and wits.

After all, Barry had no other choice but to attack and win. The zombies couldn't possibly let him escape. And his colleagues who he hoped would help instead ran away.

So, he attacks. Once again, Barry manipulated gravity around his body so he could float easily.

He kicked off the ground, slashing the dagger towards the zombie's one remaining eye. 

The zombies once again let out screams full of pain. Barry grabbed his neck then turned to the other side of his head while the zombie's arm swing only hit empty air.

He stabbed again, this time into his chest. Barry stabbed his dagger several times but the zombie still didn't fall.

He kicked the zombie's shoulder and then spun in the air. His feet found a tree branch, Barry kicked again and launch with his dagger drawn.

The dagger stabbed into the zombie's back, then Barry manipulated gravity to pull his body down. He pulled the dagger across the zombie's back up to his waist. Blood poured down Barry's face.

He shot to the side avoiding the zombie's swinging hand.

Barry grinned because this time he saw that the zombie had started to stagger. 'Okay. I can kill it.'

Barry dashed again towards the zombie.
