41 Dungeon Run

Lightning struck strongly and killed 2 low-leveled Normal zombies. Elaine immediately got her experience. She formed a grin on her face because of that.

Meanwhile, next to him, Barry walked towards to the horde, holding a sword in his hand.

With the presence of Victoria here who has the ability to make a magic potion, Barry has no intention of holding back in using his skills.

He used his Gravity Manipulation instantly as soon as he was in front of the horde.

*WOONGGG!*

A dozen mutated animals and zombies floated into the air. Then Barry jumped into their midst in the air and swung his sword.

Barry can easily cut the monsters. He manipulated gravity again and made the pieces of bones and flesh of zombies and mutated animals fall down with a great force and seriously injured the other abominations below.

Series of notifications appeared in Barry's vision. But he ignored it for now because it was all just an unimportant notification.

He also got three Normal daggers from the horde.

He continues to do that, manipulating gravity combined with his Martial Arts passive skills to kill monsters.

Barry, who previously only needed a little experience, finally managed to rise to Level 9 in a matter of seconds. The number of zombies and mutated animals here was much greater so he could gain a lot of experience faster than before.

The same thing happened to Elaine and Danny. Elaine is the second strongest after him with Level 8. Meanwhile Danny is the third but he is only at Level 4.

Its not because Danny's abilities are lacking, but because his weapon is less effective. Bullets are unable to kill zombies and mutated animals as fast as Elaine's lightning or Barry's sword.

On the other hand, Anna, who was not used to being in situations like this, could only stay at the very back with Victoria. The middle aged woman could only stare with anxiety and fear.

None of this escaped Barry's attention. Even though he is busy with his own affairs.

'I have to do something about them.'

Barry saw that the horde here was almost gone. He had already reached half of the amount of experience needed to advance to Level 10.

His Magic Power is also almost exhausted again. So he floated back towards Victoria.

"There's a lot of blood there. You can create Magic potion now?" Barry asked Victoria.

Victoria immediately nodded like a soldier receiving orders.

"I brought my equipment," said Victoria, pointing to her dingy backpack.

"Good." Barry was impressed. "Wait here."

Barry then went towards Elaine who was still busy shooting her lightning bolt.

"Hey, save some life zombies for them," Barry said to her.

Elaine nodded because she knew what he meant.

After that the two of them fought again. But this time they only cut the limbs of the zombies and mutated animals or did other things that could make them weak.

Barry then approached Anna and Victoria. "You have to start killing to level up," he said.

Victoria once again just nodded obediently. Meanwhile, Anna still looked a little doubtful.

"You have to kill them to survive, Anna," Barry said to her in a gentle tone. "They're not humans anymore after all."

"Y-You right," Anna said.

"Danny!"

Danny comes to them.

"Let's help them level up," Barry said.

Danny nodded his head. Even though Barry is much younger than him, Danny doesn't mind listening to his orders.

He wasn't an idiot and knew straight away that Barry understood far more about what was going on with the world than him. So Danny knows that it will be wise if he listens to him.

After all, based on his experience, he had a hunch that Barry had qualities as a leader. Even though he is still lacking in several aspects due to his age.

Danny approached Anna and told his sister what she should do.

Barry gave the Normal daggers he got to Anna and Victoria. Its not a very strong weapon but it is definitely enough to just kill weakened zombies and mutated animals.

Victoria acted first and managed to kill three zombies with ease. After killing them, she immediately took their blood and put it in a glass tube that she took from her backpack.

"I'll start making potions now," Victoria said.

Barry nodded. "Don't worry. I will protect you from threats while you make it."

Victoria stared at Barry for a few moments with a look that was difficult to interpret.

But that didn't last long. She immediately took out a portable stove and boiled the blood directly on it.

Victoria then moved her hand as if she was pulling the surrounding air into her tube.

Barry who saw this frowned at first, but then he saw that the air that Victoria touched had turned bluish. As soon as the air entered the tube, it immediately mixed with the blood of zombies and mutated animals and triggered some kind of reaction.

About ten seconds later the liquid had boiled. Victoria then poured water from a bottle that she took from her backpack.

Barry is somehow convinced that only Victoria with her skills can turn air into an ingredient for making magic potions.

"KHUUAAAKHH!!!"

When Barry was focused on watching Victoria's process, he heard a loud screeching sound from above.

He saw five large black birds flying and swooping. Seemingly toward their direction.

"Victoria, is it still long?" Barry asked.

"Thirty seconds," answered Victoria.

"Can you make it faster?"

"No. I'm sorry. My abilities are limited to this."

Actually thirty seconds is fast enough to produce a potion that can fill 20 Magic Power. But, Barry felt that it was still too long for this situation.

"It's okay. I'll try to hold on for thirty seconds," Barry said while gripping his sword tightly. "Elaine!"

Elaine, who was called, immediately looked up. She blurted out a cursed word when she saw the five birds swooping toward them.
