Friends and Past Enemies

I walked down stairs and saw a Korean man in a black suit, his red hair was slicked back and his blue eyes gave an aura of oppression but I knew that it was just a facade for work. "Good Morning Meg. How's it feel to be 16." The old man said with a sly smile.

Megami just rolled her eyes. 'One year left until I enter the simulation.' Megami thought. The Simulation was a process that the remaining humans thought of after world war 5 Which was the third nuclear war in history and the final. They made a simulation where you have to relive what happened while using full dive technology with full sensory sync. It was deemed the best way to prevent people from using or even thinking of making nuclear weapons of any kind. But even with that humans still made a portal to a magic world by trying to enter the 4th dimension and it has an otherworldly seal that was deemed unbreakable to boot.

On our side, we can't even enter if we had done something evil before or have even the smallest of evil intention we will be blocked by an otherworldly force.

On the other side it is roughly the same except instead of just evil being monitored to a less of an extent it also only allows those who are truly just looking to learn and make new discoveries. New things are being made for life convenience and entertainment weekly but I, as Earth's best thief, I don't trust or hold them to that, so I make my own things from nature, even my computers' materials were constructed by me.

"It feels like time passed. Oh, Sorry I didn't mean to sound like you." I said sarcastically with a smirk.

The old man let out a loud laugh. "If my daughter keeps talking like that she will find herself an old lady before she gets bedded."

My face turned red as he pulled me into a hug. "I didn't know my Father loved chocolate Bears more than his own Lover. I Don't know how to break it to Dad." I said tauntingly with a loud sniff and a tear in my eye.

His face darkened as he looked at me with the most serious face he could muster. "Please don't bring this up now." He said in a fearful manner.

"I didn't know, Hey DAD~ guess what Father did." I said a little louder to taunt him.

"You are so beautiful that everyone can't help but ponder over your beauty." He said enthusiastically.

I walked away knowing I won. I grabbed my backpack and got ready to leave but then a handsome man with tan skin, green eyes, and black hair and had a black military suit used for the Galactic Forces Earth Branch, stopped me and put something in my jacket. "A gift from me for your birthday." He said with a soft smile.

"Thanks Dad." I responded kindly. It made me happy that such a loving couple found me and my brother who were certified street rats and took us in as their own children.

"Tell Mamoru I'll hang with him around Nine pm." I said as I left the manor.

As I made my way through the streets I decided to pass the Dementionial Gateway as a small treat to myself since it is my birthday.

In order to keep people from abusing or misusing the portal an ally of Earth known as Kalmatose from a poison planet from the other end of the galaxy helped make a defensive mechanism that didn't allow anyone who didn't have a Card I.D to enter without being poisoned by 346 different poisons. It is a safety counter measure that works on all species. I believe it is more than just poison but we will ignore that.

The portal has a strange beauty to it. It always seems to cheers me up but I don't visit often because of how expensive it is. Due to it being expensive I usually go all out and buy the V.I.P. Pass that give me free entering for a week! Go me!

I stood in front of the portal, marvelling at it's soft looking blue and black texture and the moving mass of stardust moving around within it.

As I made my way to the coffee shop where I worked I noticed a sign that said 'Happy Ralwan Nismark Day!'.

I walked in and was greeted by my best friend Kana. "Hey Hey, Happy Birthday!" She said in her usual eccentric voice.

I felt my face heat up and my heart skip a beat as I made my way to the staff room to get ready for work.

"Hey Happy Ralwands Day Megami" a stern women who looked like a traditional assistant said with less emotion than an experienced assassin.

"Morning, Manager." I said as I finished putting on my apron. I walked over to her and put my mouth against her left ear. "I will do my best today and then we can have some fun till Eight Thirty-nine." I said to her as my warm breath reached her ear, making sure to slow down my words at the end. I heard her gulp as her face and ears went red.

"Ahem. I will pay double since it's your birthday. M-megami." The manager said hastily.

"So brave Miss~." I said cheekily to entice her.

"G-get to work. We'll deal with this after." She ordered.

I smiled and walked away with a skip in my step. Just so you know we aren't dating or anything but just 'friends with benefits' as they say. She also pays me to do it with her but If I drink her blood I get paid less for my service. The manager already knows I'm gonna drink her blood tonight so she said she would pay double. 1.2 percent more than normal so she's just being stingy.

It was nearing the end of my shift when some costumers came in. As I went to take their order I was frozen solid.

There were four of them.

They were werewolves.

Werewolves usually don't bother me but I noticed one which seemed to be the leader of the group, he had a scar across his body and an arm missing which looked like it got caught in a nasty explosion. His clothes were a testament to that. They looked like they hadn't been washed in years and there was a big burn mark on the right side where an arm used to be.

I slowly backed up and ran to the staff room to gather my things.

"Megami what wrong?" "Meg what's wrong?" Kana and the manager worriedly asked nearly at the same time.

"I'm sorry but you have to pretend you never knew me and contact Mamoru Mahou, Lee Woo Young, or Lee Yan Raku from Blackwish-Construction to change your Identity until further notice. And do it TONIGHT." I said hurriedly.

I went to my Manager and gave her a deep kiss. "I'm sorry I can't do anything with you tonight." I said regretfully "Oh, remember to tell Mamoru that Fire and Ice took my heart." I said Just before I left out the back door.

I ran through the alley as fast as my physical body could take me but got intercepted.

" I knew I Smelled something familiar." Said a deep voice.

It was from the left side of the alley.

'Shit they did a pincer maneuver!' I thought as I looked behind me. It was the werewolf with the missing arm that said that. If I remember correctly he was the leader.

"Fucking BRAT! You ruined our packs career!" One of the werewolves on the right side of the alley said angrily.

"Tch" I rolled my eyes. No use humoring idiots.

"You damd bitch! You blew my arm off so I will make sure to use you and eat you properly. Get Her!" The Leader yelled.

I looked at them with pity. "You know, I enjoyed the talk but I have go" I said as I did a back flip

"Flipped Gravity: Output 9.5" I yelled as I felt the direction of gravity flip and I fell toward the sky. I looked at him, stuck out my tongue and made an expression that of a mad man then I put up my right hand towards him. I stuck out my middle finger and put it between my left hand's index and middle finger, pretending to cut it with scissors. I looked directly into the werewolf leaders eyes and started laughing like a maniac.

I'm really pissed now.!
