42 Shinigami

The Assassin stood in a pool of his own blood as he looked down with a stupefied expression on his face.

He was feeling immense pain, but he didn't pay any attention to it. His mind was just revolving around the same question.

Why?

"You didn't think that I would let you go so easily, did you?" A voice sounded behind him as he hurriedly turned around, only to look at Lilly, who had an amused grin on her face.

"That's just one of the things you are going to recieve for the things you have done." Lilly said as she walked towards the Assassin and picked up his severed arm from the pool of blood.

Even now, blood was oozing out from the large wound on Assassin's shoulder blade. Lilly had, in one swift swipe, cut his arm from his shoulders.

She stuffed the bloodied arm in the black clothes of the Assassin and said, "That should be a reminder to you that you should not never ever touch people close to me."
