1 Don't be so cocky, you idiot!!!

Morning at 7:00 am. The alarm was ringing non-stop. Aanya opened her eyes yawning. 'O God! why do I have to wake up this early.', she thought. And then again slept thinking that she will wake up soon.

After an hour.

"Ahhhhhhh.....I'm late, I'm late...oh no...shit,shit shit..." she screamed on the top of her lungs.She hastily brushed her teeth, took a shower and dressed up for office.

She was wearing a with shirt and blue denim jeans with snickers. Her hair bound in a pony tail. She ran out like a hurricane. "Mumma, I won't have breakfast, I'll eat something on my way...I'm late , bbye..."

Her mother came out with a jammed bread and a bottle of juice ."Have it, I knew you would be late...don't rush too much...it's not like he'll eat you up..."

"O mummy, you don't know him well okay...he's just a devil...he won't spare me, if I'm late even on your account. So stop siding with him. Bye."she said as she started her car .

As soon as she reached her office , she was greeted with sympathetic gazes. And now she knows ...it's over.

"Good morning, miss Aanya. Boss wants you in his cabin as soon as possible. Good luck. " Someone said. She turned and found her colleague Abhilash, her boss's secretary.

"I think you are rejoicing in my fortune abhilash. You're not the least bit worried about a sweet ,innocent girl stepping her foot in tiger's den." Aanya said while crying but no tears came out.

"It's not like that Miss Aanya. We all know of he's really over strict with you, you'll surely explode before him. So I'm sure you will come out unscathed."said abhilash , while laughing lightly.

"Okay, okay...I should go , or else that devil will chop me into pieces. "she said while winking mischievously.

Outside her boss's cabin.

'Knock, knock, knock....' . She knocked before entering.

"You were looking for me , sir??" she asked politely.

"Miss Aanya, you are late by 30 minutes. Your today's pay is deducted. How about the thing I asked you to do???" a man's deep voice came from behind the desk.

"It's completed sir. But sir, I was only late for 30 minutes,...you can't deduct my full day's pay." Aanya said pleadingly.

"I have already said so , Miss Aanya. And I don't want to discuss it anymore." said her boss impatiently.

"Where's the file , I asked for??"

After seeing and checking the file, he said, "It's not up to level Miss Aanya. Do it again and present it before lunch.And if you are late then forget about having lunch today." he ordered in a cold voice.

Aanya felt her temper rising at his cold words and she finally exploded when he said she can't have lunch if it's not done...

"Who do you think you are, Advik???" she said in anger.

" You think you can order me around since , I'm your secretary. Don't test my patience. I'm so done with your attitude...ever since I joined your company you have been treating me like this. Do you really think I won't resign.??..Don't be so cocky ,you idiot..."
