36 Binding Fears

Haruto's POV 

Lucy looked at me questioningly...I forgot I kept on rambling without keeping her in mind and not explaining to her my inner thoughts.

"There was a school in a place called Osaka in my home world, one day five years ago a whole class disappeared into thin air...leaving no trace behind. I think...no, I am sure that they were brought to this world. But this book is hundreds of years old is it not? That means that the time in my world runs much faster back there than here. Five years there is hundreds of years here...." my voice trailed off.

She kept silent but her face gave her emotions away, she was just as surprised as I was.

"It's weird isn't it...just five years between us, but this person is probably long dead" I continued.

Lucy nodded in reply, her face was blank. I knew she was thinking something but didn't know what.

I looked back at the book and continued reading.
