The Sinclair's bloodline

As Xylon stepped through the portal of the farm, he felt a powerful wave of magic coursing through his body. It was a sensation unlike anything he had ever felt before, and at first, he couldn't quite comprehend what was happening to him.

But as the fatigue from his journey through the desert began to dissipate, he slowly realized that something extraordinary was occurring.

He looked around in wonder at the farm and its surrounding annexes, feeling both surprised and bewildered.

How had he even arrived at this place? And why did it feel so strangely familiar, even though he knew he had never been here before?

For Xylon, life as a human had never been particularly exciting. His limited affinity for magic had always made him feel like an outsider in a society where magical abilities were highly prized.

But this strange new world that he found himself in was different. It was brimming with a kind of power and wonder that he had never experienced before.

As a former demon, Xylon had always believed that demons possessed far more advanced powers than humans could ever hope to attain.

But now, standing in this magical farm that was both familiar and strange, he wondered if he had been wrong all along. Maybe there was something special and unique about the human experience that he had never been able to appreciate before.

The farm itself was unlike any he had ever seen, with intricate patterns etched into the walls of the buildings and symbols etched into the wooden beams. The colors were a dazzling mix of earthy tones and vivid hues that seemed to shift and dance as if imbued with life.

It was as if the very essence of the place was alive, pulsing with an otherworldly energy that Xylon couldn't quite comprehend.

Despite his confusion and unease, Xylon couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity stirring within him. This place was a mystery, a puzzle that begged to be solved, and he was eager to uncover its secrets.

But little did he know that what awaited him within the walls of the farm would change his life forever.

As Xylon was pondering over his strange situation, a blinding light illuminated the farm, causing him to shield his eyes. He stumbled back, losing his balance and nearly falling to the ground. The light was so intense that he couldn't see anything else around him.

Xylon's mind raced as he tried to make sense of what was happening. Was this some sort of attack or magic gone wrong?

Xylon stood frozen, staring at the blinding light before him. He couldn't believe what was happening, and for a moment, he thought he was dreaming. But the intensity of the light was too much for it to be just a figment of his imagination.

As he looked up, he saw figures emerging from the light. They were tall, with wings as white as snow, and their skin glowed like the sun. Xylon was  wondering if these beings were sent by the god or were they some kind of celestial guardians.

As the bright light intensified, Xylon felt his body being lifted off the ground. He was suspended in mid-air, unable to move as the energy coursed through him. It was as if he was being judged by some divine being.

And then, a voice boomed in his mind.

"Xylon Sinclair, you have been chosen to become the new Soul Keeper. You possess the blood needed to fulfill this role."

Xylon's heart raced as he heard the booming voice echoing in his mind. He looked around, but he couldn't see anyone. The voice sounded divine, and it seemed to come from everywhere.

He tried to move, but he felt as if he was frozen in place. Xylon didn't know what to do or what to say. The voice continued to speak.

"You are the chosen one, Xylon Sinclair. The previous Soul Keeper has fulfilled his duties, and it's time for a new one to take his place. You have been deemed worthy by the heavens to carry out this task."

Xylon's mind was in a state of confusion as he tried to make sense of the situation. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

These celestial beings spoke to him as if he was a human, but he knew deep down that he was once a demon.

He pondered if they were aware of his past deeds and his true identity as Zephyr, but their words and actions suggested otherwise.

" Blood? So only the Sinclairs are made for this job ? " Xylon asked .

"Yes, that is correct," The celestial beings continued, "The blood of the Sinclair's is important and sacred. It is a lineage that has been blessed by the god . The first Soul Keeper was a Sinclair, and since then, only the descendants of the Sinclair bloodline have been eligible for this role. The Sinclair family has been tasked with the responsibility of the cycle of reincarnation for generations ."

As the Soul Keeper, the person must possess a strong affinity for a specific type of magic and be able to control powerful spells.

The Sinclair family was known for their innate magical abilities, which has been passed down from generation to generation. It was said that their blood is infused with pure divine magic, making them powerful sorcerers.

Xylon listened intently, his mind racing with thoughts and questions. He had never known about his family's history, let alone the important role they had played in the realm of magic.

The celestial beings exchanged a concerned look before one of them stepped forward to answer Xylon's question.

"If there are no Sinclair heirs to take up the role of Soul Keeper, the job will remain vacant until the next generation is born. It is a rare and sacred duty, and we cannot simply bestow it upon anyone who does not possess the necessary bloodline," the celestial being explained.

Xylon furrowed his brow, deep in thought. He couldn't help but wonder what would happen to the world of magic and demons if there were no Sinclair heirs to take on the responsibility of Soul Keeper.

"What happens to the balance between the human world and the demon realm if the position of Soul Keeper remains vacant?" Xylon asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

The celestial being nodded in agreement. " demons do have a long lifespan, and some even possess immortality. However, the balance between the human and demon realms must be maintained. Without reincarnation, humans would eventually become extinct, and the demons would be left to rule over a barren world.

" I feel like you are talking about another family, I could assure you that my family has no powers, let alone powers that you are describing !" Xylon replied calmly this time .
