49 Daughter

Sarael tried to get up as fast as she could. It is already embarrassing, seeing his face would or talking to him would only make it worse. But, Sebastian had other plans; he was tired of trying to escape from the truth. Seeing her face so close to his, he couldn't resist being selfish for a few more moments. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.

Sarael was amazed by his sudden behaviour. She looked up in his eyes, just noticed something different in his eyes. His eyes were not cold like usual, but she could clearly see love in them, which she never saw in him before. She gulped down in fear, her eyes struck at him.

"Let me be selfish for one last time," Sebastian told her before kissing her on the lips directly. Sarael stayed there like a stone, unable to grasp the situation. Even if her mind was still blank, her body reacted to it on its own. Her hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer. Her eyes closed slowly; savouring the feeling of it.

After seeing them like that, Samuel was finally relieved. He left the place to give them some space. He needs to meet someone to let them know that they fail to get what they want.

….

In a dark corridor, where only darkness and silence prevailed, only the footsteps of someone can be heard from afar, Samuel walked up to the end of the corner. A cell was at the end, a figure could be seen in the dark.

Samuel stood up at the front of the bars and unlocked the gates and entered the room, and closed the gates.

"Did you miss me that much to give me a surprise visit?" A soft voice snarled in the dark. Samuel didn't respond to it; instead, he lit a candle and turned back.

A young woman with a weak body with both of her hands and legs tied up with iron chains. Even with being kept bondage, she had a smirk on her face.

"Looks like you're enjoying it here?" Samuel asked, holding her chin up. His eyes showed pure hatred and vengeance for her. However, there was still a smile of triumph on her face. Seeing that smile made his blood boil. He couldn't control himself anymore, he grabbed her neck and strangled her to death.

She didn't give up; she continued smiling," You can't kill me? Seeing you this angry means I win." She laughed like crazy after saying. Samuel let go of her neck after hearing her. How cruel can someone be? Who would believe that she was the mother of the child, and she was his worst enemy?

People say, your strongest enemy is your closest one. And she proves it; But he will not let her do it, he will protect his son by any means. He let out a laugh," You think only you can play games," Samuel went close to her, his eyes meeting her," This time I played, and I win. I will make sure they unite."

After saying what he wanted he left, he didn't want to see her. Seeing her only made his blood boil. Once he left, she started laughing out, "My my, what a fool you are. You think you are helping them but you are just making it easy for me."

Tina looked up with arrogance," Come out." She called out. Suddenly a woman turned up from nowhere. Yvonne bowed to Tina with respect," Make them marry as soon as you can." Tina ordered her which she nodded easily.

"Once they get married, I can get out of here," Tina exclaimed in enjoyment, looking around the walls. Yvonne left once she got the order on what to do. She walked out but there was still a lot on her mind. A tear rolled down her cheeks, without her realizing. Yvonne was her daughter yet what she cares more about is about herself and a son she had to get her greed.

Beep! Beep! Horn from her car brought her back to reality. She brushed away her tears and walked up to the car. Her driver came out to give her an umbrella since it was pouring hard. But, she just walked past it and sat back in her car seat. The driver sighed and walked back in.

"Drive me back home." She ordered her driver, then stopped for a bit and looked up at him, she continued speaking," Grab some wine on the way."

Hearing, he was taken aback for a bit, he has never seen his mistress getting drunk or drinking alcohol. "What?" He asked again to stop any confusion. But she glared back at him, confirming him.

"Yes." He nodded and started the car and drove towards her home. In between, he stopped the car to get her some wine. Before going out he turned around and asked," Ma'am, what should I get you?"

Yvonne looked up at him," Get me the strongest wine there." She continued to look out of the window after answering him. He nodded to what she said and went to get her order. After a few minutes, he returned with a few bottles in a bag and gave them to her, " I don't know much about alcohol but they said it's the strongest they got." He said handing them to her, she didn't say much but took them from him and continued watching the view outside. It was raining cats and dogs. Seeing the raindrops falling on the ground, get rid of her loneliness. The feeling of loneliness was cancerous to her.

On reaching home, she got out and directly to her apartment. She opened the door and looked at her cold and tranquil home. She sighed, what was she even expecting? She removed the curtains, revealing the huge french window facing towards the sea. The rain was still pouring, thunder rolling in the sky, like that day.
