3 Chapter 03: The Outrider has Arrived!
I was following along a dirt road hoping it would lead to Mondstadt. I saw anemo slimes floating around, little ferrets roaming about, and a pack of boars sleeping peacefully.
"This world is very beautiful. It sure beats having to look at it from behind a screen."
I noticed walking around takes a lot longer than in-game. Usually, from where I am it only takes a few minutes of running in-game to reach Mondstadt. I have already been walking for an hour. I am not even out of the woods yet.
"This is going to take a while."
I took a loaf of bread from my inventory to fill my stomach from all the walking.
*munch**munch*
I wonder where I am in the timeline? Has Dvalin been purified? Has Osial attacked Liyue? Has the Sakoku decree been abolished? Has the prophecy in Fontaine passed? All these questions are unanswered.
"I should know when I reach Mondstadt."
I wonder what the characters will look like in real life. In the game, they have an anime aesthetic so it's hard to guess what they will look like in real life. I have seen cosplays of them before but I shouldn't reference them for their real-life counterparts.
As I was thinking I noticed a bright light at the end of the trees.
'That might lead me out of the woods.' I thought to myself hoping I was right. I ran towards it and was greeted by a bright light.
I covered my eyes with my hands, and as my eyesight began to adjust I saw wide plains of grass before me.
The view was breathtaking. The sky was clear blue with clouds drifting by the grass dancing with the wind while some sunflowers lay here and there.
I breathed in and the air was sweet and clean, not a hint of smoke and pollution found in cities.
"I have said it before and I will say it again this place truly is beautiful."
I continue to walk down the dirt road while continuing to take in the scenery around me.

As I was walking on the dirt road I noticed a gigantic tree in the distance.
"That must be Windrise and near it should be a statue of the 7."
I walked towards the tree and arrived after 30 minutes.
"Woah… It's even bigger than in-game." I said in awe the tree had a very wide trunk and multiple branches spread out reaching toward the sky with many beautiful green leaves.
"I wonder if there is an anemoculus on top of it or even if it does exist. It only served as a collectible in-game to be used for rewards on the statue of the 7." wondering if the game mechanics would have real-life functions or counterparts I looked towards the statue of the 7 nearby.
The statue was a young man wearing a hood and toga with wings sprouting from his back while holding an orb with his two hands.
"I wonder if I could get elemental powers if I touch it like the traveler."
I reached out my hand towards the statue feeling excited and hoping I could wield all the elements. My hand was getting closer and closer and finally touched the statue
…
*winds blowing*
"Hmm?" I tilted my head and waited for 2 more minutes.
…
I withdrew my hand and slumped down to the ground
"Nothing huh… so I don't even get to wield any of the elements…" I said with a feeling of discouragement.
"No! Don't be a bummer Jun you may not wield all of the elements like the traveler but you still have a chance to get a vision and don't you have the Kamen Rider system I'm sure no one else has it!" I said to myself to pull myself together.
I stood back up with renewed spirit and forgot that embarrassing moment. Suddenly I heard a voice behind me.
"Stop right there!
I turned around and saw a girl landing in front of me and I knew who she was. She wears a jumper-like outfit composed of dark brown shorts, a red top that has only a hood and sleeves, a white and brown top with the Knights of Favonius crest in gold on the front, red stockings, and white thigh-high boots embellished with gold linings and symbols. She also wears a leather belt with two small bags, and her Pyro Vision attached, gloves, a small belt on her right thigh, and gold-framed goggles. Her most distinguishing feature is the headband with the large red bow that rests on her head, resembling the shape of bunny ears. Additionally, her Vision has two red feathers attached below it. She was Amber, the first character you meet in-game.

"May the anemo God protect you, stranger. I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. You don't look like a citizen of Mondstadt and what are you doing here at Windrise? Explain yourself!"
Wow! It's Amber. She looks cuter in real life than in-game and her proportions are even better. Is it because they are not restricted from the game's body templates?
"My name is Jun. I got lost on my journey. I'm not looking for trouble," I said, trying to look as friendly and harmless as possible.
"That's what all troublemakers say. Your name doesn't sound local, where are you from?"
"Um…"
I panicked as I tried to lie my way through I can't say I came from another world and suddenly found myself in the woods *teehee*.
"I came from an island and ever since I turned 18 I wanted to see what was outside of my island. Unfortunately, my boat was not strong enough so was washed ashore on the coast near here" I said as I prayed in my head that this would work.
"Hmm okay, you don't seem to be a bad person. You should follow me to Mondstadt. There has been a large dragon sighted around recently. It has been attacking around in some areas."
'It worked!'
"Hmm? A dragon"
Must be Dvalin which means were at the beginning of the story. I wonder if the traveler has already arrived.
"Yes, the hilichurls around are also getting aggressive because of it we should hurry before…" Amber said urgently before she was interrupted by a presence behind her
"Yah!"
A group of hilichurls suddenly appeared. I wondered how the hell they sneaked up on us as we were in an open plain.
"They're here! I noticed you don't have a Vision get behind me I'll protect you." Amber equipped her bow and got ready to counter the hilichurls
"It's okay Amber I'm not as powerless as you think let me help you."
I took out the Zero-One driver and Rising Hopper Progrisekey. I put the driver on my waist and pressed the progrisekey.
[Jump!]
I then scanned it on my driver.
[Authorise]
A giant mechanical grasshopper materialized in front of us and started jumping, knocking back the hilichurls.
"Eeeh! What is that!? A giant grasshopper!?" said Amber as this was her first time seeing something like this
"Henshin!" I said as I flipped open the progrisekey and inserted it into my driver.
[Progrise]
[To-bia ga rise!]🎶 [Rising Hopper!]
[A jump to the sky turns to a Rider Kick]
As my transformation was finished Amber's jaws were open and the group of hilichurls started becoming weary of me.
"What the hell is the armor!" said Amber with awe and excitement
"Explanation later let's clean these guys up first," I said getting ready to pounce on the hilichurls
