Grandpa Max patted Elise's head and let her hug him for some time. He knew she needed it. Although she acted like she was fine, he knew the reality. She was just a 16-year-old girl. How could she handle all of it?

"Good," Elise left Grandpa Max's hands and said, nodding in appreciation, "You didn't drink today?"

"I haven't done that for a while, dear," Grandpa Max chuckled and said.

"Heyo, Grandpa Max, did you miss me or just missed your princess?" Lisa asked as she approached him.

Grandpa Max laughed and said, "How could I forget my little firecracker? Come here."

Lisa smiled and gave a light hug to Grandpa Max. 

"Wouldn't you introduce your family's princess to us, Elder Max?" Jean asked, sitting beside Marvin on a chair.

Grandpa Max chuckled and said, "If I could, I wouldn't want to introduce her to you. You would just spoil her rotten."

"As if you aren't doing the same," Lisa added from the sides.
