Xu Mang had managed to get through the week of school and it was finally the last day of the school week. Tomorrow was a rest day...to a salted fish, this was something worth looking forward to as long as his class teacher didn't mention that he needed to have extra classes on Saturday.

During the past few days, Xu Mang had gained some new understanding about his new neighbor. To sum it up briefly, Yang Xiaoman was like a firecracker. She didn't talk much to anyone and she didn't take the initiative to include herself with any of the other people who gathered together. She preferred to sit in her own seat and read her books.

It stands to reason that women should be quiet, and she was a beauty that was quiet. Unfortunately, God seemed to have not wanted to give this girl a good personality even though her appearance was the best in the world.

Violent, sensitive, suspicious, vengeful…

Of course, these were not all just feelings that he got from her. There was another element on Yang Xiaoman that Xu Mang was a bit curious about, and that was the fact that she...was somewhat of a loner.

Speaking of groups, there were several in his class. In the two years that Xu Mang had been observing, he could roughly figure out the characteristics of these groups. They were classified by grades, and in that bunch were maybe two small groups within the studious ones.

The class monitor, Hua Wei, represented the class monitor group. This group only had three people, the ones who held the first, third, and fifth place in class. The biggest unique thing about their group was holding discussions and sharing information among themselves.

The other small group was headed by the deputy monitor, Wang Liang, and his minions. All the members were amongst the top ten in class, and this bunch of people didn't share any information among themselves. It was more that they were competing against each other unless they encountered a problem that they couldn't solve.

Amidst the elite students, there would naturally be some of the more average students. They were the students from the average circle in class, mainly divided into three groups, and they relied on the better students to survive. A group that relied on becoming better by working without rest, but still somehow struggled all the way to death.

And finally below that...were just a few of the remaining ones which were the leftovers.

Xu Mang was not in any of those groups nor did he belong in the leftovers. As he had said himself, he had jumped out of the three realms and was not within the five elements. However, in this magical place, there was another member now, and that was Yang Xiaoman.

"Yang…"

"Yang Xiaoman." Wang Liang was holding up one of the test papers, and he came to stand beside Yang Xiaoman, asking nervously, "This...this question, do you know how to do it?"

Glancing at the pointed question, Yang Xiaoman nodded her head with a blank expression on her face, and as though it pained her to do so, a single word popped out of her mouth.

"Yes."

"Then…could you teach me?" Wang Liang asked with some anticipation in his face.

"..."

"Please find the teacher instead." Yang Xiaoman said, decisively turning down Wang Liang's request.

The scene had played out in front of Xu Mang's eyes.

When Wang Lian had come over, he had been quite radiant, but now, he left with a distressed aura.

"Sigh...this guy seems to have been interested in you." Xu Mang said cheekily. "He's not good for you, listen to my advice, it won't be wrong."

"..."

"Or did you think he is?"

Yang Xiaoman glanced back at him blankly. Ever since she had eaten his dinner, Yang Xiaoman had treated Xu Mang slightly differently, but sometimes it changed, and sometimes she hurt him again, and now they were back to the starting point once more.

"You will understand in time. Look…" Xu Mang said, his face carrying a mysterious expression. "Later, he will buy a cup of milk tea, and then he'll pick a time when you aren't at your desk to leave it there. A note will be attached to it, and it will say…'when studying for a long period of time, don't forget to relax occasionally too.'"

Tsk!

I don't believe it!

Yang Xiaoman wouldn't believe the words of Xu Mang, and she continued to read her book.

In the afternoon, Yang Xiaoman really did receive a cup of milk tea. There was also a note attached to it with the exact same words that Xu Mang had narrated earlier.

"..."

"Is this your idea of a joke?" Yang Xiaoman asked Xu Mang.

Xu Mang shrugged his shoulders, his face portraying an innocent expression as he said, "A handsome guy like me has always been on the receiving end instead of giving...you must be out of your mind!"

"Idiot."

Yang Xiaoman was positive that this milk tea was not given by Xu Mang. Even though this guy was shameless and rather daring, if it really was him, he would have admitted it...so now she could confirm that the milk tea was indeed given by Wang Liang.

"I'll give it to you."

Yang Xiaoman passed the milk tea over to Xu Mang.

"You're not going to drink it? Then I'll happily accept it." Xu Mang never said no to free things, happily accepting the milk tea and taking a sip.

Less sugar, less ice, medium-size cup, Xu Mang could feel Wang Liang's love in this cup of milk tea. Unfortunately for him...his love was not even worth mentioning.

There was no helping it. In the pursuit of love, not everyone could have it go smoothly unless...he had a face like Xu Mang's.

Xu Mang leisurely ate the black pearls one by one, risking a glance at Wang Liang, who looked extremely angered right now. Xu Mang suddenly felt that he should properly thank him, and the best thanks was, of course, a return gift.

"I'm done with it, thanks for your love." Xu Mang said, returning the empty cup to the angry Wang Liang.

The so-called murderous intent...

It was just that.

Ignoring Wang Liang's anger, Xu Mang happily returned to his seat, happy that he had managed to save a confused person.

This was because Yang Xiaoman was this kind of girl…

She was untouchable!

Current Quest: None

There were still ten minutes left before it was time to leave school, and Xu Mang glanced at his accumulated skill points. All of the stats were average, and at this rate, before the monthly exams came, each skill could reach about 2,000 points.

Xu Mang froze for a moment. This figure seemed to be slightly unlucky.

"Cough cough!"

"There is still class tomorrow, morning will be politics, and afternoon will be Chinese. Don't forget." Lin Yishan announced to the class, coughing lightly, making an announcement that made everyone depressed.

Compared to the others, Xu Mang's reaction was particularly eye catching—he cried…

"Xu Mang!"

"You can go home, the school has informed me that you don't need to attend the extra class." Lin Yishan said softly, glancing at Xu Mang's red eyes silently.

For real?

Xu Mang was stunned for a moment, and just as he was about to nod in agreement, he suddenly halted.

No!

He wanted to increase his skill points!

"Mr. Lin!"

"Please let me participate in the extra classes!" Xu Mang said firmly. "I've already lost in the race, if I also lose the opportunity of a free extra class, I really am a waste of space!"

"Furthermore, isn't life all about struggles? Studying hard is also the best one!" Xu Mang said, getting more passionate by the minute to the point that he was standing up, looking at the students around him as he shouted.

"..."

"..."

"..."

This was it!

This guy had gone completely around the bend!

All of the students were taken aback by Xu Mang's words and speech, some of them were even starting to dial 120.1
