Infiltration

Azviel yawned and sighed in happiness as he finished a big meal. "Ah~ I'm glad they let me into the city with bloodied clothes. They probably thought I was in a dungeon or something! The food they have here is delicious! I used up most of my gold coins though."

He frowned as he peeked into his money pouch. One. Two. Three...Eight. "I only have eight gold coins left. That's no good!" Azviel sighed and walked down along the city market street. "I really need some new clothes...Wearing bloodied clothes for two-hundred years in not nice."

He went to one of the nearest clothes stall. A lady was running it. "Welcome fellow customer. What would you like to buy today?"

Azviel glanced around quickly. "That shirt and that pants." He pointed at a black shirt and a black sweatpants. The lady packed it up. "That'll be six gold."

He frowned. "5."

The lady smiled. "Six is the cheapest I can go."

"4."

The lady started sweating. "W-Wait! I'll do 5!"

Azviel nodded and gave her five gold coins. He picked up the clothes and slung them onto his back. "I should probably find somewhere to stay first..." He headed down the street until he came across a place called "Rochella's Lounge."

Azviel pushed the door open and entered. The inside was cozy with a fireplace crackling and warming up the entire area. A girl was standing at the desk and jumped when she saw him. "Welcome to Rochella's Lounge! I'm the manager, Rochella!"

Azviel pulled out his money pouch. "How much does it cost to stay a night here?"

She held up two fingers. "Two gold coins, sir! I shall prepare a room for you right away!"

He placed two coins on the counter and she ran to get a key. Rochella came back with a single scroll. "Second floor, Room 3! Enjoy your stay, sir!"

Azviel took the scroll from her hand and started walking up the stairs. "What is this scroll for...?"

He went to Room 3 and tried to push it open. The scroll glowed and the door opened. There was a bed on the corner were a drawer and a single torch on top. Azviel dropped down onto the bed. "Huh...No wonder it's only two gold coins. It barely fits me!" He placed his sword by the bedside and took off his cloak.

Azviel quickly changed into the new clothes he bought. His wings made two rips in the back, but other than that, it fit him. "Hmm...I guess these clothes automatically adjust to your size. It also seems to automatically sew itself together when broken." The black shirt made an opening where his wings are.

Azviel brushed his hair out of his eyes and behind his horns. He fell comfortably onto the bed. "It's been a long day. I need to get more money though...Should I just rob someone? I doubt there's anyone rich just wandering the streets."

He sat up and wore his cloak once more. "I'll just see if anyone needs to clear a dungeon or something...And I still haven't figured out what that stone I found was." Azviel picked up his sword and exited the room, and out of Rochella's Lounge.

He walked down the city streets once more. "The only place I can go for a party is the Player's Guild...but they'll recognize my name tag on sight. Although I'm wearing a mask, my name tag will give me away..."

Azviel sighed and sat down on the side of the road. "I wish it would be just as simple as 'Set Name: Angel' or something." Instantly, a voice sounded in his head. It was metallic and mechanical.

[Name Set As Angel]

Azviel froze for a moment. He smiled. "It must be the cape's work. How convenient. I could just kill someone who has a Player's Guild tag and copy their name. There's no picture on it, so I can just steal their identity."

He placed his sword on his side and then started walking along the crowd, scanning for any lone Player.

After around half an hour, he spotted a young boy that was a level 8. Azviel grinned. "Perfect. Low level, not suspicious, and a Player." He whispered into the air. "Set Level: 73."

[Level Set As 73]

Azviel walked up to the boy, his cloak pulled over his head tightly. "Boy, I see potential in you. Would you like to be my Player apprentice?"

The boy's name was Aldo. His eyes instantly shined. "Really? I've really wanted a teacher! And to be approached by a level 73!"

Azviel gave him a cold smile. "Yes, dear Aldo. Come along, I'll buy you a weapon."

Aldo laughed happily. "Yes! Thank you, Master! Oh, my family would be so proud of me! To be a Player apprentice!" He followed Azviel to the alleyway between some houses.

Azviel walked down a bit deeper and then turned around. Aldo's looked around excitedly. "Are we here?"

Azviel smiled. "Yes. We're here...for your death." He instantly unsheathed his sword in one motion and swung it through Aldo's neck. Aldo's eyes widened and his head fell to the ground, lifeless.

Azviel rummaged through his corpse to find a tag and some money. "My apologies, Aldo." He waved his hand and walked away, while leaving the corpse behind him burn to dust.
