Impossible

Varsia watched as the first A-rank dropped into the line. It was an orc. Tall, burly, and carrying a club. It watched Azviel tentatively, as if it was deciding whether to attack or not.

Azviel sighed and yawned as it huddled in the corner with the other monsters. He looked at Falziel and frowned. "Must be having the time of his life..being able to go on a killing spree like that."

In reality, Azviel also felt slightly hostile to Falziel's holy energy. But due to having a mind and will of his own, he was able to hold it back quite well. A few more orcs dropped in before all the monsters banded up and finally decided to attack him.

He grinned and took out the two claymores. "Finally! I thought that none of you were going to attack!" The orcs swung their clubs as he ducked underneath and sliced through them like butter.

The weaker mobs vaporized under just a touch of his sword. He held back quite a bit because he didn't want to be suspicious. However, his power level seemed like it was in the triple-digits.

Varsia watched with shock. "Impossible...No wonder the monsters were hiding. I've never heard of someone that can make monsters cower just because of their strength!"

Once a few of the orcs were killed, the other monsters instantly went back to huddling in a corner. Azviel sighed and placed the claymore against his shoulder. "Just come at me already!" He flopped down onto the floor, his guard completely lowered.

A few more A-rank beasts dropped in and then silence. No more beasts came in. Azviel shouted at Varsia, "Oi! Is there no more beasts?"

She stammered, "N-No. That is all we have."

He sighed and brought up the claymore. In a single sweep, all the mobs had their heads cut off. Falziel was also finishing up on the other side.

Varsia's jaw dropped to the ground. "I-Impossible. B-Both of you killed every single monster in the t-training lane...Sir Falziel and Laoter...You shall automatically be assigned to Rank S."

She made a small motion with her hand and generated two ID cards from thin air. Azviel picked it up and placed it into his pocket. "Is there any high-level dungeons near by?"

She thought for a moment then nodded. "A B-Rank dungeon spawned recently, but it's required to have at least a party of five to go in. I also need to verify you and some other paperwork."

Azviel frowned. He wanted to go to some dungeon alone so that he wouldn't have to be careful of his actions. "Don't S-Rank Players have some sort of perk?"

Varsia nodded. "Well yes, but player count for dungeons are a requirement. Unless you want to go try the S-Rank Dungeon that spawned over at Elsia. However, you would have to partake that with other S-Rank players. We currently have an S-Rank Mage and a S-Rank tank on standby. Would that be fine?"

Falziel nodded. "Yup! We can wait in the lobby, please send them over whenever is possible! We would like to head to Elsia as soon as possible."

She dipped her head and headed back to the main building. Both Falziel and Azviel followed her.

The lobby was currently quite empty since there were guards in the front. There were only a few players here and there.

Azviel sat down on the couch and Falziel plopped down next to him. "Isn't this exciting, Keres? We get to go do a dungeon for the first time together~"

"It would be better if it's not with you." Azviel yawned and stretched as he said that.

Falziel poked him a few times. "Oh, don't be like that! How can you say that when we've known each other for over a century? And are you hungry? I have some bread leftover from my earlier meal when you weren't here." He held out his hand and murmured, "Holy Magic: Spatial Distortion."

A ripple appeared on his hand and a piece of bread fell out of nowhere. "Here, it's a bit hard though."

Azviel ignored him. "I'm not hungry."

"Come on, you haven't eaten since that ice cream." Falziel poked him even more.

Azviel sighed and took the bread. He threw it into his mouth and said, "Happy? Now stop bothering me."

Falziel grinned. "Yes, yes. I'll stop bothering you for now."

After around half an hour, Varsia walked back to them. "Sir Falziel and Laoter, I would like to introduce you to Sir Felton Helio, a S-Rank mage."

Felton gave them a warm smile. "Hello, I'm Felton, a Level 143 player. I mainly excel in buffs."

Falziel held out a hand for him to shake. "Nice to meet you. I'm Falziel. A level 92 archer."

"Oh, level 92? And a S-Rank? Impressive." Felton took Falziel's hand and shook it.

Varsia cleared her throat. "Ahem...And here is the S-Rank tank, Rya Yelvtal."

Rya waved up her hand and gave them a wink. "Heya! I'm Rya, a level 165 tank. Nice to meet ya!"

Falziel waved back. "Hello Rya, call me Falziel."

Azviel gave them both a short nod. "Keres. Level 84. I'm fine with anything as long as it's not healing."

Rya gasped. "A level 84 S-Rank? That's amazing! Well, anyways, shall we start heading over to Elsia?"

All of them nodded. Falziel grinned. "Well, let's go!"
